Hello
Is there anyone interested in a room in a 2 bedroom flat? It's a nice apartment I got on Addo Road, Ajah (very close/trekkable to the bridge). Both rooms are ensuite, water is good, kitchen is spacious, estate road is good too and NO "rivers" to cross 😀.

Glithronix: Nigerian government will always wait till die-minute before responding to issues, na one of the problems wey I get with dem be this. Bad roads - bad roads everywhere!
From my own stats, 80% of the traffic that always breathes on lekki - Epe express (to & from) is caused by bad roads.
Wait, can you just see the conditions of the roads now? I can't imagine a working government sitting down and be watching his state deteriorating. From lekki 1st round-about ni oooh (to & fro). Another one that requires immediate attention is the traffic lights junction opposite Civic Center linking to Ademola Adetokunbo. Same with the entry to Ozumba Mbadiwe when exiting Bonny Camp round-about. What does this government gain from waiting for roads to damage completely before attending t9 them? To loot?
Imagine the Chevron Junction condition when you are coming from the 2nd tollgate. Same with Jakande, infact all the junctions on lekki-Epe express way to and fro.
These things didn't happen overnight, they started gradually and we say we have government. Everywhere don damage finish. I can't even imagine how comfortable this government feels with this.
Lagos and Nigerian government are a continual failure.
We are really suffering in this country.
Spits on their heads! I was just coming here to lament the road conditions I decided to wait and read previous missed pages... you've spoken my mind. See that igbo efon side coming from lekki... The clusters of deep potholes. The same stupid potholes that ruined 2 of my tires on the right side. As you deh dodge crazy drivers, you dey dodge potholes too. 65% of destinations riders will take you to, you'll either swim or come out with shaky legs. They (the government) just make life unnecessarily hard... pretty sure 95% of lagos traffic are caused by bad roads (imagine that circle mall own too), the other 5% na agbero, danfo/korope and accidents. |

Hello
So while heading home on Friday I noticed my car wasn't braking well. I had to step on it with more force than usual and even at that, it's deceleration was slow (very unusual). I parked and checked my brake fluid to be sure and upon opening I noticed it was overflowing (just as if it was bled).
It was on the expressway and at midnight so I just drove it home like that. On the way home, I noticed my D light blinking green (instead of just being stable green) and just as I was backing into the house the N light came on too. Upon parking, the P light is on (which is normal), the D light is blinking green and the N light is stable red.

Get something cheaper, the idea is to NOT incur too much capital when starting the Hussle, to be able to atleast break even on time ...Though, the matrix is suited for the job in terms of fuel consumption, am not sure about the ruggedity tho...it's not a bad machine and I love it's feminine outlook. Twice I've had flat tyre in the middle of the night
1st it was around 2 mid night in 3MB right at Adeniji bus stop heading to Gbagada, I was with a female rider in a Saturday morning... I paid 4k only
2nd, was at Ikeja along bus stop... I only paid 1k here

In those two occasions, I simply brought out my s*o*e with lighter... The rest na story.

Sorry about your experience bro It's part of the hustle Exactly what I did when it happened to me just before second toll gate towards ajah. Had a female rider she was already lamenting about being robbed in the same spot before. As I dey loose tire to change am, I spotted 3 of them crossing over from that chevron side... Entered car back, carry my lighter and s*o*e too, put for mouth, change shoe to crocs, went back to what I was doing. Na them finish the tire change job for me, borrowed them lighter to light up too, laughed together while changing tire and gave them 1k and begged that they give me 500 change back (they did). |

On the highway 6, I got a flat tyre and I parked beside the yellow emergency lane.
To my greatest surprise, cops showed up. I was so afraid that omo na wahala be this…. 😔😔 A Lagos hustler will relate to this kind of thing.
Cop:- you speaks English??
Me: yes I do
Cops:- you got extra tyre 🛞 in there?
Me: yes I do officer
Cops:- we will help you fix it you looked tired 😴 have this water.
I wanted to cry 😢 seeing the humanity in them…
They didn’t asked me anything than this and still gave me water to drink.
I remembered how my own brothers were treating me back home, I couldn’t hold my tears back.

MrCarter577: It's a Nigerian thing, common especially with Nigerian women, who will order ride, call U then go back to make up for 30mins. You can never beg white people to come out; they monitor movement and would be at the exact PU spot before you arrive. There is no lie here It's mostly women that do the delay, foreigners and men almost never delay you, in fact they are already there waiting for you. When I used to order ride too, I always monitored the driver and made sure I was waiting and waving/flagging him down as he approaches. |

Doris4ever: Target 30k - 35k daily gross. After fuel and app commission you should have 20k daily take home. So if you work Monday - Saturday, then you should net 120k or at worse case 100k weekly. But don't forget to save for repairs. Because your car MUST be in good condition at all times. Exactly how I set my target o I was even thinking I was aiming too high, perhaps I should reduce as I'm not driving fully yet. But I tend to make around 25-30k daily... 18k fuel in at least 2 days |

If u speed, u reach ur destination faster, and u burn more fuel. In both scenarios, u lose money. Never been a fan of speeding while on within town trips.
U probably don't appreciate the car because u started with a hybrid. That 30litres fuel u use for 2 and half days, many people use it or more on a full days job. The way they allow people build houses anyhow without proper planning in Lagos is ridiculous. - No drainage consideration - No parking space etc The greedy and senseless landlords and developers too. Why would government approve a plan to build e.g, 4 - 8 flats on half plot of land without provisions for even 2 car park space? Be like this thing pain you well well Same as my house, that one worst. All of us park in one straight line, so if the person inside pata pata wants to go out, he or she has to wake all of us to come and reverse . We don dey carry key give ourselves now, I dey plan use one of them car scratch small, then them no go ever carry key give me |
