MsDarkSkin: Exactly. In fact most men find their counterparts begging as a sign of desperation.
You think any sane man wants a desperate woman? And if he does take her back..he will play the HELL out of her like an XBOX console. wink The guilty men on this thread who like to play with women claim it's tradition. BULL. If it were tradition and African women heed to it as "law", there would be no reason for this thread. But as you can see, most sensible African women see right through the bull. Cooking for, nurturing and being a wife to your man doesn't and shouldn't mean being a damn fo0l.
Exactly Sis! kiss kiss kiss

There is nothing wrong with a woman being a good wife to her husband ONLY IF SHE HAS A GOOD HUSBAND. I tell women this all day and long....I am good to my husband because he is good to me. Why would I have a problem with that?

Now if Chima was treating me all kinds of ways and having me crying all days of my life...you think I AM GOING TO BEG HIM TO STAY? huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh

GIRL! YOU JUST GOT ME WARMED UP!

luckgames: It's not about begging but making things work
I am sure we know the type of person we can beg or not beg
You beg some people that will give they the advantage to step all over you
Begging and being two matured adults conversing to improve the condition within the relationship or marriage ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. What the OP's original statement was begging a man not to leave the house as if it is something women should do to keep her man.

If the conversation was about maturity and being sane adults then my comments would have been different.

I am all for having conversations with my husband to ensure all communications are good and that we are on the same page. I don't support closed mouths because closed mouths do not get fed period.
Romance › Re: Can You Go Down On Your Knees To Beg A Man Not To Leave? by MrsChima(f): 7:55pm On May 21, 2012
luckgames: They don't have to play the begging
But they will play the single game
Wise women would rather be single than to beg a man that doesn't want them.

Lets keep it real.

And even if all women begged and stayed with the men. There are more women than men....
SO THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SINGLE WOMEN. undecided
Romance › Re: Can You Go Down On Your Knees To Beg A Man Not To Leave? by MrsChima(f): 7:51pm On May 21, 2012
i think a lot of people are getting it twisted....

You can beg a man to stay with you all day long but it will not CHANGE HOW HE FEELS about you, the marriage, the relationship, and being in the same presence with you. It is a reason why people LEAVE and if nothing was an error or wrong then they wouldn't BE LEAVING PERIOD. COMMON SENSE.

If you are in the wrong....then do what you have to do to make your marriage work.....however DO NOT BE A FOOL just so you can say you have a man.

Some women needs to learn their self worth and learn that they deserve. Decide what you wants to be.....a rug or a purse.
Romance › Re: Did You Pop The Question To Him? by MrsChima(f): 7:42pm On May 21, 2012
drnoel: sorry but there is no place it is clearly written that a man should be the one proposing.
There is nothing in my comments that even suggested that men should be the only one proposing! I said that traditionally men are the ones that propose to the women and I ALSO exclaimed that I AM AGAINST TRADITIONS!!

Pay attention! Damn!

silentlywild: I know Men say they like to still be free after marriage but, didnt they make those promises infront of the pastor to stay by their woman for better or for worse. Why is it that once the wife is pregnant they start looking at the next thing in a skirt(Man or Women). If the roles were reversed you expect the woman to sit with you and possibly feed you soup to get you better.

Isnt the Woman carrying the baby that you both planted in her....STOP being selfish and PLS if you have to play out of Marriage, put a rubber on it...Dnt pass on some random disease on ur wife because you want some 5mins fun....
Hmm.

(rolling eyes at Sexkillz)

I know several married couples varies in ethnicity, religion, and culture, where the woman have proposed to the man. They all are in a happy marriage. It has nothing to do with who propose first....traditionally a man proposes to the woman however many people are becoming non-traditionalist (which I heavily supports) and doing what makes them happy collectively.

I am totally against cookie cutter mentality of how each individual people should operate in their OWN LIVES. If following traditions make you happy then great! But do not shoot down others that doesn't think like you nor follow the same things as you do.

This is for everyone it applies to.

onila: no matter what
ders nothing proud abt ruining pple's families
No one can ruin a family without being allowed to. Whether Zim or Nigerian women snatching or borrowing husbands has nothing to do with the type of men they are.

Ethnicity has nothing to do with a person's character...if a married man don't respect his marriage and wife...how can the wife expect the outsider to respect her and her marriage?

People need to accept accountability for their own actions and stop pointing fingers at a group rather than the specific person guilty of such act.

Amaks Tonia: I have a friend who has a very good guy, God fearing, honest and all but he does not seem to be on the same level with her. The types of friends he hangs with are introverts, those that don't know what's happening or fashion and can't really dress well and some what lack experience in dealing with girls. I don't know what else to advise her so i resorted to getting more advice here.
Do your "friend" have an issue with her man or his friends? I am reading two different scenarios!
