pls for you guys who has picked up ur visas or flown to the uk, using priority in ikeja vac...when u got ur decision email did you go to the vac that same day to pick up your visa? pls kindly respond pls guys...

visainfo.shefo just sent me a decision email now.....@thatfiyahgirl and @fizzile.....hope VAC ikeja send collection mail soonest oh..else would have to rebook my flight..

Yeah I paid for priority and I got a decision mail from Sheffield two days after they sent that mail about them needing more time

Got that email yday morning frm sheffield, i shud ve gotten a decision mail now as @thatfiyahgirl u know, and planned travelling sunday evening to arrive England monday morning. If i get my documents received tomorrow.

My School, my course of study, and where am to collect my BRP,

My bags were not searched, was only asked about my CAS while leaving Dubai , the emirates official scrutinised my passport like mad. And was asking where I applied and that where else visa could be applied for ? ( jamb question *in simi's voice)

It was all a wonderful experience until I was told to pay 5pence for nylon

The lady that had our documents with her calling us in made a mistake with my visa number, but I corrected her and the interviewer also said it was corrected. Prayers up! What was ur reply to the what relevance is d course to u? I said well ma'am in this era or increasing specialisation i know for sure this course would help develop me greatly into been a specialist in consultancy and management, and of cos after working in the family business for like 2-4yrs i intend setting up my own consultancy firm, and also its going to build more my business, strategy and communication skills more.

And lo and behold, i got up thinking of how the interview will look like and to be honest i was pretty tensed. Thinking of how i will twist my lips and unleash some queen's English. Omor no be small tension grab me like girl wey dey grab shawama. At about 9 am, i got a call from a lady at ukeas informing me that i will need to photocopy my documents and have a passport too but on a second though i contacted Mcstar and she told me she didnt do all that. Well i was like to be on the safe side let me just do photocopies.
Left the house around to 10 to make photocopies but got to some business centres and their machines were all bad...omor na that time i know say the devil wey dey watch me dey watch with better HD and na 3D him dey use sef . Past ten i still dey waka round dey find where to photocopy and around 10:45am i got a place and make the photocopies of which at the end of the day i didnt submit.
Got a cab to take me to the TLS Abuja and at that point i know the devil had remixed his plan for me that day. I was like e no go happen for you. This cab guy didnt even know where i was going...he was busy taking me round and round as if i came for a tour round Abuja. I kept on telling this young man that i have an interview by 11.30 and need to be there by 11.15. I kept losing patience cos it was beginning to piss me off. by 11:12 i was able to locate the building from afar and thats how we were able to locate the venue. Was supposed to give the guy 300naira but i didnt know when i jumped out of the cab and gave him 200naira and ran straight to the gate.. A couple of guys ran to me all in the name of making photocopies,what was in my mind at that moment was just crazy.
Straight to the interview.. well i checked in then got to the reception and checked in my application form and passport...got all my documents in a bag provided by the staff there. Saw some guys forming janded...some chics forming janded and forming over-Behind.. I was like who out of all these people is a nairalander. i was as mute as a mice. Had my biometrics then went to the waiting room for my interview.
When it got to my turn, i walked majestically like a guy who is walking down the aisle...no be small aisle... ..... I walked into the room and sat down, picked up the headset and started the interview with a white guy...probably via skype. I expected the normal though.
- My name and date of birth
- What course i did in my undergraduate
- Why the UK
- Why Coventry
- Did u send in an IELTS or TOEFL (Well i told him i sent in my WAEC)
- and of what relevance the course will be to me.
At the end we exchanged pleasantries, and na so i give the guy better thumbs up unto niggar na...lololzzzzz... and indeed he smiled.

Hopefully am expecting a positive decision Godwilling and surely my transcript will come up once again.

Thank u dear, but USa one knows his or fate right there in front of the VO, uk visas is suspense and action thrilled movie its true thou once u dont ve a bad immigration records or rule, have sufficient funds, submit genuine docs and be truthful UK visa is really the easiest compared to those oda countries above all its Gods divine favor that speaks volume in every issuance . @fizzile i for change my name to mrsFizzile but Mr daniels no go fit leave him wife oooo funny guy!

U.K. Student visa might be stressful but I think it is the easiest to get from Nigeria when compared to countries like USA, Canada, Australia etc

Jesus student visa is the most stressful i swear if u ask me abeg, my hubby was laughing thou when i was praying o he said babe calm down jare, why panic when u have a clean immigration history with them and also have more than enuf funds. not funny mehn dis dere wait is sometin e pass Hollywood suspense for films ...

Hello all, submitted my application at Abuja on the 6th of September, priority application. No decision letter yet. Any body in similar situation as me? School has resumed on the 5th but registration must be completed on the 23rd of September, though I didn't state that in the application.
Should I be really worried?

Thanks dear, yeah she was and i gave a precise and concise answers to her question but also chipping in some small info that for sure they already have on their database as result of my previous applications and visa issuance to the uk. Like telln her my engagements afta grad. Since there isnt any space to input such info on the application form. Guess she was very ok wit my detailed yet concise replies, cos like @thatfaygirl said there was a person who entered bfr us the vo spent more time with her than usual am sure maybe bombarding the person with questions and above all i know God went before me. Sure by his grace we all wud share the good news. Ijn!

Nevertheless, I count you lucky for your interview, although I never discounted ur effort and, ultimately ur prayer. That's God for you.

What I am most concerned about is the area of forwardness; that the interviewer was straight forward. I want to know if ur answers were straight forward as well, as in specific and concise. Just trying to reconcile ur latest experience with ur previous advice as regards UK visa credibility interview.

Its strange too cos have once renewed my visit visa bfr and forgot to include my employment letter maybe the VO overlooked it cos its my dads company i work and also cos my mom applied with me to renew hers too, they issued both of us the visas. I knew it was God at work and also the VO wasnt just so wicked as the odas to deny me. I swear i was saying Daddy they will deny my visa cos i didnt submit my employment details as evidence just i think my id card. So those vo's really issue visa at their disgression and refuse stupidly too when they wish to be wicked and not lenient. But hey thank God u got an issuance this time....wishing you the very very best dear.

I only stressed how important the course is to me and no mention about work at all. ECOs and different ways of handling applications shaa.

Did anyone else submit letter from employer? As far as I've read on the guidance, it's not meant to be part of the supporting docs

That my fam friend went to island vac today too they said she shud come tomorrow that they are expecting some documents to delivered to them tonight, so wud say go and check tomorrow urs could be there.

Very very strange have never heard bout it too. Its a requiremt with other visa categories and not student visas. Indeed diff vo's with their different strokes of judging applications, all i know is If God is involved in something not even the VO can change it. Now fingers crossed tick tock!! My testimony too is coming ijn! Saw that priority visas take 5days at ikeja vac today on their notice board.

Hi guys just finished my interview now entered abt 12:40pm and appointment was 12:30pm got my documents checked in and did biometrics, and went to sit in the interview waiying queue and then it came to my turn
She smiled and told me her name asked the following questions:-

* Your name, Dob and nationality.
* Why i chose the uk
* Why i chose my course
* Why i chose The school
* When is my school resuming
* Where is my school located at?
* How the course would be of help to me.

And asked if i understood all she said and asked and i said yes...so i said have a nice day ahead then she said and you too.. bye!! It took 10mins cos i checked my time before going in and when i came out. Rule No 1-: DONT PANIC, BE VERY BOLD, WELL SPOkEN AND ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS welllll!
