If your a first time applicant then what could be the problem then for them to not have responded since May thats crazy.... its way too long for a visit visa to take that long not like its settlement visa dt tks 60days . Are you sure all your supporting docs are genuine and that agent didnt help you fill your form because have heard cases here where they messed up applicants application....

Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by MrsDaniels(f): 4:46pm On Aug 14, 2019
Your lucky to ve concluded email. My cuz and his child did theirs 12days before you even did ur biometrics and till now no response. This someone who schooled in the Uk. And been for visit twice after his studies and never overstayed his trips and they taken forever on his application. We were expecting him over here since July 29th. But wen dem never even answer am and him pikin how will dey come na. UkVI know how to collect money but wont fulfill their own promise of adhering to the timelines.

bikram6100:
i got the same mail from same email address on 29th July and there is no update from TLS/UKVI till now. i did my biometric on 15th July at LAGOS_VI
i am tired of writing emails to UKVI and TLS, every time they say "your application is concluded and VAC will contact you very soon"

My cousin emailed UKVI today regarding his application and his child and he got this email. His wondering what they could be doing on it since July 3rd...Na wa sha for this people. What do u guys think he should do?

Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by MrsDaniels(f): 12:19pm On Aug 13, 2019
What baffles me about UKVI is why do they delay people's passport even weeks after they have made a decision? It makes no sense at all. My cousin and his child are in the same wait game too. Since July 3rd they did their biometrics. Its insane really. U ll have to wait dear until VAC signals to u.

Simp1e:
It’s over a month I did my biometrics in Abuja . I sent an email to them on Sunday and got this reply today. Nairalandas how long should I still wait for it my leave is almost over .

My cousin and his baby are in dis same mess....They did their application on the 3rd July and till now nothing from dem.....on 22nd he said they sent application nt straightforward for his babys application. Wonder why they taking ages. How much did it cost you to email them so i can tell my cuz to do same. Cos it dont make any sense. When they paid for VAC value services and they still delaying them. Na wa for UKVI dis days thou!

bikram6100:

i applied on 15th July in Lagos, received "Concluded" email on 29th July. but after that UKVI guys have not given any update regarding my application. still waiting to hear from them. have sent them email and they have escalated my application. god knows what they are doing. and i have to travel on 29th and still there is no results now.

Hello Justwise dear....Been a while trust ur doing great ... but why is it that some of this ECO'S enjoy dishng out unjust refusal to applicant not even considering that applicants from Nigeria spend alot for application. I mean its just insane ooh. With this kids denial i feel so angry at the ECO making such a stupid accusation even when they saw all evidences. Jesus christ i hail some of dis amateur ECO's wey dem dey put to treat applicants cases.
justwise:

You can reapply with the same list of documents(but updated) then attach letter of complain about the refusal and family pictures

A different ECO will treat your case

Or write letter of complain to the embassy about the refusal focusing on the accusation that your kids are not related to you, you don't need to add anymore document.

From the last paragraph on the letter..The ECO expects that you submit Minor travel consent letter from your husband stating he is allowing the kids travel with you. If you see well u ll "Parent Consent" in the bullet point of the last paragraph. I think you need to reapply and make sure to include a travel consent letter. My sister inlaw's baby was once denied before too....until her hubby wrote a travel consent letter to the ECO allowing his wife take their baby on vacation. Uk ECO's can be really funny because mehn i dont see any damn reason why the ECO denied them even with your marriage cert, Birth cert and all...the ECO must be a saddist. One must really avoid them and put every damn documents. Mostly the GOD factor is paramount. Wish ur kids luck in their next application!

Did you put Minor travel consent letter? If you applied alone with them. But if you submitted as a family then the Eco is insane. Because only God factor matters most with this ECO people. They refuse for stupid reasons.

Birth certificate, marriage certificate, school fees, school introduction letter and sponsorship/introduction letter from my husband.

Didnt you submit their birth certificates? Because this Eco's behave funny sometimes.

nomad26 so my sister tried her luck couple of minutes ago and amended her baby's appointment and saw a 2pm regular appointment time slot and picked that. So she would just be paying for their document upload service alone now. Lucky her init? Lol! Someone must have dropped that time slot that made it available. So she wont be paying for Prime time again for her baby and am cocksure they would just let her do her babys upload same time with hers since her own appt is for 9am since his a baby. Thanks dear for ur input.

