Politics › Re: Jonathan Is A Superior Presidential Material To Buhari - By Femi Aribisala by mrrock: 12:40pm On Feb 04, 2015
Buhari said in 2003: “Muslims should only vote those who will promote Islam". South west, when will you people open your eyes.

Can you see your life? First you protest against his age, now it's about his qualifications? So there's a real difference between 70 and 73 huhLike I said I won't argue with you too much, age is useless when compared to experience.
Unfortunately, you're consistently missing the point.

Listen.

Buhari is not a presidential material.

1. He's not educated.
2. He's too old at 73 to rule Nigeria.

Goodbye!.

Google Ronald Reagan and find out how old he was when he was president or Prime minister Jong of Netherland(99yrs old) or Napolitano of Italy or Peres of Isreal, my guy do your research and see how age is not a factor. Age has nothing on your quality of leadership, in Nigeria we are focused on worthless things such as age, religion and ethnicity when the real qualities we should be looking at is experience, communication and effectiveness.
.

Every one you listed here was educated, unlike Buhari a semi illiterate that can only boast of WASC (secondary school certificate).

Also let me inform you we're in 2015 brother. Those people can no longer rule their country today. The world order have changed since 2001.

By-the-way, Regan was born in 1911 and became president in 1981 at age 70 not 73 like your Buhari.

Perez is a ceremonial head of state. The real ruler of Israel is Benjamin Netanyahu. Get your facts right.

The other you from Netherlands you mentioned is too archaic to get a mention here. The world have changed as I told you.

Sho gbadun, did I inform you that I'm okay with Buhari's age? I'm trying to tell you that by your definition of youth, they are both disqualified. However seeing that we don't have a choice but to vote for one of them, I would rather vote for the experienced machine capable fo tacking Boko Haram, not a figurehead who would rather negotiate with them!
Unfortunately, Buhari when he was your age have already done his best for Nigeria and have nothing more to offer today. Good luck with your choice though.

By-the-way, can you list me names of prosperous democratic countries with presidents at 73?.

By your reasoning, even GEJ is too old to be president. The fact remains that most youths in this country are still not capable of leadership and whether we like it or not, the elecion is between a clueless president with 6 years of mediocrity or a proven general with experience and momentum on his side, vote wisely and shine your eyes!
Very funny how you call a 50 years plus Jonathan an old man whereas a 73 years old man is perfectly ok by you. Sometimes, I wonder whether you people think in reverse order.
You can as well go to your village and vote the oldest man there as the next president of Nigeria. I think that would be very good since age doesn't matter.

This is a democratic government, Buhari will not be alone. He's surrounded by technocrats. Unlike PDP.

Did you say 90% of Nairalanders are more educated than Buhari? Fallacy!
At 90% I'm actually being very conservative. The only thing Buhari say he have (which he's yet to prove) is WASC which is a secondary school leaving certificate.

1). 90% of Nairalanders are more educated than Buhari.
2). 60% of Nairalanders are more qualified to be president of Nigeria than Buhari.

2. Yes, I've been brainwashed he overthrew the democratically elected government of Shehu Shagari.
3. Yes, I've been brainwashed to believe he's 73 years old and old to be president of a great country like Nigeria.

Politics › Buhari To Ban Facebook & Twitter In Nigeria, If Elected. by mrrock(op):
In a BBC interview Muhammadu Buhari not (Mohamed Buhari) have justified heavy crackdown on the media. He maintained that the media could be a distraction to government, even if they are reporting the truth.

Asked, what if the media is reporting the truth about a corrupt government official?. He maintained such media house must be cautioned, if it's a distraction to government. Affected media houses will include newspapers, TV stations, radio stations. And in this day of social media where we get information at the speed of light sites such as Facebook, twitter, Nairaland, badoo, skype, linkedin, BBM, e.t.c would not be an exemption. He have already petitioned the NTA and AIT for speaking their mind, details at http://sunnewsonline.com/new/?p=102766 .You can then imagine what he will do, if he becomes president.

Firefire:
Goodluck to Buhari as he defends his lies in the court.

- Certificates with the Secretary of The Military Board

- Sworn Affidavit of Oath to support the above

- Military denied keeping original certificates of their employees (For Buhari WASC: No originals, no CTC copies, nothing)

- Buhari alma mata released an alleged fake O ' level result

- Cambridge said they can share candidate data only on instructions from candidate.

- WAEC claimed no Buhari's data exist in their records

- Bola Tinubu allegedly said " Either Buhari have
certificate or not he is qualified"

"Buhari should apologise to Nigerians and report himself to the nearest police station for forgery and perjury" PDP

The case shall be decided by the court.
In a clean country, Buhari would have hanged himself by now out of shame. But not in Nigeria where anything goes.
Over the years we were made to believe he also possess a masters degree in some military fields but as the certificate scandal keeps opening wider nobody talks about his other supposed big degrees which he've been peddling over the years. Even the minimun WASC he now lean on could not be provided. That man is just a common criminal.
I'm sorry for Nigerians.

You have to factor in the population of that state and the insecurity. Many people simply cannot afford to turn up to such rallies for fear of bomb blast. Jonathan have been stoned previously in such places by our very peaceful northern muslin brothers and sisters.

No, I'm not with you on this one. That he is contesting the third time is a clear enough reminder to him that he cannot possibly be a maxim ruler and that those tyranical genes are simply gone. He will have to negotiate and seek consensus on just about everything and this is where I fear for the over reaching, over confident, excitable electorate. It may not happen, it may not happen fast and it may not happen as expected.
Unfortunately, your fears are based on facts. Buhari have no idea Nigeria of today is no longer the Nigeria of the 80's where a single man or the north had maximum authority over Nigeria. He's coming in as a military man with tyrannical tendencies. Remember he or his crew were the one that said they "will make the country ungovernable, if Jonathan win'' the last election. Another comment credited to him is inciting his followers to "kill them" if they can't allow them protect their votes.
Further, he said in one more speech that "the blood of monkeys and baboons" shall litter the street. This doesn't sound to me like a reformed person as you contemplated.

All these reveals the mind of a dictator.

Buhari's regime was a brutal government and nobody (corrupt or non corrupt) had freedom of any sort. A man who unseated a democratically elected government of Shehu Shagari and ruled with maximum tyranny on the disguised slogan of war against indiscipline- WAI.

Why all these noise?
Take him to court if you care.
Else, allow us focus on making sure a 'probable' SSCE holder doesn't become the face of Nigeria.
Doesn't Buhari know Doyin Okupe?. Doesn't Buhari know Femi Kayode?.
Why can't Buhari himself sue Doyin or FFK for defamation of character?. It can work either ways.

You think Buhari have any certificates to show and he never asked Cambridge or approach WAEC for his results?

Jonathan have already won the election. Forget about the fanfares, it's just customary. There's no party in Nigeria at the moment that can beat PDP at the national level.
