Politics › Re: Senate Summons CBN Governor, DG SEC Over Cryptocurrency Ban by MrMcJay(m): 3:21pm On Feb 11, 2021 |
In 2018, the House of Reps told the CBN to come up with a regulatory framework for blockchain technology in Nigeria. This was after adopting a bill titled ‘Need to regulate blockchain applications and Internet technology’, which was sponsored by a member of the house, Solomon Adaelu.
2021 now, the Senate is now inviting the CBN to explain the poorly-thought decision of banning accounts with crypto transactions.
Let them make it a public hearing and invite the CBN to defend this retrogressive policy. Let sound minds tear this foolish policy to shreds. CBN that can't write a simple error-free letter. |

Tinubu's foes are his greatest campaigners. They inadvertently promote him all year round but end up losing out every 4 years. |

The NGF is merely an association, it doesn't hold instrument of state and is not recognised in the Constitution..If the Governor tells herdsmen to vacate the forest, the Land Use Act empowers him to do so. |
Romance › Re: Is Kogi State Cursed? by MrMcJay(m): 3:45pm On Jan 25, 2021 |
Kogi state is largely a civil-service state. Most of the employed adults work for the State Government and its parastatals. Even private businesses there depend on the patronage of those who work for the Government. When GYB became Governor and civil servants' salaries were delayed and not paid, the economic structure of the state was destroyed. Civil servants couldn't afford basic necessities and basic things became luxuries.
In your own case, you need to leave that environment. You need to get out of Kogi and get something doing. You can't just sit down there and be lamenting. Go to Ilorin, go to Abuja or even Lagos. All you need is a job or skillset which provides you a roof while you save little by little. |
