RomanceRe: Distant Relationships: Does It Work Better? by mrsb(f): 4:21pm On Mar 12, 2009
It's really hard (and expensive). I guess it's a bit easier now with skype, IM etc but still a chore. There will always be major trust issues and a slightly off conversation can cause massive drama. Been there, done that. Do not plan to go there again! Its nice to have some space sometimes but not so much.

RomanceRe: My Husband Cheated On Me by mrsb(f): 2:03pm On Mar 12, 2009
@Poster - I admire your ability to give him a 2nd chance. Major concern is not even the cheating but without condoms?! Thats f'ed up.

@Leilah - WTF??!?! Is that your only angle. You keep popping up saying "dress up" "go out clubbing" "stop him drinking". Is he a child? He is a grown man. You cannot keep a man on lockdown unless you really want to piss him off. If he is a good person (the jury is still out on this one) then its ok for him to let off some steam and have a few drinks with his mates. Men don't like to be suffocated by their wives.
FamilyRe: Guys Would You Take Your Wife To A Joint? by mrsb(f): 1:00pm On Mar 12, 2009
As a wife, I like going occasionally - just often enough to feel included but it does get pretty boring after a while. I think if you never take your wife, thats when she'll want to go!

"women are made to be loved, not understood"

RomanceRe: Who Do You Prefer - Foreign Or Naija Lady? by mrsb(f): 3:17pm On Mar 11, 2009
Each to his own I guess. I asked my hubby (Nigerian) why he married me (I'm white) and he said because he fell in love with me. Period. So simple innit!?
grin
FamilyRe: Why Do Married Men Have Affairs? by mrsb(f): 2:46pm On Mar 11, 2009
Well, from what I've seen, most men need variety and an ego boost. I have a friend who on paper is the perfect wife but her husband still has girlfriends - none as pretty, intelligent or as classy as his wife. Even worse, he really does love his wife and kids.

I personally feel that men are the weaker sex when it comes to infidelity and temptation. Women (especially in Nigeria) are very devious and manipulative and they put themselves on a plate. How many times can a guy turn down a freebie?! Especially when they are totally and utterly wankered after heavy drinking on a Friday night.

We just gotta pray for them all - apparently its "destructive behaviour" and its addictive. Lol, or so a Pastor's wife told me. We should pray for the husbands and also for the Ho's (!!) - not an easy task.
RomanceRe: Men: Cheating: Internet by mrsb(f): 2:35pm On Mar 11, 2009
~Sauron~:
What i cannot seem to belly about these women is the fact that they come here to bash Naija men when things go tits up.
When everything was rosy. . . . .when the Naija dude was buying diamonds for em, taking em out to posh restaurants and doing the right thing. . . .we don't see em coming here to give em credits.
@ Sauron - I am not here to bash!! I love my Naija Man, he is a soldier amongst men and treats me with more respect than an english guy ever would.

@ Bridget - the bible says love never gives up - if you really love then you need to get on your knees girl,
