Mr. John actually made it to through the Aptitude test, he's up for an Interview.

He's the right man for the job but there is just one thing he must do

"Come with your CV alone and be there by or before 9:25 am" - exactly what was stated in the mail sent to him.

Now it was a sunday evening, John had to go through his CV to ensure he's OK with every section of it and then he slept hoping to wake up early and prepare for his interview.

He left his CV on a side stool, very close to his bed but then something happened....

Monday Morning

John Majestically walked to his beautiful bathroom. It was a warm bath, he was in his room dressing up when his mind suddenly flashed through the needed documents for the day. It was 8:20 am

His CV!

He looked at the exact place he'd kept it the other night, it wasn't there.

He dropped his trouser, wager to find the CV he'd read a few minutes before bed time.

He couldn't find it.

Unknown to him, the super OX standing fan in his room in collaboration with Village people has blown the poor piece of paper under his bed.

He bent down and saw the CV but then, he found something else.

This wrist watch for which he'd tagged every one of his visitors a thief stood right there stating at him with those handsome blinks.

As he stretched his fingers to pick it up, his eyes caught a certain kind of paper. It may not really be a paper but something much more valuable than a piece of paper.

Oh! Its a $100 bill.

Oh my dear, guy man sat down, wiping his wrist watch and smiling all to himself as he began to predict a list of things he is going to buy with his new found $100 bill.

As he moved to pick his trouser, a call came in, it was his sweetheart, the talk continued, john pacing from the dinning to the bedroom and back to the living room again, demonstrating and laughing as well as sweet talking her.

Just by 8:52 am, he set off to the venue if his interview.

But do you know what?

He met this huge Typical Lagos traffic and before he could make it, it was 10:12 am.

And that was how he couldn't make it to a job of N4.5m annual pay.

Now you see village people?

Kofi Annan, the former UN secretary-general and Nobel Peace Prize laureate, has today passed away peacefully at age 80 after a short illness.

The Difference Between a Learner And a Student

A student is someone who studies, that is, someone who uses analytical methods to examine a subject and acquire knowledge, usually under the guidance of a teacher in an educational institution.

A learner is someone who learns something. "Learn" is usually used in the context of acquiring a skill. (rather than acquiring knowledge). So we would say: "I am learning how to swim"—not "I am studying how to swim." A person who is learninghow to swim is a learner, but not a student.

Thus, all students are learners in one sense (since acquiring knowledge increases a person's overall skills), but all learners are not students.

A simple way of understanding the difference is that a learner is a person who is in the process of acquiring practical skills, whereas a student is a person who is engaged in studying academic subjects and acquiring knowledge.

Now these are graduates that spent years studying. Even me self, welding was a part of my syllabus but I find myself wanting to learn this too.

The O'level skilled welder learnt how to weld, I studied, read and sat for the exams and obtained the result, but you see, this skilled welder will be teaching I and others

We're among those that studied.

If any of us piss this guy off eh, the way he will konk somebody or shout at you ehh. You'll just feel like bite him.

In Nigeria there is a 65% chances that you'll after those long years of study, you'll still go out there to learn again. You might even have to learn something that's totally different from what you studied in the higher institution.

When father was alive, uncles used to come around. Aunties, village people, neighbors came to greet us a lot.

They loved my mum for always making sure the home and environs is serene.

Asides that, the words from my Dad also made these people admire my mum the more.

She had her way of helping dad over come his worries, always happy and even with us, we never had a reason to frown.

During 2015 election, my Dad found himself in the middle of 2 friends fighting because their expectations didn't come to be.

Father tried to separate them from killing each other but then, they bottle they threw about struck him, he died on the spot.

After Father's burial, certain things began to happen.

My favorite uncles gradually began to hate us. First, they started with mum. She'd refused their advances to get married to one of them.

From that, it became property issues.

I watched my favorite uncles and aunts call mother funny names, some went as far as claiming she killed my father, her husband when they knew the actual event that led to the death of him.

In one or 2 occasions, as the eldest son of my father, I went to plead with my uncle to let us be, to allow mum be in peace since she'd refused all his advances.

He threw me out.

On another occasion, he chased me out with a cutlass.

I was depressed. I hated him

Now they connived with the village people. The village head, even the king supported their move. They threw us out and now mum can't afford our school fees.

The house father left behind has been taken over by my uncle and in thus house. He and his family currently live while we scramble from one farm to the other in the village looking for how to make our daily bread.

I know I'm an African, but believe it when I say I've come to hate some element of this African tradition.

Why would my own uncles throw us out from the house built by my father simply because he died pre-matured.

Are we the maker of death?
Was it mum that killed my father?

Well, these are some of the questions of the teary Ones.

Funny enough, even the best answers aren't enough yo wipe these away.

But one thing is for sure, we'll still get there Somehow.
