UtuokeAlcoholic:In those days, educated people led protests, not illiterates calling people Ipobs, Afonja and so on. If you are comfortable with the nonsense going on, kindly sit down and keep to yourself. |
authority2006:The previous protests, we're facilities destroyed? Or it is only the Endsars protests that you followed? Even during endSars, we had the protests and the riots. They were 2 different events and educated people know that. I suggest you get better educated before posting. |
I have never seen a Senate President so ridiculed like this Lawan. The funny thing is that he is always the one ridiculing himself. |
The demands of everyone are simple. Lead by example Treat everyone equally Tell your tribesmen to stop killing us People are no longer asking for food, roads, potable water and electricity. They are simply asking you to secure their lives and stop herdmen from killing them, you are calling meeting. Of what use are the previous meetings held over this menace of herdmen? Remove herdsmen from the equation and various agitations will die off. |
Lagos has always been a centre of political consciousness in this country, right from the 1940s. A dozen Buharis and 2 Dericas of Lie Mohammed can't change that. During the Ali Must Go riots, Lagos was a prominent centre. Sani Abacha saw pepper in the hands of NADECO members most of who were majorly Lagos-based. Tinubu, Fayemi and Soyinka were members of NADECO. When Yar'Adua was half dead and refused to handover, the Save Nigeria Group was formed in Lagos. Then GEJ removed subsidy, Occupy Nigeria started from Lagos. Late Gani Fawehinmi, Falana, Late Bamidele Aturu, Chima Ubani and others were activists based in Lagos who shook the nation. This baby despot and his association of unintelligent advisers with low self esteem should know that Lagos has always been a centre of activism, right from when they were dropping out of secondary school to join the Army. |
Elrufai has joined the fray in this madness. This is someone who ran away from Nigeria in 2008 to escape from Yar'Adua. I am very certain that in a few years, these men engaging in this current foolishness will look back and bite their fingers in regret. |
I only hope Buhari follows this up by staying back in Nigeria for medical treatment. You can't be doing shakara for the UK in May only to run there in July and be begging for medical treatment. |
Funny enough, I just paid for tinted permit for my vehicle today. If the IGP likes, let him suspend it. I will collect my money back. I won't collect any permit and let me see the person who will ask me any stupid question on tinted permit. |
Saint99:Same thing happened to the founder of Healthplus pharmacy. |
Certain small-minded persons are pained that they are being served the same dish they give others. Ordinary deletion of tweets, those people are crying. Are they as powerful as Trump that was handed an indefinite ban only recently reduced to 2 years. Let them keep calling press conferences over tweets while the country burns due to their incompetence. Many of them will eventually die in exile or those lucky will die in jail. |
Odidigboigbo:You don't mean it! |
Havertz10:Not all banks are publicly traded. Certain banks are not listed. E.g. Standard Chartered Bank and Citibank. Yet, they must also comply. Mind you, MDs of MFBs like LAPO and the rest will also be required to comply. It is not a function of listing, it is a function of the sector in which they operate. The banking sector is heavily regulated. |
Havertz10:Your post doesn't apply to banks. Government doesn't want bank chiefs to use depositors funds to buy boats and villas. |
Sysdatek:I have heard so from various sources. Even Civic towers, all Zenith subsidiaries pay rent to the firm. Cleaners, Security officers and staff recruitment are outsourced to companies owned by Jim's wife and some topshots. |
Sysdatek:Hmmn. You sabi. But it is easier to incorporate a company (X limited) and use it to buy 100 houses and then instead of saying you own 100 houses, you simply say you own 30% of X limited. |
OreoPaschal:Done |
Vincenzi:If you are serious about taking it up, send me a DM. But it's not that when we hold them by the neck and their eyes see pepper, you will now turn around and start begging for them. |
Judith2021:You have a need for it, that's why you wan want to get it. I suspect you want to use it for business,l because from your profile, you just founded a school. Don't get a car now. Look for minibus drivers to ferry pupils and pay him per week. You can now bill the kids per term for school bus services. If you insist on getting a car at that budget, that car will spend more time in your mechanic's workshop than with you. |
Hamas made a big, big, mistake. This fight simply shows Israel has the military capacity to take over Palestine. The cycle of violence won't end. Both parties will just declare peace and use that time to upgrade weapons preparatory to starting another round of conflicts. |
Swealy:You are not stupid, you did the right thing. Don't mind those castigating you, they think they are smart but cutting corners is never worth it. I'm proud of you, and many others reading this are also proud of you. Cheers. |
folabayo:Hahahaha. They really exposed you to life. Life inside life, eg, betrayal. |
folabayo:You were quite younger then, I guess. The good thing to learn is that when you have things going on smoothly for you, learn to keep it to yourself. You don't owe anyone stories of your enjoyment and you don't know who is happy with you. It is even good they didn't hurt you physically before you found out. Back then in Uni, I had supposed friends of my then girlfriend, go ahead to mislead her to put up nasty attitudes, only for them to turn around and be trying get me to date them. Like 3 that I know. |
Nigeria is not in a position to do anything to the British. Nigeria's President goes to the UK for healthcare., so he can't do anything. Fixing your hospitals to world class standards is a security move to prevent insults like this but our politicians don't understand. Covid lockdown and they couldn't enter UK, see them dying like flies. |
Please, what is the mileage and kindly provide the VIN too. |
Learn any of the following. Software Development IPhone and high-end Samsung repairs Solar and inverter devices installation Auto mechanic specialising in Benz and Range Rovers If in Lagos, try to work as an intern in a real estate company. Even if it's just carrying bag to meetings, you won't regret it in a decade. Basically look for how to make the rich need your services. |
emmanuelewumi: emmanuelewumi:Some people deserve to suffer loss and adversity so that they will learn to be prudent with their resources and the things they open their ears to. |
Disintegration? No Deamalgamation? Yes Deamalgamation is not a bad thing. |
padamz07:You need a Surveyor and a lawyer. Don't pay for the land without these 4 steps. 1. Get a Surveyor to pick up the physical coordinates to be sure that the land doesn't fall under government acquisition. 2. Get a lawyer to verify that the land does not have issues of any kind as regards title and documentation. Once you get a positive response from the 2 steps above, you move on to the next 2 steps. 3. Your Surveyor draws the Survey Plan in your name and the details of the Survey Plan are used to prepare your Deed of Assignment. 4. Your lawyer prepares your Deed of Assignment. The information obtained in the course of pre-purchase verification comes in useful at this point for preparing your own Deed of Assignment. |
2 months is more than enough to hide proceeds of corruption and he should know this. What most bankers will do is incorporate companies and transfer their assets to those companies. If they are buying a house, they will buy it in the name of the company. When it is time to declare assets, they will say they have So and so shares in such companies not knowing that company is solely for holding hidden assets. To prevent this, they should have done it the way CBN handled crypto, sudden and unexpectedly. But I guess he either wants attention, wants to give them heads up to hide their loots or he's too naive. |
But they can engage foreign doctors to treat themselves. When they are ready to solve the security challenges, they know what to do. They are just fooling themselves. |
vizzyswagh:God bless that boy. |
Vodina resigned as what? Director at MBA Forex or Director at WCEP Partners which purportedly acquired MBA Forex. |
