Please, make we dey talk true for here Abeg.
You do biometrics 20th of April and you don kolet your passport back, if no be priority, no be juju be dat?

I did mine April 19, no show yet.

And I would lie because?? Please be guided. This is why some people never post here. Check the screenshots below and tell me if it’s juju or not.

For those genuinely asking, it was a 5 year standard visit visa application, non-priority. I was surprised myself as I got a mail that it had gotten to the UK visa section on the 26th, and then this collection mail a week later. My husband had the same timeline.

Hello USMissionNGRA

Is it wrong to apply for a B1/B2 visa when one has an F4 immigration petition pending (which will not be current for at least 10 years)

We were denied our tourist visa for this reason and we are wondering why we cannot visit the US for vacation just because we have an immigrant petition whose processing will take q very long time to complete

Thank you

Hello.

Is there any rule about entering Brazil within 90 days of receipt of visa for Nigeria? I think I saw something like that online

Adjo10:

Hi Graceee. I will break your question into 2 parts for a better explanation. There is 1. The validity of the Visa and 2. The amount of time you can stay in Brazil withing 1 year.

1. The validity of the Visa

To the best of my knowledge, the validity of a Brazilian visa can rage from 1 month to 10 years. Factors determining the validity of the visa ranges from reciprocal agreement between your country and Brazil for example USA and Brazil issue 10 year visas to each other citizens. For most countries, visa are issued for 1 year. You can also be issued a 1 month visa if the visa officer has reasons to suspect the motive of your travel. (Please note that even with all this, the visa officer has the power to modify the validity even with country agreements). This is not common.

2. The amount of time you can stay in Brazil withing 1 year

No matter the validity of your visa, you are not permitted to stay in Brazil for more than 180 days withing 1 year. (90 days and extension for another 90 days while in Brazil). Of course if your visa is valid for 1 months, you can only stay for a month. This case is very rear. The only exception to the 180 day rule is with EU citizen who enter Brazil visa free but cannot stay for more than 90 days in 1 year.

I hope your question was answered. Thanks

Lagos. Self Application. VIP

However, from what I was told at VFS during my application, there are 3 priority types (with 3 different colours put in your application bag by the VFS officers when processing). One is for employees of some specified corporates, another is for applicants with previous SA visas, while the 3rd is for those not in any of those categories. The first category is the fastest, followed by the 2nd and then the last.
This impacts application timelines as well.

Was your visa refused because you paid low amount or some other reasons?

My visa was refused because the amount was low. She actually told me i should have done more research to know that the bill was low when i asked why the embassy didnt point it out

Told her that was the going rate in Houston as I got several bills before deciding on WHMC.

She then said a decision had already been made.

I don't believe that the American embassy is targeting Nigerians regarding this birthing issue, we all know what the problem is here though some are playing a blinder.

How many people here have gone for an interview, declare child birth, present burden of proof, VO was convinced and issued a visa then you traveled , gave birth and paid exactly or above that amount you presented to VO during your interview and was unable to renew that visa?

I have lost count of how many times people come here to ask for cheap hospital or birthing centre after getting a visa, if you convinced the VO that you planned to spend $10-15K and got the visa but you decided to go for cheap and cheerful option then don't expect to get that visa renewed.

I totally disagree with you on this. I obtained my medical visa with an Oakbend budget, and eventually used WHMC (which was almost USD 2,000 higher than the bill I presented at the embassy). And my visa renewal was still refused. This is my bone of contention with the embassy as it makes absolutely no sense!

Hello @shallypop

Please did you apply for the visa while already showing?

What documents did you use and was it tourism or childbirth application?

I applied for a visa renewal about 3 weeks ago and I've just been told to schedule a follow-up appointment
However, earliest follow-up appointment is in Feb 2019.

I intend to make the trip in Dec. How can I get an earlier date please?

Hello LagosNIV

My husband's brother filed a F4 petition for him in 2016 and I was listed as a derivative beneficiary.

I am preparing to renew my US B1/B2 visa now

1) Does the F4 petition reduce our chances of getting a B1/B2 renewal, as our case won't be current for about another 10 years

2) When answering the DS-160 Question "Has anyone ever filed an immigrant petition on your behalf with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services?", should my answer be Yes or No, as I am not the direct beneficiary of the petittion

Thank you

hello onegai Please can you add me to the Lekki group? Thanks

Onegai:
So, concerning the book buy, Kidco has explained everything to me and here is what we discussed:

1. 50 books for N12,000
2. Shipping charges range from N700 to N1500 depending on your location
3. He can mix up the books according to age. So mamas, you can buy books in the age 0-5 years group, 0-3 years group, 6-12 years group, 0-6 years group

Yaba mums (rofemiguwa, Adeime, rhukie and cutiereborn), your total is N13,000 (12+N1000 shipping). You will end up paying N3,250 for 12-13 books per person. That's a good deal. If you agree, pls nominate one person from your group to collect payment and also collect the books from Kidco. May I suggest Rofemiguwa because she is working in Yaba which means her address is probably easiest to find for all of you?
And if you are interested, please drop your location and mention me. Thanks.
Here are pictures of the baby books Kidco sent.

Congrats on your successful missionary journey, may the joy last forever. Pls is the proof of flight in 2wks for mother only or one must have booked ticket for the baby also, and if one's flight is in like 3wks where can one process from? Then how soon can one book an appointment at the passport office? Thanks.

if your flight is within a month and you'll need visa (e.g. your baby will need Nigerian visa on their passport to travel to Nigeria), they'll also attend to you

Guys, please lets be wary of telling even little lies at the POE. A colleague's wife was sent back from Etihad POE on sunday for lying that she did not know anyone in the US when asked. She was told to put on her phone and the last dialled no was a yankee no, who they later found out was her distant relative; and she was turned back.
