I've just seen a man drive all the way from over 25 Kilometers away to this woman's shop for some pepper soup this morning. Having worked for the man, I had to ask him why he had to go all that far for a plate of Mama Ngozi's Pepper soup. His answer did not only shock me, it simply made me realize something. In his words, he said and I quote "The woman is just good at what she does, her shop is always neat, even though she has subordinates working under her, she ensures everything is tidy, her customer service is second to non and the pepper soup she makes is as tasty as her patience in attending to customers too" With this I just realized its totally a game of love for what she does. Yes, that's the reason why he had to drive all that far just to come and have a taste of her pepper soup. Even me, I never really liked fresh fish, I preferred then dried, maybe because I spent a lot of time with my granny, maybe because its my nature, but the day I tasted mama Ngozi's pepper soup, I wished I'd bought more than a plate. I kept waiting for a way to visit her at least twice every week (After all Chinese medicine has made it clear that its very good to eat cat fish, Nigerians are also lovers of spicy foods) Now this is the lesson from all this... When you're good at what you do, when you're a lover of her game, you put some passion in it, you make sure customer satisfaction is a must no matter what... They will search for you, yes your loyal customers, those in love with your modus of presenting your products, those in love with your product will always search for you and make sure they get to you. This would even increase the rate at which they buy... They'll get more quantities since they know its the best around. Make your product, your services your brand and brand it with love and passion, care and honesty and I promise you, you'll never lack buyers, you'll never lack in your finances. Is it your place or work, work with passion Is it your little barber shop? Barb with care and love Is it your little canteen? Cook with love and serve your customers right, they know when you're just out to sell, they know when you're out to touch their hearts. Even if its your education, learn with passion and love... And when you deal with your fellow human nko? Deal with love and care, this is what every man keeps looking for. I know you're currently at your place of work, I know you may want to grumble because your salaries are not paid, that teacher, discouraged to teach because your salary is yet to get to you? Keep teaching, you may never know where your blessing will come from. I hope you understand this? I love you all Please have a pleasant day ahead ©MrPinner 2017 |
cocaineaddict:Yes sir But it requires alot of hard work and patience |
I remember that MTH 421 Lecture, Professor Adewale walked in and wrote the topic "Advanced Calculus" on the board and sat in his sit as we discussed the topic. This is a course that's been everyone's headache in the entire class, you know among all the students in the university of (I will not mention the name of my University joor ), this MTH 421 is the most complained about. "OK class, we have read chapter 2 and 3, you can attempt all the exercise on the book and I will see you in your exams". Prof don go house oo... And that was the first and last time he ever visited the class for an entire semester. That was how we entered the hall and that was how some people sat in the hall counting the ceilings. Industrial mathematics is not a department where you come and read maths, its a place where you come and derive, equate and Integrate. We do not factorize because that's for the freshmen. But here we are. Reading mathematics. Now after all these, I'm a graduate and I actually cannot come out boldly and teach mathematics in my PPA, my students brought one serious question in polynomial, I made sure I doge all their questions because my foundation was not strong in it. Let's be frank... What do we even learn from this thing called university sef? What do we come out with? A degree? A certificate? A first class or a 2.1? And after that what else? Mtcheew, these aren't enough my dear. If you made a 2.1 or first class, its nothing if you cannot use it to better your life ooo. The one thing that'll differentiate you from the common man or that guy that didn't go to school is probably your level of reasoning, you're now exposed and you're different from those that didn't go to Mahadum. Spoken English is a bonus because even some secondary school graduates can speak better than most graduates out there. If you doubt me, visit any if these Montessori school out there, I promise you go shame go house. A university graduate that cannot even defend his certificate, is that one a graduate? Yet we are the said product of these professors known to be tough, their ratings speaks high of them and that's why some people would want to run to the class the very first time their names are mentioned. These same students would have their zeal killed when they attend the first, second and third lectures cos they actually get to understand its not worth the time. What have we learnt after all? You walk about and tell me you went to University of Portharcourt, University of Jos and all that names. These are names joor. These institutions actually have nothing to offer and if they did, the time they had something to offer has passed. I'm a graduate and I still go about looking for one job, I walk into my lecturers organization after reading about the vacancy, he personally interviews me, nods his head as he's sure I'm fit for the job, now present your credentials, I did, he after reading it, changed his mind about giving me the job. At a close by bar, he tells his friend " I can not employ any graduate of that department now, don't you know they actually know nothing"? And they laugh and laugh and laugh whereas, they're the same persons that mold these undergrads. Sometimes I do not blame these parents who spend millions for their child's education overseas. They see more than we see and na their Chi go bless them bountifully for seeking to give their kids the best education