, I decided to mention you on a dead thread. you can send me your email to The CEO's personal email address is.... Pls, don't quote so that I can edit and delete as appropriate. Cheers. |
The mind is a very powerful thing. It makes you see what you want to see even if it's not the reality. |
Congrats to them. |
Liposure:Why are you comparing Shekau to Jesus? Does it even make sense to you? |
GamalNasser:The US President-elect can only be voted by Americans and not Nigerians. Lesson: Mind your business. |
HeavenlyBang:Tacoma is to 4Runner Tundra is to Sequoia |
Nothing was stolen, it was just a mob exhibiting stupidity. |
Endsars protesters are NOT recognised in law BUT the Governor went there twice. That is how they use legal technicalities to obstruct justice. The law is made for man, not man for the law. When the hoodlums were burning Courts, where were these people? Allow aggrieved people to vent the right way so that they don't vent the wrong way. Please, allow people express themselves legitimately. Don't use your own knowledge of law to cause problems. Use it to solve problems. |
UnaToto:His sons really have to be careful. There are unpleasant legal implications of their utterances these past few days. |
Adesuwag:Sanwo-Olu in Lagos handled Covid far far better than Trump, no jokes. If you followed the Covid response, Trump handled it exactly like Ayade in Cross River. |
Except a miracle happens, Trump has lost. What we are just seeing are stages in breaking bad news to him. They are preparing his mind for the inevitable. |
shinacology:What do you know about forex that you want to put your money there? It is like you want them to use your money to kill cow this Christmas. |
They are waiting for time to lapse. They would be served by substituted means. |
If only those who put their money in MBA know the legal implications of this move by MBA. I just dey laugh.
|
Not surprised. The US still smarting from now Adesina of AFDB made them eat sand, they are afraid of allowing another Nigerian demystify them again. |
Cyberknight:As I told you before, for every problem, there is a solution and for every solution, there is a problem. If you keep looking for solutions, you will get them and if you look for problems, you will also get them. Can you please mention anybody you know in Lagos who held a property in the name of a COMPANY and the property was seized and not released. Not just blanket claims, mention just a single 1 in Lagos. Even those held in Lagos in personal names were not seized. |
Cyberknight:For every problem, there is a solution and for every solution, there is a problem. If Nigeria splits, some people would lose and some people won't. You can't help it. You own is to ensure that you don't lose what is yours. If you intend holding real estate for a very long time, buy it in the name of a Company and get proper documentation. If you check Osinbajo's Asset declaration documents for instance, what you see majorly there are shares in specific private companies. Those companies were formed to hold assets. That's an example of how you use the law to protect yourself and your assets. |
If you are in Lagos, nothing would happen to your property. There is a reason Dangote put his refinery in Lagos and nowhere else. If you are afraid of takeover of your property, incorporate a Company in which you're a director and transfer ownership of the property to the Company. Thereafter, process your Title from the government in the name of the Company. |
I've read the arguments against these protests but it seems a lot of people don't know what the youths are up against. Before you condemn the End Police Brutality protesters, try to pay a visit to the prisons and see the number of innocent persons there. Personally, a Policeman once stopped me on the road and asked me what job I was doing to drive the kind of car I drove. I told him I'm a lawyer who owned my firm. He insisted on going through my phone to show I was clean. It was until I threatened to sue the CP and IGP before he started begging. Imagine what other young professionals face. A few weeks ago, some policemen threatened to slap my uncle who is above 60 years. This is a man who retired at Director-level in the CBN. 2 days ago, a colleague reached out to me that her neighbour was arrested by the Police. There was a Warrant from another state for his arrest, so it seemed okay on the surface. Now, when she got to the Police station, the Policemen told her not to bother getting a lawyer as it won't change anything. According to them, if the family of the guy was willing to play ball, they would arrest a random person on the street and use him to substitute the person in custody. Provided the court has gotten a scapegoat, it won't matter even if it is an innocent person framed and jailed for an offence he knows absolutely nothing about. I know for a fact that innocent people are raided regularly and taken to the station. If they can't pay heavy sums for their bail, they are framed for armed robbery and beaten into making self-indictive statements. Also, other persons in custody are tortured to identify the innocent persons as members of their gangs. You sit in Nairaland thinking your chicken change or investments can protect you or you think you're too old to face Sars or Police harassment. I laugh. 20 years from now when you think you're safe. You have invested all your life and sent your kids to live abroad and they are back for the holidays. Your son takes your car to fuel at the gas station or you send him on an errand and these criminals in uniform would profile them. In the course of explaining and arguments, they would be shot dead. You think it is impossible? They would kill your children and absolutely nothing would happen, I guarantee you. How many killer cops have you seen jailed? I'm not for anarchy and breakdown of law and order but you should know that peace is not the absence of conflict but the presence of justice. |
This excuse is more foolish than the initial decision. |
DEROXMAN:You don't understand, Oshiomhole is loyal to Tinubu. Tinubu made him Chairman. |
Constant desire for love, acceptance and validation is what drives David to do many of the things he does. He doesn't need to prove anything to anyone. He's a very hard worker and he's done well for himself. No need begging for love or acceptance. No need fighting imaginary enemies. |
I pray for Leke that God should give him divine wisdom cos he desperately needs it. May social media not be his ruin and may be be a example to emulate and not a mistake to avoid. |
