No, you can’t send transcript yourself to wes. Transcripts are to be sent to wes directly from the school without any tampering. It will be dishonored if you do

Kampack:
Hello house,
I have a transcript issued some years ago. I wanted to use it for my postgrad admission but requested for 2 copies because I was applying to two different institutions that didn't mind me sending it to them. I eventually used only one. However, I kept the other copy safe and secure, believing that it might, one day, be useful. It's still very neat and in a securely stamped evelope from my university. Can I send this to WES just to speed up the process? Would it be honored? I just fear the waiting times and excuses from our universities that I have read on this thread

CIMA CIMA. A lot of us are struggling with it but a lot of us are scaling through.

Niini20:
Gurus in the house all I see is CIMA and BCS as certificate to boost CRS, please is there any other short course that can be taken in HR.

UNILAG HRDC won't start until some time in July and it's a nine month program, I can't wait.

I feel CIMA is all about calculations and I'm not superb with calculations, I don't have a background in accounting, finance or banking. All I have is a BSc in psychology.

BCS has its next in take September and I'll be 30 in Oct can't afford to loose any point.

Please what certified course can I take between now and September so I'll have time to prepare for IELTS.

Suggestions please.

Hello. I have already done those. Can I request a certificate?
Ola2j:

Do the foundation in professionalism module. Not ethics and professionalism. If you do the fip, you'd be issued with a certificate in accounting and business within 48 hours

Hello. Thanks for this info. Please what did Acca send to Wes for verification? I did fi to f6 and i want to use as 2nd degree. Acca is saying no certificate. Please help

Ola2j:
For anyone trying to get an extra certificate, you can do acca diploma (f1-f3) and wes evaluates it as one year college level certificate. I got my ECA today and that was what was written there.

Yes, people have used CIPM to claim 2 or more certificates. You are good to go

FunmilolaGold:
Hello
Please house I have a quick question.
I’ve seen some other threads with people saying CIPM evaluation with Wes gives 3 year Canadian degree equivalent.
I have a B.sc and CIPM though i just processed my transcripts to Wes for evaluation recently.
Can i apply with 2 certificates( CIPM + B.Sc) and get extra points with my CIPM certificate?

I wanted to apply as a couple with a friend but he hasn’t completed his masters. If i’ll be the Principal applicant i need to be sure i’ll get points with my CIPM.
I’ll appreciate a response on what to do. Thank you

With your Age and degree, you should be at 465. There is really nothing much that can be done except french or masters..: a miracle draw can happen also

Vavi:
Hi All

I'm a newbie on this thread. Learnt a lot from you all.

I'm 31, married with 2/more degrees. I've written IELTS and gotten a 8.5,8,7.5,6.5 LRSW. Awaiting remark on the writing. If the remark plays out favourably, i will be at 460+.

I've imagined various scenarios using the CRS tool to attain 470+ but it requires that I have Canadian experience, have a Canadian sibling, a job or provincial nomination which I don't have. Elders in the house, how does one attain a 470+ score in this day?

No, its not compulsory for him to have educational details. His wife’ is sufficient. Although she may need a second degree considering crs scores of late

pearlobi:
Please I need answers from Seniors here. I have an Uncle who has no certificate, he didn't have a formal education, but he is literate. His wife has a BSc in Marketing. She'll be 31 this year.

They really want to migrate. His wife will be the primary applicant. I want to know if he'll be required to submit educational details or if his wife's own is enough.

Yes previous job counts as experience as long as it is within the last 10years.
Iyanu6000:
Hello People,

I would like to confirm, the work experience...My husband is a doctor, he worked at different hospitals before he finally started his house job.
Would this count as part of the experience? Because someone said the experience would count only on the current job.

What you have is 2 or more certificate. So pick that.

Hakyntommy:
Hello house...please I'm new here. My highest qualification is a post graduate diploma and I've got it evaluated by WES( including my BSC). I am trying to fill my express entry profile but I'm not seeing any PGD just BSC and Masters. Can I pick masters instead? Thanks.

Note: WES equated my PGD as PGD Canadian equivalent

Wait for 2 more draws. You have days to chill. Except you really dont mind OINP and d $1500 you have to pay

alanpozar:
Hello house,

So I got an invitation to apply for provincial nomination in the OINP draw that took place last Thursday. Now my dilemma is based on today's draw of 470, is it advisable to go ahead to apply for the provincial nomination or just wait for the EE draw to come down further.

PS- CRS Score is 469

Also I have 45 days to apply for the nomination which started counting last week.

Thanks

Chill a while. You have 45days for OINP. Except you dont mind paying $1500. Wait till 2 more draws (30days) then if no hope, take it.

