My dear since my years on earth and in living in England never ever have i seen anyone who has an insider to guarantee a UK visa. Am sorry to say.

1. Run as fast as you can from such a stupendious and a liar such as that agent.....If you allow them run your application then get ready to be messed up big time and if the UKVI verifies the statement to be fake then you ll be denied and also banned for 10years for forgery and misrepresentation too as its a very serious offence....which has happened to several people who fall prey to such lies been told by these hungry so called agents. My dear Uk visa application is as straight forward as AbC fill the form yourself please.

2. Never ever....i repeat pls never make a mistake of letting any useless agent give you bank statement as its fraudulent.....they forge it by doing "Funds Parking" to make the acc balance bogus.

Print 6months bank statement from ur bank and tell them its for Embassy purpose. And gather all your docs genuienely. Submit ur application. Pray more as thats the key as its Gods grace that speaks at the end of it all. .

3. You not having a Salary Job could pose to be problematic as thats to be one of your greatest tie to Nigeria. But you can submit your business certificates or tax certs to show where ur income is coming from. And make sure to use 2times your monthly disposable income. You earn well so its left to you to package your application well.

I met an agent & he told me he has an insider in UK embassy and the visa is 100% guaranteed. He asked about my statement and I told him I don't have fat money in my account but I can sponsor my trip to & fro. He said he can provide me with a statement that has good record.

I don't have a landed property, I don't have a salary job but I'm legally married.

Hello ma'am from ur response seems you applied for both of you.....you should have included a minor travel consent letter from your spouse. Saying he allows you to travel with the child. Submit compulsorily consent letter alongside other docs you submitted or wanna add in ur new application. Its part of the immigration rule for minors under 18years.....since his a baby and must be accompanied. Goodluck!

Hello poster sorry for your son's refusal. How old is your son? If you got the right docs submitted as proof that his your son indeed then you can send complaint to the embassy. So they can look into it very well for you

Hello y'all....so for those who asked if my cuz got the visa...yeah he got them today...his and his childs. He said issue date was August 21st exact same day homeoffice called him to ask him two questions abt his previous USA n canada denials. God is the greatest.

2. Yes ur dad needs to write a letter and also tell that his happy for ur mum to travel whilst he stays back. And if he has pple to cater for him upon her departure he should state so too in the letter. Wish her luck.

Please i've got a quick question, am putting documents together for my moms appointment, she got a land from my dad last month specifically on the 6th of August and the said document was properly documented i.e deed of conveyance & plan of the property. my question now is can she use the land as ties to Nigeria considering it was just purchased last month and from my dad or does this raise suspicion.

I applied for a visit visa and paid for priority service then submitted/biometrics my documents on the 19th of July with the walkin service and got a message on the 8th that it has arrived at the decision centre and I should pick be expecting another mail soon for the pick up. But since then I haven't heard from them. I am worried about it however the event I'm planning for is holding by 13th of Sept.

It seems the ECO didn’t see your documents... you should reapply and make sure these things you listed are showing and clear after you upload.

Then either the visa center mistakenly omitted some of your documents or the ECO did not see them because data page of his British passport is a vital document.

Is either you reapply and attach letter of complain or you send a letter of complain pointing out documents you submitted so as to dispute ECO's refusal reasons

If you want to reapply ask him to also send you the front cover of his British passport

Awww congrats to her...It can only be God! My cuz too got called on wednesday morning by home office and told him they are going to re-assess his application right away....because he submitted his passport. And that is really strange if not GOD who pulled that stunt on hs behalf because they never called him bfr they refused his previous UK visit visa in January but he got called on this one. God being soo good she received a call from UK Home Office yesterday that they av re-assessed her application and that she should take her passport to the British embassy. She went there this morning and they embossed the visa in her passport without her having to leave her passport with them. God has been indeed good

these Visa officers most at times just decide to refuse people. You can even sometimes explain your circumstance through a cover letter but he/she will use their own reason to refuse. I used to believe that if you present your application well, you will receive the visa but that is not the case some times. They ones refused someone I know because that person had soo much money in his account. I have come to believe that we sometimes have to explore other avenues to challenge some of these biased refusals

Hi dear....This ur sisters case is somehow similar to my cuz's case and the diff is he didnt do any Judicial review but rather God took it over. He was denied for an insane reason the refusal letter accused him of having large sum of fynds come into his account when infact it was his salaries that was paid late that got into his acc....and he even circled it and explained. He was so mad and base on dis a person dt studied in the UK an been there twice after that. So on Wednesday he also got a call from Home office and spoke to a white dude and was asked only abt reasons for his previous Canada and USA visa applications which he did and immediately the Dude said to him they going back now to reaccess his Application. It can only be God who came tru for him. Its high time Home office do check applicants applications well and give a right judgement and not refuse on an insanely wrong note. Causing the applicant pain and all waste of their funds inclusive.

Its the ticked checklist they gave you after they scanned ur docs they asking for....its stating lists of documents they collected from you to scan that you signed on.

