MsDarkSkin: you know i have your back wink
and no i wasn't rolling my neck - for once.. grin
i was actually laughing. anyway, i can see the intent was to let
this thread die down so, i'll do just that. I said what I had to. smiley
Oh no Sis! You can say more! grin grin grin I was referring to Kunte Kinte and Bubbles reviving the thread after reading it for two days. grin

The fact that he repeats the same epistle over and over is like he trying to convince himself he and his people are different when it come to how non-Blacks view colored folks.

I read the website link you have posted and that is exactly what they think of all colored folks. I will never forget that video link you have posted about that Nigerian dude getting busted at the store and all I could think of was give us free. lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

You always come correct and represent. kiss kiss

MsDarkSkin: babe you're talking to MsDarkSkin.
If i wanted to mention your crawny name, it would have been. I believe I was talking to Chima.

and save the chapter book worth of stereotypes there are volumes OF volumes grin when it comes to Africans. Regardless, I am STILL a proud half akata grin. Nothing will ever change that. I just find you amusing. Your inferiority complex and disdain for black Americans is a direct result of the beating Europe gave to Africa. But then again it took your kind to allow your people to be enslaved ON AND OFF their own soil. After all isn't it a dream or seen as an accomplishment to an African mother and father to send their children to the west for an education? Why not stay home? What is "the/a better life"? Why isn't it in Africa? African mental slavery has produced your kind so I see that your calling someone else a slave is your method to pull someone else to your sad level. Clap for yourself black face cheesy Neither group is squeaky clean no matter how much you wish it were. For every Akata, Caribbean and Afro. latin who is "lost", you should be pitying your despicable forefathers for selling out their own families (depriving them of their "identities" ) and blood for vanity only to be fcked in the end. Great kingdoms all subdued to bow to foreign monarchs. Your tongues, replaced with Germanic and Romance languages. Your Gods traded in for 'Jesus'. And you come on here trying to speak high and mighty when you have crap on your plate that hasn't even had it's surface grazed much less cleaned off. What's funny is, it's always the same type of "Africans" that talk the most junk about B.A.s that don't even have anything good to say about their own people unless it's convenient. "You reap what you sew" and damn if the next generations in Africa didn't and still aren't 'feeling it' because of the crimes against humanity their ancestors were involved in. And black people have the nerve to get mad when whites see us as God forsaken. Clowns like you do far more harm to our race than any Akata LovePeddler or crackhead. The same way there are statistics used to put down AAs you better believe there are far more when it comes to Africa/ns. I could write up my own cyber novel but I chose not to because I have respect for my ancestors and respect for myself. Besides it would be a waste of my time. Rather than get the picture you'd try to fire back and flex your muscles on another black ethnic group because you cannot do the same to whitey who btw is not only your slave master but God-like as he calls the shots that your presidents and leaders must "lick"/ adhere to. Instead of playing your role as "monkey see, monkey do azz nigger", simply find ways to better your nation and yourself. wink

btw write these clowns: http://www.newnation.org/NNN-Darkest-Africa.html. Send them your write ups and convince them that "we are not the same". From the looks of it, they can't tell. smh.
The fact that you commented on my posts pissed him off. wink wink

(giving standing ovation and wiping tears) Sis! You were rolling your neck as you were typing huh? grin grin grin grin

LMAO@this thread still popping. grin grin grin grin grin

"White and Asian men with businesses and careers aren't online chasing faceless chatters and debating over dumb poo, they are out there making cash and leaving things for their future generations. "

I am working very hard in these area and I am doing good

luckgames: Call me
suga lady
Are you lonely?
We can set you up with some Nigerian dude
Please don't hate
You mad at Nigerian Men,
Any reason why?
See that's where you misunderstood me. I have never said anything about Nigerian men directly. I said Black men as a whole are on the bottom of the totem pole in American society and a few others.

The point of the totem pole comment is instead of Black people bickering about who is better than who, White and Asian men are dominating the world. Black men collectively can do the same thing if THEY LEARN TO focus on what is important and not who is marrying and dating whom.

White and Asian men with businesses and careers aren't online chasing faceless chatters and debating over dumb shit, they are out there making cash and leaving things for their future generations.