out there. Education in Nigeria is good, it was good and still good but those employed to dish this knowledge should serve the duty they're paid for and not use the many millions to raise asses. Make us assets to our Nation and not Asses. This is my own piece of mind and I am sorry if you're affected. I know a lot of you can relate to this, some would want to share but feel so shy because they never know who is reading. But the thing is, some of these people do not even know the effects of what they do to us in the lecture halls. Please share and speak your mind and be free. I know over 87% of the people on my list are graduates, I'm sorry if your university education was not like mine and I'm happy for you if you've found your dream job but for the sake of those that are yet to get there, share this. Cannot continue to breed asses instead of developing the intelligence Assets within. The fact is that the only sex education most Nigerian Parents ever knew is "the day a boy sees your pant, you'll become pregnant", Now some girl lives all her tender years believing that, now she's in her late teens and within the last few days, she's been seeing this boy, the boy likes her, she likes him too. The feeling is really very mutual and the very moment they get close, they get so drawn to one another. In the next minute, she's kissing and being kissed, she realizes a kiss feels good too, she's touched on her little boobs, she realizes it feels nice too. She continues to nod her head and because she has some small respect for her little self, she decides to leave the main game for another day. Another day, she wants to see how dead she would be since the boy had not only seen her panties but even touched beyond. The boy is breathlessly cute and each and every time he calls her name, a cold chill runs down her spine. Once again she is lonely with the guy and this time, maybe in the boys room, they touch again, kiss, caressed, she touches, he touches, she realizes her heart is beating fast, she cannot hold herself. Now she decides to have a feel of the long thing through her thighs. And ye...! After the first strokes, she's excited and left in a spot only she can explain what she's feeling right now. The thing sweet, she's still alive, she never die. Automatically she realizes mum has been lieing... Ah mummy is that how you used to do? I've been missing out all these while. Shey it is now at this stage where she has seen how much of a good liar you'll come and Begin to teach her about sex? Hmmm, even if she's good enough to listen, the things you're saying would fly in through the right ear and come right out through the left ear. As soon as you're turning your back, sheds add a "Waka", and do her mouth like this.... ( Nor be only, that thing wen sweet pass Wetin sweet na you say make I nor do abi?) The next week, she will do again, she will continue to do while you're busy thinking she's still naive about the thing. You better start teaching her when she's very young, else, only god knows what she'll become the moment she begins to sneak from her class to go and have a lick of the mango... Una good welcome back from work Hope You had a wonderful day at work Amen. I'm on Facebook too www.Facebook.com/poixonslik ©MrPinner 2017 |

In my country Nigeria, there seem to be a new way of linking everything that’s evil to the president. The Unemployed ones blame Buhari, Even SSCE holder still shout Buhari when they cannot buy airtime for their Babes. When you’re there saying no job, someone has within the last 12 months advanced to the level he never knew He’ll reach. Let me explain. After HND and NYSC, I spent a couple months at home doing nothing, these were linked with the fact that I expected something nice to come my way very soon, especially with the incoming new administration. Back then I sat home, ate whatever comes my way and did nothing, this means I earned nothing at all since I had no salary to expect or did nothing to earn any. After a series of thought, I decided to take up any job that came my way. There had been a vacancy notice in one of those corporate offices about 2 miles from home, I decided to check it out anyways. Applied as a messenger, qualified for the job after all and was later given the shock of my life. Yes it Was a shock cos I never believed I’ll be paid 10,000 for a whole month. Well, I took it after all, I just didn’t want to earn nothing at the end of the month. During my work as a cleaner, my boss discovered my skills with the computer, he had no secretary, so he always has me write his letters, have some documents typed, scan and merge some important letters also. With this extra skill, I got some tip at the end of the month adding to my 10,000 salary and I would smile home always. The thing is, its not enough, but its something, at least I’ll buy my gas, pay some bills and buy some food stuffs, weekends, I go to the sites for some bricklaying jobs after which I earn some #2500. I took the extra jobs cos I had this pressing need for a laptop of my own. I heard there are so many ways I could earn with my computer skills online and so I did everything I could to buy one for myself. So I kept up the hustle. These were enough for the moment. Later that year, another vacancy. Its was a vacancy advertisement from a federal health facility around the locality. They’re in need of a Health Attendant and being an Environmental Health Officer from what I’d studied at the polytechnic, I knew I had a bigger chance with the health sector. So I was called for an Interview, I passed the test and was qualified. I was a bit disappointed when the Employers slapped us with the greatest reality of all, yes, we have been employed as cleaners (Shey this would be corporate cleaners abi na wetin?). Out of the 5 accepted applicant, 3 quit immediately. I looked around, I scratched my head, the thing pain me sha, but I realised i was alone on this, whatever decision I make right now will determine how things turns out for the next few months since I already said goodbyes to my former place of cleaning. My younger sister had previously been offered a job in Haliburton, a company