The ECO goofed or got confused in your financial aspect pls. Ur declared income after taking away dispensable income is 130k..thats 3 times ur income is what you intended to spend being 400k... why is the ECO saying 5 times. That means he/she didn’t take time to review or what? This is a good ground for reapplication in my opinion...

@ the bolded....My bro was refused a USA study visa lastyear and he applied for UK visit visa he was given please. And the sister is part of his tie to Nigeria as she is his dependant. A person going for tourism can get a visa and not just for reasons like Grad or weddings. At the end of it God has the final say.

Le Trust me you did very well on your application, the red flags on your application are

Firstly you got a dependant your sister
Secondly you have been refused by US and Canada recently

As ECO first thing that will come to his or her mind is you desperately wanna leave Nigeria ASAP, therefore the ECO will find excuse to deny you. Look at it yourself it’s obvious that your cost isn’t 5times your salary as the ECO claimed.

This platform can help and mess you up, if everyone starts disclosing all info, only a few like 10% will get visa lol. The fact is don’t lie or make up things on your application and dont fake anything but be smart about what would have negative impact on your application.

Come on now you were refused by Canada US and expected to easily get a UK visa, your chance is slim. I don’t mean someone refused by US Canada can’t get UK visa o

My advice is Wait 1-2yrs and reapply don’t put dependant, build up more ties like family (wife and kids) and properties. Also let your reason for visit to be more genuine like attending graduation naming wedding etc

Oh about that, the freelancer thing is a side income oo. I am fully employed with a foreign mission in Nigeria which pays my Salary. Of course, I presented a Letter of Introduction from work, Work ID and My Employment Contract. I think the issue is with my expenditure and income and I still confused on why it should be an issue

Hello sorry for your refusal....But from what you wrote and what the Eco is saying i think its because your a freelancer he or she might feel that you might elope as they feel your not in fixed kinda employment and a long-term commitment to any employer or coy. Eco's judgment isnt a fair one, you could reapply and tackle mainly by bringung the attention of the Eco to facts you wanna put tru for them to know and proof yourself worthy of the Visa in favor of your application. However, I received my application today and unfortunately, the application was rejected (reasons attached).

Please note that:
1. My budget for the proposed trip for 5 days was N400k (flight, hostel, tours and light shopping)- I was surprised the ECO stated that I was planning to spend over 5 times of my income. Biko is 5x200k equal to 400k?

1.1 [/b]My monthly income is 200K, paid in USD then I convert it directly from USD Salary Account to my Naira Account
[b]1.2 [/b]My Month expenses in 70K but there are some months I don't use my Salary at all due to the fact that I get travel bonuses and other incomes from freelance research jobs, which are OK to cover my expenses for that month and I stated this clearly on my Cover Letter

[b]2. I earn my salary in USD-( I provided my salary bank statements with a closing balance of a little over 500 USD)

3. My Savings Account had a closing balance of N1.2M

4. [/b]Provided a cover letter explaining my intent to travel, huge cash lodgements on my account early this year which was traced to my end of the year bonus, I work freelance- doing research for people, I even quoted a link to my profile with over 8k visits on a popular research website

6. Travelled to South Africa on vacation some two years ago on my old passport( Though I scanned and uploaded the pages as evidence of travel history)

7. I have been denied visas for US and Canada- which I declared on my visa application

So my cuz who did his biometrics with the son on July 3rd got the standard email of applicatn not straightforward....and today he got a call from a Nigerian number only to pick and Viola it was a white dude who introduced himself and says his calling from Home office.....Note "my cuz schooled in UK and travelled twice after that"........he had been denied USA medical/tourism visa alongside his wife lastyear as he wanted to follow her for birthing of their son. So he got refused when they asked for proof of his expired biometrice residence permit in the UK. And he said he didnt ve it an thats why they got refused. And same he was asked by the home office dude what reason did they give for denying his Canadian study visa he told them as he declared been refused in his application also. Na so dem tell am say they wan go reassess him application. Serioysly he said he knows this is a GOD move because he had been refused twice for silly reasons having to do with a money his dad sent to his UK account and cos he didnt explain it and all. He said the both refused ones they never cald and its same info he input in dis he input in dose ones.. and now Homeoffice call for him to pls give more explanation. God really moves for his own kids. Am sure its gonna be a good one for him. Wishing everyoda applicants a goodnews and God will speak for y'all behalf.

Yes ooo, they contacted me August 2nd to inform me that they had technical challenge and were unable to retrieve my supporting documents. So they advised me of an email to send my supporting documents again under 1week which I did. I say its a blessing indeed cus I used the opportunity to attach my cover letter which I didn't upload during my application.

I just give God the glory.

Your international passport is your ecowas passport (assuming you are a Nigerian).

The international passport is not the same as the ECOWAS passport, which only grants travel entry into 15 West African states (e-passports) is required for such applications. It enables to be able to retrieve ur biometric info and to know its geniunely issued by NIS.
