Remember 2010 when almost every home bought petrol and new DVD players just to watch Michael Scofield Tear Fox River Apart?

I also remember I cried so deep with my tears so hot, one could boil an egg in them when I saw Michael Scofield slowly die after rescuing Sara Tencredi and the rest.

Well, I've been watching the new Season 5 of the same prison Break and seeing my mentor Wentworth Miller do his thing along side T-Bag, Sucre and C-Note is another reason to be happy.


Now this movie is not so out there, you can't buy a CD for the complete season 5 at least not yet, but I'll teach you where to watch the complete original episodes just as soon as they're released.

Nigeria is a very sweet kwantiri.

You know its a country where you spend a total of 20 Years or more acquiring papers only to be offered another one year to acquire a skill.

I think they call it NYSC or something like that.

But some participants see this as a time to party and showcase their beauty, switch from bar to bar after their teaching in one primary or secondary school.

Some just keep praying for the one year to pass so they can be free from all. Little did they know they've been given a one year of a life time to acquire some skill.

The males?
A few of them actually realize this as I met 2 at a welding workshop 2 days back, I Also met another one at a mechanic shop and when I asked he said he's not ready to waste his time teaching in a classroom when he is an engineering student.

This is good to me ooo.

The ladies are also trying, some are using their weekends to learn interior decoration, others venture into fashion design, Gele and bead making. This is all good.

I just hope a large number of our youths will see this as a time to add more skills to their bank.

You need this because the future you're coming to meet after the #19800 is not here ooo.

Unless you start learning something new now or sure of getting a job out there, please make the best use of your time.

Other copers on my list have actually made themselves useful and these ones I'm proud of because by the time they drop their cap and Yellow Shoes, their head Will be filled with good skills that will make them hot cakes in the society.

I've made this post for those that are going soon to understand that its not a time to play, its a time to learn something.

Some establishments won't even charge you much to teach you these skills. But will you be willing and patient enough to allow them teach you? Are you willing to drop the "I be federal Government Pikin" Attitude and learn something?

Just imagine you've invested the entire one year in Hair dressing, fashion designing, Metal Fabrication, Alumaco, graphics design, Poultry farming and rearing of fish and other echetra echetram.

You'll be independent by the time the one year runs out ooo.

Now you can thank me later for sharing this golden information with you because some people won't share it with you for free.

You'll be shocked to the bone to discover that majority if Nigerians actually know Omawumi more than they know Timi Dakolo, yet Timi Dakolo won the project fame of that season while Omawumi was the next to him.

What I'm saying is, while you may not make it to the front page in your endeavours, while you may not be the winner in all, always try out something...

That's life. kemeni left for pressing bress, yet, he would be signing some contract for some company out there.

Debie Rise to me is the most favored of all contestants. Despite her fame before going to the house, she recorded a track which I guess will make the waves soon as I already have it on my phone.

So its not really about winning or Efe. Everybody that's taken part in this reality show is a winner. Non of them will ever remain the same as they used to be...

What's wrong if you fail out from your university or became a drop out or something, its a lesson you'll live till the day you die and j bet you no professor, not even Sole Soyinka himself cab teach you that.

If it should have been by muscle and big chest or 6 packs, Efe won't even come close, Kemeni is a fitness trainer, if it was by butts or Ikebe, Bisola will be the winner, if it was all about the prettiest, I guess TBoss would have a slot along with TTT but its beyond that.

Always be real and never say its too late to try something

Never be discouraged go try something new and always remember that your failure today could either make you better or show you how to come out better next time...

Every body was happy. That's high school anyways.

Here's how they killed the Engineer in Me


After SSCE the story changed, it was in 2005 when I had a taste of JAMB. 174 was the score back then when runs was not a choice.

DELSU had been my first choice but I couldn't even get close to the gate since I was below the national cut-off. So I faced life as i got a job and joined the hustlers gang.

A few months later, I got Another JAMB form and sat for the exams. This time, I made a 208 and proceeded to take POST UME as it was called then.
It was a time to answer over 200 questions within 4 hours, mathematics was a must for engineering aspirants.

Within these hours, I'll expand, factorise and integrate, I might differentiate and find a determinant if the matrix demands. Apart from these, a lot of reasoning is required for the aptitude questions and these were to be answered within 4 hours

At a moment I saw myself counting the ceilings in the hall since the so-called invigilators wouldn't allow me turn to ask my neighbor what to shade in my answer sheet

That's how I lost yet another year. The drama kept repeating itself for 2 more years and my love for the University began to die. The reason for the death was no other than this: If they wanted me there, why would they make it so hard for me?

I want to be an engineer but if only they had taken JAMB and Post UME off the equation, I'll get the answers I need.

I stayed at home for a series of years and everybody kept repeating Sole Soyinka's Ordeal with WAEC, they just kept saying I'll make it someday. Little did they know I didn't want to be an engineer anymore.

The maths was too much, the x and y were always there and the "y" would always be differentiated with respect to "x", sometimes I began to imagine why x is always senior to y.

