Oh so sorry love @sassyboochick this vo's are just something else, gues if u had tackled the Vo too by telling about ur work engagements after graduating from uni right at the interview they wont ve had cause to deny in such a stupid manner without conscience stupid pple! If its other visa categories now it wud be stated in d application ur work experiences or present job but student visa app one has to chip it when asked questions during interview, very very important cos they find smallest opportunity to pounce unfairly on applicant. Maybe you should do the review i guess justwise sys it takes 15days abi cant recall sef and tell them you didnt see any stupid missed calls. Nonsense!

@sassyboochick lolz, well i wouldnt know about that anyway, i stated this persons reason for denial, UKVi have diff reasons for denying people visa thou and even universities said the most common reason is insufficient funds in the applicants acc or past immigration offences, also its wise for one to be cery very explanatory enuf during interview like mentioning work experiences and all your engagements after graduation that way you would clear every doubts in the vo's mind and wont want to think u want to escape tru dis student visa route to live in the uk, speak till the vo tell you its okay, cos na so their matter take oh my dear, and like i said its Gods infinite mercy if he says its ones set time no visa officer can change the decision. What date are you talking about? Is it the date they made a decision on your application? Why didnt you do the review now? Those vo's behave like idiots sha!

Told you she got decision mail few hours after the enquiry dept emailed her that decision has been made that she should go to Vac for collection in 3-5days after she gets the decison mail. She will be going to the VI Vac today to pick up her visa. Cos she went there on friday and she was told to come on monday to pick it up. You could go check yours too at the Vac you applied from.

I am yet to get any decision mail from Sheffield. Where and when did you apply?

Pls to you guys that paid for priority visa fee how many days did it take for your visa to be issued and pick up too?

Thats how they denied one guy at Churchgate VAC on friday when my cuz went to pick her own visa, pls this should serve as a warning to peeps who have gotten their applications sent to Sheffield, always have your phone on and with you too. They did interview for him, guess they werent clear about somethings, so they called this dude on saturday from sheffield he didnt pick for 13times, neither did he call back ooh, and him having 3rd class in first degree they wanted to ask him what he has been doing since he graduated in 2014 after Nysc completed in 2015, am so sure if the dude had picked up and answered their questions then he would have gotten his visa. Because its an MBa he was going for and he was to do premasters and masters together. Due to them not been able to speak with him he got an outright denial, so the VO commented saying its cos he got a third. Which literally is very unusual for them to refuse on such ground, they obviously couldnt say cos he didnt pick his calls for 13times for them to get more answers bfr they make a decision. It was a terrible thing cos the guy paid for priority, that made me know they do applications on weekends for priority pple and thats how the guy used stupidity to loose his visa. Because have seen diff peeps with a third class abroad and they do their program and come out with very very good grades. So pls for us going for interview make sure your confident and speak and be very explanatory enuf to the VO and try to mention every important info to the visa officer too so they wont have any cause to start chasing u with calls to clearify things for them. Especially those doing the priority and other normal visa applicant peeps. Pls guys! I felt so bad for the guy, cos dose visa officers dont wanna know if u spent 2million to pay for visa app and all they look for slight chances, so pls be very brave confident and above all pray and hand it over to God the one who is the Chief Visa officer and has authority ova every being.

My appointment is tomorrow and so is my interview, i also paid for priority to fast track it.

You got nothing to worry about, your maintenance money are for things like accommodation, transport etc in the UK so spending £200-250 on a hotel accommodation is just part of it.

You are not expected to pay for accommodation or book for a flight until you have your visa.

Justwise someone said one should never mention to them you paying for hotel for few days that instantly they would start to calculate the same money from one's bank account balance. Should i just say i decided to wait till i get my visa issued before making plans for accomodation.
And have seen some properties i would love to go view upon arrival in the uk before making payments. Found it tru Sturent website.

Cant possibly say London or Liverpool cos dts where ma folks are, cos its Birmingham am heading to. @Justwise pls can i print oanda rate for the day i applied online and made payments and attachit to my bank statement? Since u said ukvi uses dt day rate to calculate closing bal on our bank statement. Also my statement ws printed on 8th sept to get my Cas issued, can i use same statement or quickly print anoda one on monday from the bank with recent date on it? My interview is on monday at the ikeja vac also paid for priority. Student visa and its much senrenren! Lol.

oh dear, i was sent a recdeipt via email and printed it out too. you should be sent cos you would tender it at the VAC.

Am used to vi VAC than the ikeja own, its the ikeja VAC i submitted to not island this time, heard ikeja is faster. was findn out abt the island priority for some one.

Just be prepared to wait for your interview cos there is usually a crowd at VI.

I used Ikeja VAC. The additional £55 is automatic. You will make the payment with the others.

guys who applied at the ikeja VAC did you guys pay for additional 55pounds for using their VAC? or its just the visa fee+IHS alone

No dear she didnt use priority cos her dad wasnt aware of it. lolz until after he had submitted the application at the Vac. you could go check tomorrow or monday.

Yes she got it that same yesterday just after she got response thata decision has been made dt her passport should be wit her in 3-5days . maybe you should go check.

Please I want to know if anyone who used standard service in the last three weeks (precisely from Aug 23rd '16) has received a decision mail from Sheffield. Although UKVI Int'l enquiry dept. informed me after contacting them that a decision has been made on my application, I am yet to receive any decision mail from Sheffield.

You could say Sir, please be aware there was an input error in my date of birth after printing out my application and submitting it online. Pls find below my correct date of birth in correspondent with all other documents and my passport. Then you input your dirth of birth e.g (12th May 1900). Thank you sir for your understanding. Simple just write it neatly like that the visa officer will take note of the correction. You have notin to worry or panic about dear, have made such mistake bfr too in d date of my USA visa issuance when asked for date and month of issuance all i did was write a small note to the VO and i have been having no issues with them.

Yes and i think even justwise has mentioned here too in his subsequent posts. You can correct with pen or type or write a short cover letter telling the vo that there is an error on ur dob when you printed it out that the actual dob is so so and so. Simple if this second option makes u more better. Its allowed cos thats why u see them courier those application forms with ur oda supporting documents to the Uk for processing, thats the only way to correct as you cant correct it again after online submission. Write it neatly on an A4 sheet explaining just as have said to show the discrepancy in ur dob. All the best dear!

Printout your document and make correction with a pen your correct Dob, the visa officer will know its a mistake. Before you submit it at the VAC.

Guys, i need assistance ooo. I tried booking and what i saw under my date of birth is 12 September 2016, then i went back and corrected but when i try to apply, it still reflects as 2016. What do i do please? I have confirmed the booking cos of that.

Its your biometric residency permit card that enables one live, work or study in the Uk without immigration restrictions and it has duration too. It means they ve sent it to your Uni and you gotta pick it from there when you get to school.

Yes dear total i paid today was 477, 146k for both visa fees+Ihs+ Priority visa fee thou i calculated with the blackmarket rate for dollars and pounds and also my programme is 18mnths so it could ard 400plus some figures for yours @smartoes. My interview is on friday morning dear @hormolarry and thanks a bunch for the wishes i appreciate; Smartoes return the money back and if you wish to pay for the 24hour visa priority fees they would still confirm your bank statement.

Hi everyone, congratulations to those that have gotten their visa, and to those who are still expecting, God's favour IJN. @smartoes, I am afraid 378k may not be enough for visa with priority service, it may be around 400k upward, and regarding the bank statement, I don't think you can use 2weeks old printed out bank statement for your application, u will have to print another one 2 to 3 days before your interview. @mrs Daniels, wen is your interview?i wish you all the best. I did mine last week thursday.