Some chatters are very focused on crumbs instead of the bread. No thanks on the men though. kiss

I got my eye on this White man. tongue

There is no chat or anything, but you should be able to email them directly. It is just another feature to keep in contact with your friends without having to ask for their emails in public.
Romance › Re: Yoghurt In His House: The Perfect Date! by MrsChima(f): 2:32pm On Mar 15, 2012
mykejones: I honestly don't get why some fellas are reigning insults on the girl. Some even went as far as calling her a gold digger.
What's her crime?
Even if she came frm a poor home and all that, why would a guy offer her a mere yogurt on a visit? Not even a visit,a date sef!
And someone asked why she went to his house...i can bet my ass U've done worse dan she did on ur first date!
Op..tel her to try d 2nd date jare. He might even decide to offer her pure water sef.
My candid advice...tell her to lower her expectation. If she does, she'l neva eva be dissapointed in anyone and in anytin.
Goodluck..again!
LMAO@pure water date. grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

queensmith: doesnt take a genius to tell dude wanted to bed her with minimum expenditure, don't get sucked into what you see, if he didn't make an effort he's not worth it. m2c
Exactly. If he is testing her, he is definitely not worth it.

He didn't have to spend loads of cash to impress her but on a first date shouldn't be at his house. It should have been somewhere neutral and feasible for both parties.

Why would you bring someone that you just getting to know to your house anyways? huh That's another topic.
Romance › Re: Ladies Can U Get Married To A Guy With Dreadlocks by MrsChima(f): 2:26pm On Mar 15, 2012
The parents should be more concern with the quality of his character and intelligence. Appearance is modifiable and shouldn't be a big issue however changing someone's identity isn't being honest.

I see nothing wrong with his locs, but tidy up wouldn't hurt. It is not your look they are protesting, they may have other men in mind for their daughter.

There are other fishes in the sea.

Romance › Re: Lack Of Romance & Intimacy In My Marriage by MrsChima(f): 2:06pm On Mar 15, 2012
Pinkzs: I have been married for 9years with 3kids. My marriage is ok but theres no spark in our love life. Anytime i bring up the issue of lack of intimacy between us he claims theres no problem between us. We maintain separate bedrooms & i feel that contributes but he doesnt want us to maintain one. We make love only when he feels like it & even then its onesided cos its over when he has climaxed. I know he cares about us but i dont feel any love on his part. I dont here the words "I LOVE YOU". I have sort of resigned myself to fate but its getting to me. I have tried repeatedly to talk about it but its pushed aside passively. Isnt marriage meant to be enjoyed? I am not enjoying my marriage. PLS WHAT ELSE CAN I DO TO MAKE MY MARRIAGE WORK? (Pls serious contributions only)
Make sure you do not divorce or otherwise you will be labeled as a Westerner. lipsrsealed lipsrsealed Stay in your miserable marriage to avoid shame from your people.

Just keep trying and hopefully it will get better. lipsrsealed

Some parents are controlling even to their adult children. The girl have to make a decision on her own about what she wants in life.

Romance › Re: She Keeps Talking About Her Ex by MrsChima(f): 1:14pm On Mar 15, 2012
deemayjee: My fiancee has this habit of always talking about her ex-boyfriend. i always tell her that i hate it and this guy was part of her past and should remain there. she keeps on apologising but after a few days, she will come up with another "Aliyu would do this" or "Aliyu would have done that" senario again.

recently we have been planning for our wedding. I told her we should go to the marriage registery and we have been planning on that. Normally after the certificate she is to change her name and put the notification of name change in the newspapers. imagine my horror and anger when she mentioned this samee guy again, stating that he would do the name change for her because he works for a particular newspaper. i told her no way, that we will do it in another paper but she refused. this led to an arguement between us and i ended up telling her that im fed up of this her always mentioning her ex. i then told her that i will call off the registery thing until she made up her mind - she should either choose either her ex or me. she was like why should i do such a thing and give her such a shocking statement like that.

she did not talk to me for the next two days, but of late she has been sending me messages, saying she is sorry and that she is ready to change. i ignored her messages for sometime until recently she called and was crying on the phone.

im really not happy about all this cos im not too sure she will change. i hate it when a girl im dating keeps referring to her ex if i do something she does not like.