With time I began to think about my friends who made it in one sitting, mark was accepted for mass communication, Ofure Enaholo Egbadon was accepted for Sociology, even the dullest back in secondary school is now in UniZik and here I was, writing JAMB every year.

The year I scored 228, I was over joyed, I was certain that my admission is sure, I was much over joyed after the post UME scores came out. I made a 51 in Post UME alone, with the aggregates (54) when the cut-off was 50, my admission was sure.

I waited for the first batch, second batch, the 3rd came, still nothing, supplementary came, I wasn't there, an uncle said they've sold the slot to someone with a huge influence, I said " God Forbid" but after February, I realized my uncle was right after all.

That's how I lost my dream to be an engineer after 7 years of waiting. The zeal never went down anyways and so I took a polytechnic form and got an National Diploma, a Higher National Diploma after 3 years and today I've been admitted into the same universities that rejected me back then for a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.

They killed the engineer in me, but I'll be the greatest technologist and my services, these engineers will desperately need to get there.

I want to be an engineer, now I'm a technologist and I'm happy for it. They killed the engineer in me, but they resurrected the greatest of all Technologists

For the umpteenth time, never allow sex be the only asset you've got to offer in your relationship with any man.

We men are like babies, sometimes we don't even know what we want from a relationship but in some cases, were hit by the greatest reality of all time and that's when you see us jumping up and down even if you're there in the home.

Now when last did you tell your man of the things you admire about him? What features do you find most attractive about your man and when did you ever make him realise this?

RESPECT is reciprocal they say but the truth is that it breaks us as men and put us exactly where you want us to be...

Now lastly but not the least, how do you feel to be tickled from the back by someone you love? You're shocked abi, but on realizing its your bebe, you smile and everything is sweet in your tommy. That's PHYSICAL TOUCH my dear. I need that too.

For most times skilled people always prosper regardless of economic conditions.

People will always need food, shelter and clothing.

During economic downtown the quantity might reduce but will not become zero. Running around looking for someone to make you an employee is like looking for a parent.

Learn to be self employed and provide services. Our youth can spend all day browsing blogs but will not spend the time to investigate business ideas; what services are needed and what skills are in demand. Always asking questions and being lazy.

Tanks OP. this is what I have been telling unemployed graduates. drop that pride and learn a skill gone are the days when being a graduate is a big deal. I went to Abuja last year and saw how graduates are hovering every where with there certificate like vultures and I wept for this country. learn a skill and help your life!

The young man you're seeing is a craftsman.
Today he made over #10,000 just fixing keys to doors in one of the sites I'm managing.

The other day, I met a graduate whom I paid #8,000 for some odd jobs.

And that's how they make their money.

On another site, I have Mr Pedro who has been contracted to handle all tiling jobs for the entire building.

Its a block of 5 flats, he's going to fix tiles all around the building. Guess what his pay is? He's gonna earn some #210,000

I asked Mr Pedro how long its gonna take him to complete the job, he promised to hand me the keys in 5 days.

So in 6 days, Mr Pedro would have earned 210,000 for himself, I supply the water he needs, I provide all the necessary materials needed for the job.

He'll earn #210,000 for the things he can do with both his hands, all he came with was a tape and a piece of paper, he's also currently on site, but the most Important tool he wields is his cutter, spirit level, a Pincer, chisel, shovel and his working clothes.

Now this is why I've been saying you'll earn more when you have more skills than a degree.

The guy on the pics is an ND Holder, today he made some #10,000 tomorrow I will use him again and pay him almost the same amount.

Adding that up, he would have made some #20,000 in 2 days. How much does an average worker make in a month?

Some white color jobs won't even pay you up to #85,000, yet its what we read for, fight for, drink garri for, we even sleep under the cold wind at night just to grab this certificate.

To me, I think vocation is still the best no matter what. Even if we're gonna be offered some paper called certificate, let's also bag some skill along with the degree.

Degree is good, but you'll earn more with a skill. The white people that are guarded with 4 armed men, carried on a fully air conditioned hilux, treated like some god don't even have a degree.

They're white, yes but all they have is some 6 months certificate on a particular skill.

This guy showed her much care, he was always there to correct, to admonish and direct her in all she does. He would call, take her out, make her smile and show her much care. Even book's calls and text weren't sufficient anymore.

She eventually became used to the new guy and developed much bond, she could hardly remember she has a boyfriend somewhere.
Eventuality too place and she broke the oath. While studying mathematics with the new guy, they got carried away and graduated to bedmathics. She moaned, she reached orgasm, the boy sabi the thing...

It was the most wonderful touch she'd ever felt for all her years as a young Lady, intact, she wouldn't want another touch other than this, shed forgotten she had a promise, a very deadly oath she'd taken with her boo.

If only they know and understand the effects of what they're considering as a way to show love, if only they realize its a death Race with no finish line.

Now you're gonna educate your younger ones, sons, daughters, cousins and nephews about the effects of taking a blood oath, then you'll be saving lives without knowing.

Sensitize your younger ones, your sons about this thing called oath cos it takes God, a God that is in good mood to avert the effects of breaking a blood oath.
