House, I just found out a trick about predicting exchange rate on Oanda. Oanda uses the average or mean fluctuations of the previous day to arrive on their selling rate. In case you have not applied, you can go to Xe or download the app. Whatever is their lowest and highest rate today will be reflected on Oanda tomorrow. That was how I made my prediction before my application. Remember to put ur closing balance in Naira on the left side as the currency you have and check the equivalent on the right as the currency you want. If you do otherwise, you'll get a different value. All the best.

My dear if u havent submitted ur bank statement to d uni for issuance of CAS then would advice u pay some more tuition deposit to the school and tell them to update it on your cas so that the tuition fee balance left in ur account would be reduced if the fluctuation has really affected your balance. I am presently in shock as result of the giant downward path Naira has embarked on. I have kept maintenance money in my account for more than 3 months now. Each time my 28 days counting is about to complete the Naira will slide further. Last Friday was the latest one, from N419 it moved downward to N449 and now N445.

At this point, my school resumes on 26th Sept I just have to apply now. Please I will like to know if there is anyone who has experienced this situation before and applied like that.

Amen oooh, God really needs to miraculously drop pounds on oanda to 250 to a naira ijn! Cos mehn its not really funny, if there isnt any useless 28days rule now people can always add more money to it. God will give us all a testimony. My dear dont even think of doing such. U can only use money from the acc if you have more than enough in it. If the total money u need for ur visa to be issued is 3,000,000naira and u have six million in it then u are very very free to withdraw. If its dt exact three million u have as at the tym u applied for visa dnt even touch it else my dear u ll get denied.

Just wait till u get to school and pay other tuition fees u wanna pay.

Barry Jones PTA is a personal travel allownce u apply for at ur bank it can be in pounds or dollar to take when embarking on a trip overseas. Means u gotta change ur naira to either of those two bfr travelling.

When you pack the foodstuffs place some of your clothings on it, lolz and send them tru and go pick it at newcastle. And carry wit u ur small hand luggage wit ur pasport tickets et all tht u wud show to the border control officers in Englandupon arrival. Keep ya money safe too incase u wanna buy sim and call card or pay for taxi thats to take u to ur accomodation. My favorite sims are O2 and lebara.

When ur luggages are been checked in tell them you want your bag with foodstuffs to go along with your other bags except your small hang luggage. So you would just go pick it up straight at Newcastle airport. And you pick your bags and for the food stuffs dt are blended put them in a transparent bag that can be very visible they sell those bags at supermarkets here in naija. Elope my two cent means thats my sincere answers and reply to his questions. And as for luggage its 30kg per person. No need calling emirates for anything. He cant also carry as much money as he can. Why wud he go buy rice at tesco again for 1pound and some pence when he can carry some to last for some weeks or a month if he isnt the type that eats much and save those pounds for other tins.

Hello cuteemperor, From my previous travel experiences to Uk for visit u do not need a transit dubai visa as you wont be headed towards the immigration officers, u would be inside the airport seated till your flight is been announced for boarding to Newcastle. Dont be surprised by the time you land in dubai u wont even have time to waste than to just move straight to ur boarding gate, as their is usually a shuttle kinda bus dt moves passengers to where their next flight is, make sure to get their on time so as not to miss it o. The max u can carry with an economy plus cabin is 30kg. If it exceeds u would pay extra charges. Hand luggage are small bags u have ur vital documents in tht u can conveniently put in the cabin just where you ll be seated in the plane. You can take food stuffs, if u take foods that are grinded like crayfish put them in a transparent packing bag. That immigration officers can easily confirm and not waste your time at the boader control in Uk. If u wish to declare the foodstuffs you can. As for the phone maybe u shud get it here. Well unless u wanna do contract buying or pay as you go kinda buying in the uk and with exchange rate my dear the price fit skyrock. Thats my two cent about this questions.
