I am in pains!

Just checked my IELTS results and I had 7.5 in listening, still don't know how.
LSRW : 7.5,7.5,8,7.5 overall 7.5

However, I need the magic 8 in listening...
with this score i'll be on 415, but the 8 in listening will take me to a whooping 473 is it advisable to remark only listening? I really don't want to take this exam again and I dont have time either.

Your score should be higher if she has Msc. Did you evaluate your own result and write ielts? That should add about 25-30 points more. And that will get you ITA in no time.

Do your tax clearance. Plus the other evidence you have, they will be fine. Since you are younger, you should be the PA.

Note I have people who have engaged my services who will be willing to write a reference for me and I have A registered certificate with corporate affairs commission. Just the tax evidence. But I have some trade permit receipt and utility receipt.
My Question
Will they be valid to proof my work experience? Cos that will give me an advantage.
If not what can I do to claim the experience as I'm not yet in the pool. I'm just going to do my ECA after which I'll do ielts. Just feeding myself with info to know how to prepare for better CTS points.

Yes you need to send both certificates (scanned) to WES. Use Hellofax (check google)

Use the Dom account and your normal naira account. Plus the gift deed. You will be fine.

Hello guys, I need a clarification on something.

I am getting a gift deed from my dad in USD, however I only just opened a domiciliary account in December in which that said amount was deposited last week solely for this purpose, though I already have an existing Naira account with the same bank. So I just got an ITA in the last draw, can I use only the bank statement from the dom account I just opened or do I need to attach my Naira bank statement which has not tangible sum in it but shows an activity in the past 6months?

I believe that should serve as 2 or more certificate. Diploma is a certificate plus your BSC (which is at least 3 years) You are good to go.

If you have OND and HND you dont need BCS. That is 2 certificates already. The only improvement is a master or PHD degree. You are already 2 or more certificate. BCS wont be useful in that regard.

Hello. Start your WES verification for your OND and HND (you have 2 ‘or more’ certificates). Also start reading for IELTS.

I believe you have checked if you are eligible for express entry (you most likely are)

Once WES and Ielts is out you can then submit your express entry profile.

Enter the pool. You should also consider certifcate courses like CIMA and BCS. They will give you 32 more points.

With the current CRS trend of 471 at this time. I decided to register for a masters but I will not complete it until Jan of 2021.
With a masters my score will go up to 478/ 482 but with the current rise in CRS score I am afraid that by the time I enter the pool in 2021, 478 may no longer be a competitive score

What do you advise I do, do I abandon the masters and start looking at provincial nomination or what ? Also should I enter the pool now with my current score while waiting for the MSC ?

I had made a solid arrangement for the transcript & certificate to be sent together to WES as I did provided the school a photocopy. I also follow-up on the courier agent to ensure all is done perfectly & given a positive feedback. After WES earlier acknowledging receiving the document (s). I'm surprised to see a new update needing certificate.

Hello. Nice score. Your ITA is sure once you enter the pool.

For work experience, calculate the entire period you worked. Partime work is still valid as long as you were paid (letter from company, bank statement to show salary or payslips).


For POF, you can send to your sister. Her birth certificate, change of name, pics of both of you is enough proof of connection (should that be needed).

You can also just do tbill or mutual funds immediately so money is chilling before entering the pool and ITA.

I studied architecture and I have a firm I've been working with since I graduated in 2014, though worked as a part time employee during my masters degree and I can get a letter stating that I've been with the firm since 2014. Do I need to provide any other document attesting to my work experience or will the letter suffice? Also, should I subtract the years I spent getting my masters degree or can I just count from 2014 please?

POF is ready and I don't know the best way to go about this to avoid unneccessary delays. I've gone through the post and I've seen that a lot of people use the gift deed and treasury bill. I'm a bit naive about how this works and I would appreciate any insight I can get. I intend transferring the money to my sister's account and sending to one of my less busy accounts then do a gift deed (still don't know how this works) before investing in treasury bill but her surname is different from mine since she's married so I don't know if this will be am issue. Also, should I invest in TB before creating an Express entry profile or do that while in the pool awaiting ITA; which is best?

Both your Msc is sufficient. From the top of my head, your points is above 470 already with Msc. So just go ahead and use Msc as highest degree. Start verifying both and start reading for Ielts. Whoever scores best in ielts will be PA. Dont wait till june.
