@OmoBendel24 okay she would include d statement then. But what is surprising me now is how come her hubby was issued visa based on her own Uk account statement submitted and excluding his own naira account statement as he didnt submit it and he is an adult. because i tot i seen somewhere bfr that even wen an adult is been sponsored the onus is still on the applicant to submit his/her bank statement too. Abeg pls explain oh.

@Justwise pls kindly reply this as am curious to know
Lol.

OmoBendel24:

You see that thing you people seem to be desperately hiding? That will be the application’s undoing most likely! You can’t say you don’t know what is most required here - her personal financial status in Nigeria. Her bank statement is needed, whether having healthy balance or not, at least let them see her income (precisely her claimed salary), inflow and outflow.
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by MrsDaniels(f): 11:17pm On Feb 22, 2019
Between @Justwise she asked me about what she should write in the part they asked how much her sponsor is paying towards her trip. And u know dey budgeted 1400£ for three of them as a family including flight and all. Should she write the same 1400£ since thats what they used to issue her hubby and son visa?
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by MrsDaniels(f): 11:13pm On Feb 22, 2019
Right now according to her she said her naira bank statement isnt good enuf with very low balance...wat do u suggest she can do?

justwise:

That refusal letter made it clear what the problem is..lack of her own financial condition in Nigeria, she need to demonstrate that in her next application even if her hubby is contributing.
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by MrsDaniels(f): 11:11pm On Feb 22, 2019
@Justwise please answer... thanks

MrsDaniels:
@Justwise my sis inlaw sent me her refusal letter. Note i had told u she submitted her pounds bank statement since thats where she saved her personal savings funds in which she decided to use for the holiday, payslips from nigeria, work leave letter, intro letter and employment letter as she works in her dads company who is my father inlaw and her acc balance is extremely low for the naira one. her 2months old son and hubby were granted except her. ....please whats the problem the eco has with her?

@Justwise she said she has low balance now reason why she didnt include it in her application hence the reason why she submitted her UK account. Cant she just use her hubbys own? Because her hubby only submitted his work letter, payslips, Leave/intro letter form work and he got visa with her own UK account. Statement. So now he decided to use his own. What can she do again oh.
justwise:

She has to add her own financial documents in addition to that of her hubby especially her salary account

Documents to submit has been listed far too many times her, its the same for all visiting visa application
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by MrsDaniels(f): 5:06pm On Feb 22, 2019
@Justwise my sis inlaw said her hubby says he would be sponsoring her now from his personal savings what documents does he need to give her? And what documents does she need to submit again should she include her UK account again? Since its her hubby who now wants to sponsor her? And does she need to submit her hubby and sons visa pages too or not with her application?

justwise:

She should have used her Nigerian salary account in addition to that of UK, she made a mistake by using the UK bank statement only
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by MrsDaniels(f): 2:26pm On Feb 22, 2019
@Justwise my sister inlaw just told me she got a refusal letter when she picked up her passport. And her hubby and son were granted 6moths visit visa each but she who is the main sponsor was denied on the basis that she submitted her UK bank statement. She said she explained the source of how she had the funds in her account. She got admission in Canada and paid tuition fees but was refused visa so the school refunded the money back into her uk account. So she kept it there as a saving she can always fall back to whenever. But she works in her fathers company who happens to be my father inlaw and submitted payslips, employment letter and intro letter from the office. Now the VO says how come she has money in her UK account and resides in Nigeria and works here too; note she used to be a student in the Uk and has since returned home lastyr and she is so pissed cos she wrote a cover letter how she got the money. What should she do as she wants to resubmit. She says she has email correspondence from the school in canada when they wanted to refund her money, also receipt of her payment confirmation from the school in Canada. What do you advice?

@Jommy26 U mean the refusal email came from croydon office ehya am so sorry. Lets say u earn 250k and monthly expense of 30k is off then u ll have to work with 460k dts 2mnths. If u spend more dan 2mnths of ur income den the ECO will have issues with your application again ask @Justwise for more clarifications. Regards!

Jommy26:
Thank you for the encouragement. You mean income after monthly expenses deducted?

@Jommy26 was the refusal email correspondence from Croydon or Sheffield? Because its really surprising thou @Justwise that UKVI now sends refusal via email. It usually does send approval or denial alongsides one's passport. Guess this a new approach from UKVI. Sorry for your refusal.

Jommy26:

The refusal letter was received through mail after 10 days of biometric.

Hello mamas in the house....just a quick one so my cousin came from Lag to Abuja for her interview this morning and was ridiculously refused by one African lady at window 10. She didnt know why. Thus goes her transcript pls kindly help disect what the hell happened as my cuz is so angry.

Vo-Morning
Her-Goodmorning
Vo-Passport please
Her-gives her
Vo-Are you single or married?
Her-married ma'am
Vo-Have you got any kids

Vo-when did u return and how long did you stay
She-2months ago/2years postgrad studies!
Vo-can i see your old passport
Her- gives her
Vo- kept flipping thru and starts asking stupid questions wt jealousy and said but d duration blah blah blah.
Her-yes dts the visa vignette that enabled me enter the uk before receiving my residence permit card.
Vo-kept repeating same thing as if her life depended on it (as thou my cousin is lieing after explaining to her dt d visa is just to let her in bfr receiving her biometric residence permit) upon arrival in the Uk she looked at it acted as thou she was gonna issue the visa then gv her back her passport wt the refusal letter.

NOTE-: My cousin was given a study visa vignette dt enables her to arrive in the UK then upon arrival pick up her biometric residence permit thats issued normally and legally to students by UK visa office called home office. So her course plus extra 4months validity added to student visas. Her visa was to expire 23rd of July this year and she did left on 20th to Nigeria. She didnt overstay her visa please rather she left days before expiry date on her residence permit card.

My cousin is so pissed as to why the vo wont just have asked her to bring the residence permit proof since dt seems to be her problem because seems have read here once that when they want one to bring or show a proof or document then they give another form and timeframe for the applicant to bring it. Please what do you all think is the problem here? And what can she do?

They are always looking for a way to refuse people these days,so once they are not satisfied with your answers, they refuse immediately. salsera:

The OP tale is not clear.
The only way her cousin could have BRP is that a legal resident with ILR or citizenship filed for her very likely her spouse. With a BRP any child born from that marriage will claim the citizenship of her spouse. And NHS covers the healthcare costs. So why would such a person want to have a child in the US. Besides she could easily have applied for US visa in the UK..i mean even students in the UK can apply for US visa from the UK and be given with no long story.
That story doesn't add up either her cousin is not telling the whole story or the OP missed out a few details.

@overlord77 The bolded statement is correct.
overlord77:

That you read it there doesn't mean you must now go and get a letter for something you are not being treated for. There is no need to mislead, just tell them you want to go give birth, which is the truth. Anything else you are trying to get here is purely an attempt to mislead/deceive.

That's my opinion though

I read on the US embassy website under documents required for a B2 visa that one should provide a letter from a Nigerian doctor stating the condition and treatment option and that such condition cannot be adequately treated in Nigeria.

I chose Ikorodu as City, Lagos as state and Nigeria as country of birth. But when i submitted it for him it shows on the confirmation page just ikorodu Nigeria but removed the Lagos there. And on my hubbys passport place of birth is Lagos pls would there be a problem when he submits at the embassy. Should he quickly fill another ds160 form before he books his appointment date. OmoBendel24:

Abuja is very much available for October and December, Lagos is "fully booked for the year", but a good monitoring strategy will still still get you even a September/October date, quite difficult but possible.... I also believe that dates are blocked by those in charge for now, and that every now and then loads of dates get freed up, so be on the lookout!