MrsDaniels:

dear....if she cancels only God knows when she ll be able to see date again as she wants to tk opportunity of her leave from work to visit. She said when she was booking most of the dates were gone for the Ikeja VAC. Hence she had no choice than to pick that time for her baby. Do u think if she explains to them at the VAC they would skip the baby paying the prime time fee. As the baby would ve to go in with his mother now since he cant go in by himself. I really dunno when they began to find ways to just extort from applicants like this. Never used to be like that. What do you suggest dear. Its really annoying thou.

The tls appointment site doesn't make sense to me too o, they are just out to get as much money from people as possible. Here's how I avoided paying any extra fee when booking appointment for my brother and mum last week:. I had both applications open on two laptops and I was able to successfully book the same time slots for them.
Is it critical for your sister to submit on the 3rd? If not, there is an option to amend appointment on the tls site. She can use that to cancel and then try the method I suggested above. Hopefully she will be able to get the same time slot for her and her baby.

Hi evening all, please my sister and her 6months old baby wanna visit myself and my husband here and then she got appointment date and time for July 3rd for 9am for herself and would be paying the 10k assisted service fees for her document upload...but as she was abt to click same time for her baby it took her to the only available time for 8am so she had to take it only for her to find out she would be paying an extra 37k for Prime time service as stated on VAC site and also 10k for upload. Pls is it possible for her to explain to them when she gets there because now the both time appointments wouldnt be tallying as the baby was scheduled for 8am and she the mother 9am. What would you advise she does? She feels angry she would have to pay when she can just pay for their assisted service totaling 20k for she and her baby. Anyone have a clue? Or been in this type of situation before?

@Dimmy17 am sorry to tell you mate but you been banned from UK for 10years aint nothing you can do bout it.....Home office always says its better u explain why u dont have a document than submit a false or forged document. Albeit if u innocent of the allegation then you should take a step quickly else my dear Only a miracle would mk them issue u a visa. Please safe yourself the hassles of wasting more monies to apply dear...wishing u the best in the future!

Pls dont try it ooh.....My sis inlaw is submitting her third application now due to her not submitting her nigerian salary account showing her salary deposits with her application despite her work letters and leave certificat....now second refusal is dt she didnt submit the proof of how some funds got in her account when its infact her salary that was deposited in few days to her submission at VAC as she printed her bank statement on the morning of her submission. If she knew she wud ve done dt 1week bfr her submission to avoid it. Make sure u submit all ur bank statements n payslips including ur sponsors own too with ur applicatn else u wud be refused. So avoid it.

TonyyS:
has anyone relying solely on the sponsor gotten a visa with just sponsors bank statements (with regular transacts) and no payslips submitted.

@Justwise do u advise she reapplies with a cover letter? Because according to her , her salary for february thats in arrears was paid by into her account and thats like a week bfr her submission date at VAC unfortunately, so guess the ECO didnt see it properly cos it clearly states its feb salary and it showed the companys name on it too in her acc statement. So do u advise she sends in a letter and prolly get a letter from the accounts dept that indeed she was paid or what do you advise. Mehn she is so so pained!

justwise:

Read the 3rd bullet points in that refusal letter because that is where the issue lies. Large and recent deposit without explaining the source.
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by MrsDaniels(f): 9:27pm On Apr 12, 2019
@Infiosa lolz, u wont blv she studied in UK and has travelled twice too. Hence her anger why they keep doing such despite her travel history with the UK...Its really annoying thou when home office do such especially when its genuine docs u submitted.
Infiosa:

I'm sorry about your sister's Visa refusal. One of my colleagues got his first ever UK Visa on his fourth attempt despite the genuineness of his documentation. It started with money lodgement then date of birth discrepancies on birth certificate and passport. It could be frustrating but he took his time to correct error pointed against the next application. In the last 2 years he has been granted UK Visa 3 different times. Read through the refusal letter thoroughly and provide detailed information and concrete evidence in your next application. UK Visa application is a lot better once you can prove strong tie back home. I wish her best of luck next time as God's factor is equally important

@Justwise my sis inlaw picked her p.port today and she was refused again ooh. Second time, first was she omitting her naira salary account...and then she did submitted her statement and her dorm acc statement too if you recall i mentioned it to you. So now she is so confused what the ECO wants this time around. Please help look into the refusal letter. Pls is the issue with her hubbys statement or hers cos she submitted her hubbys personal savings account with her own statements.
