secondly If the car does indeed shut down if the key is removed, I highly doubt it is intentional and bet it is a malfunction or design flaw. I know for a fact the first generation FX continues to run even if the intelligent key is removed from the car and out of range. I highly doubt Infiniti would design the 2nd generation such that it will shut down if the key is removed (or not detected),happen even if it only occurs as the car comes to a stop.