AyabaS:
Not sure what to make of this draw o. 4500 ITAs and score is still 470. Could be good news in the long run or an indication of bad things to come.

Proceed with Oinp or chill a while. Decisions! decisions! Currently at 469.

CIMA is done all year round. Result is known immediately. Transcript and certificate out 6weeks after final paper.

BCS is done March and September. Certificate out in about 3months after paper.

Noun is 1year or so (not sure)

I will say go for CIMA. If a paper is failed, it can b rewritten immediately depending on person. But BCS you hv to wait till d next month it id being written. Imagine failing in march and waiting till September to rewrite.

Agbeni33:
House please which one is more faster in order to increase CRS within short period of time.
1. CIMA
2. BCS
3. NOUN masters program

Any other relevant information is highly welcome

I think you should redo Ielts. Your wife as PA with a 461 doesnt cut it in this current crs cutoff we see. Max out Ielts, 480 is a better score.

dCounsel:
Hello house,

Good morning to all. Been a silent reader for some days now. I must confess that I joined Nairaland because of this thread few days ago.

I want to seek an advice from the more experienced please. Myself and my wife have done our ECA already and we have the reports with us. My IELTS results is L8 R6 S7.5 W8. Hers is L8 R9 S8 W7. We both have age on our side. I have about 6 years experience related to my NOC, she has about 2years 9 months related to her NOC while about 6 months not directly related. If I am the PA, our CRS is 422 due to the reading score in IELTS, if she is the PA, the CRS is 461 due to experience not up to 3 years in her NOC. We do not intend to go through the route of PNP. We want to explore EE squarely.

My questions?
1. Can we add the other 6 months experience as part of the 3 years required for her or it has to be strictly related to her NOC?

2. Do we advise that I re do my IELTS and aim for an higher score so that if I am the PA with a better results, our CRS will be around 480 thereabouts?

3. Can I open EP with her as the PA for now then decide to delete it later if we decide to use me as the new PA after my IELTS?

Thank you for your awaited responses.

Do BCS. Since you are a computer science grad. That will add just 32points tho. So you will need another means to get it to 470. But start that now

Thank you, I just checked, and it’s around 430.

I think you should just be a bit patient (if your birthday isnt too close). 468 is not bad and any moment from now, you can get ITA.

Uchboggy:
Hi guys , my score of 468 (me and my wife) seems to be hard to get these days , I wanna go alone as unaccompanied spouse before my birthday but that part of the form is refusing to edit. Is it that you can’t edit that once you submit your profile or what? Do I need to start a fresh application?

Don’t bother remarking listening.

Collineno:

Why did you advise him not to remark the result? Have you encountered similar?

Also, would you advise someone with LRSW - 7, 7, 7.5,7 with IDP MOD to remark listening?
I need 8 in listening but got 7. Please advise because I am tempted to remark only listening

Why don’t you do CIMA instead. Its all year round instead of waiting till September. Then wait another 6/7weeks for certificate.
MzGiwa:
Hi guys,

I'm here again o. Please assist me. I want to send my BSC to WES for evaluation but i am intending to take the BCS exam by September, since the next exam in march is too close already (i'm scared to take it as i dont have IT background). my question is if i pay 225CAD now to evaluate my uni BSC , when i have the BCS result , will i still have to pay another 225CAD for that to be evaluated too?

Use Hellofax for your certificate. Its free. Google it. For transcript, send your school the completed WES form (i am sure they know what to do).

Harmonyemerald:
Hi, good morning. I am a newbie to the EE process. I just created a profile on Wes on Monday. I think the next process is to send the photocopy of my B.sc and other certificate to them.

1. Which courier service is recommended as I plan to send it tomorrow or is there another means of sending to them digitally

2. I always want to process my transcript from my university, how do I ensure it gets to Wes and that my reference number is clearly written on it

Just need someone to guide me through this process

Thank you

Be patient and prayerful. From what we heard AOR from late 2018 have started getting PPR from AVO...so am sure you are next in line.

ausn:
Hello everyone, I'm pretty new on this platform and must confess I've found it very informative. Kudos to the admin and brain behind this initiative.
Anyone with an update or any news emanating from Accra Visa Office? Has anybody received PPR from there lately?
I called CIC today and they referred me back to AVO for specific details on my file. The CSEs and emails sent to them usually return a generic response "file in queue for review". My AoR was March 2019.
Thanks

CIMA. Noun has several cases of delays.
BCS is written twice in a year (March and September or so, and you cant meet March anymore i think)

Cima is all year round.