where she bags over #300,000 monthly. So I needed something to take home too. Chai! So I wear this fine blue shirt, knot tie, black trouser, with my koko shoe only to be employed as a cleaner? But what to do? I nor fit die, the pay was better than the 10k I got from my previous work place and so I accepted the offer. The next Monday, I resumed work only to be taken to the cleaning session. My brother and sisters, I scrubbed the floor, I pruned the flowers, I washed rags, those hospital dirty things, piss and blood stained clothing’s, I washed all. Some times self, some lazy relatives of admitted patients would offer a tip just to have some clothes washed for them, I had a good saving scheme from the daily tips I received. After 4 months, my arrears came, wow, #140,000, quickly, I went to Lagos and caught a very nice UK used Laptop. I got my account on Fiverr and I started hustling. The thing is, I designed my schedule with these people so I go to work only on Thursdays And Friday. I made sure I work hard on Fiverr and today, I make over $500 from Fiverr, I’m paid 30k monthly with arrears big enough to cater my needs. I live on a little stream of income, so I cut my coat according to my material, I know things will be better, I’m hopeful, the future is certainly going to be great. This is a lesson for us all, never be so quick to reject an offer cos you may never know where your best earning would be coming from. I know a graduate deserves a good pay, but sometimes you need a small pay, you need to understand the basics of management before you start earning big. No Job is ever too little for you as a young man, if I hadn’t accepted the 10k job, It wouldn’t have been easy for me to learn of the Job adverts and if I hadn’t heard of the job adverts, applied and got the job, I may not have been able to earn those arrears with which I caught my laptop and register on fiverr Platform. Always see the little things in life as a stepping stone to greater heights. I hope you understand this my friends. www.richardnwachukwu.com.ng/importance-smaller-jobs-life-beginner/ ©MrPinner 2017 |
mufutau55:Its alright... Thanks once more |
skimmy005:The motive was not to mention any other confraternity you know, the aim is to create a sharp contrast between the actual confraternity and this thing we have today called ",Yahoo yahoo"... |
Khutie:Truthfully said my brother... I understand your perspective But you also know our leaders aren't affected by this... They have the money, they can get what they want easily Unlike we the younger ones still on the grind for our own future |
mufutau55:Here is the link sir... http://buildingcontractorsecrets..com.ng/2017/03/tutorial-how-to-calculate-number-of-tiles-required-for-a-room.html |
PrinzCarter:Thank you for your comment brother... I understand your point. But I still think there is a better option Even those in junior high schools that are supposed to focus in their studies are venturing into it now |
Freeman147:Thanks for the insight sir... I appreciate your comment a lot But I would also like you to understand that the post is all about trying to compare the comments trend of today, its effects on the young and that of the real confraternity. I'm just trying to make people see why they should keep off from it sir |
ovaRAYted:Because you're either one of them or has someone who's made so much from it? |
Jozavic:Dear Jozavic Thanks for your observation The thing is really disheartening you know and i wish there is something that can be done about it |
Kingston6:Thank you so much for confirming my work i will keep bringing more |

In Respect to your questions on how some parameters were obtained on the Tutorial Post On How To Calculate the Number Of Tiles Required to Tile Your Apartment, i am going to explain a few things here... https://www.nairaland.com/3689195/tutorial-how-many-packet-floor For a start, i am going to make you understand that 400 x 400 simply means (400mm x 400mm), now this was converted to meters by dividing the 400 by 1000. Thus 400/1000 = 0.4 (0.4 x 0.4 = 0.16m2) HOW TO CALCULATE THE NUMBER OF TILES NEEDED FOR A ROOM USING THE 600 X 600 SIZED TILES Now For Mr Oladipo Tunde's Comment on my previous post, i am going to show you how you can calculate the number of tiles if your tile measures 600 x 600 (I have not really seen this kind of tiles though, but i will work it for you) Now if you have a tile measuring 600 x 600, The area of 1 tile would be 0.6 x 0.6 = 0.36m2 Now You need to know how many tiles makes up a packet for this class of tiles. How Many Tiles are there in a carton for 600 x 600 tiles? For a 600 x 600 Tiles, There are 4 pieces in a carton So if Your Room is of the same dimension as 2.5m x 2.4m, having a total area of 6m2, You need to understand that for the total area you can cover with a packet id 0.36 x 4 = 1.44m2 Now the total area of the room is 6m2 as we used on the previous post Therefore, to get the number of cartons you'll need to buy for the room, we divide the total area of the room by the area of one carton of the 600 x 600 tile So We have: 6/1.44 = 4.166 Cartons As we know, you cannot buy a fraction from the shop and so you would need to buy 5 cartons You are also going to need some pieces for the skirting which is among the many reasons why you need to buy 5 cartons. Things You Must Have In Mind When Tiling Your Room Please Note: You're also going to need some extra piece of tile for the skirting since you need skirting to make the work a perfect one. You are also going to Buy 2 Bags of Cement (Depending on the thickness of the mortar)... You are also required to hire the services of an experienced Tiler... Please If You'd like to have a complete estimate for your building, Quickly use the Details on the Contact Page to reach me and i will do this for you without wasting so much time For More Information on tiling, You want me to make an estimate for your building or connect you with a very qualified and honest Tiler within Nigeria, Please reach me on +2347035528329 Website: https://www.guardianconstructors.com/2017/03/tutorial-how-to-calculate-number-of-tiles-required-for-a-room.html ©MrPinner 2017 |
