LagosInter: So much noise about Anambra Airport. What we need is a functional seaport in Anambra.
Anambra is the commercial hub of the East and filled with business men and importers.
The effect will be felt even in North central like Kogi, Benue and South south too like Delta.
It will be more beneficial to the Eastern economy and development as it will drastically reduce the cost of importation thereby reducing the cost of goods.
It will also create jobs for the people.
How can only Tincan- Apapa be the only functional seaport in a country that depends almost solely on imported items with over 200m population?
Apapa is congested and this is part of what is making Lagos a hell because of influx of people in the state.
This is long overdue.
I agree with you 100% that we need a seaport but the airport we have now is a very nice initiative. Thank God the airport is built already. Seaport will come later. Anambra Amaka if not cult related voilence..

The misconception is that all Yorubas voted against Jonathan but in reality, a very good number voted for Jonathan though he received over 80% of Yoruba votes in 2011......so long for the cries of Yorubas Hatred towards Jonathan. I was once a happy guy with a bright future but marriage is practically killing me. It all started when I become sick and was admitted in a hospital. my aged mother was the person staying with me and was responsible for my everything. inside the ward, another patient was with this very beautiful girl that was very hard working, my condition was critical that my mother will have to bath me sometimes, this girl now started helping my mother and to a point, my mother will leave her to be taking care of me and go home.
I become close to her, but i use to think that she just pity my condition and wanted to help so I did not think of having any relationship with her. I was later discharge and went home but since we exchange our contacts earlier, we use to talk often. I asked her one day to visit me which she agreed. To my surprise, this girl brought some provision for me and slept over in my house. she continue visiting till one day, I told her that if i was strong and capable, I would have loved to date her. she confessed instantly that she was really interested in me and did not care about my condition. According to her, she was born in a poor family and can handle the pressure of been broke, that she will be the happiest person if I love her back the way she loves me. I was moved with her words and to cut the story short, we started dating.
Her parents were highly against the relationship initially but when they become tired of us, they allow us to do our thing but never involve them if something happened. fast to December last year, we got married. I was not even able to pay 1h to her parents. she just pack her things and join me in my house. we were the happiest couple on Earth till things started going north.
First, we agreed to do many things in the farm against hunger next year, we started with melon farm, then groundnut and yams. we were still on this and I must confess that she is hard working but pregnancy came and this girl started misbehaving, she will not follow me to the farm again and will not even cook for me. I dare not complain cos she will insult me seriously. sometimes, I will tell my sister to cook but this girl will not eat it because the food is bad.
One night, she sent me out of the room in the night that I must get bananas for her to eat. I suffered that night till I got it from one woman on credit cos I was not having money on me. last month, she was sick and visited one private clinic, I was to give her 10k for her treatment but did not have the money so I told her to give me 4days to look for it, there was no insult I did not receive that night. I have to sell my yam seeds and pay. infact, I'm tired of this life presently cos i use to think that she will help me but the reverse is the case now.
Please I need advice on the way forward, I want to run away from home but she is pregnant, her people refused to help us too cos they warned her before.

I have been dating my girlfriend for 8months now and the relationship was going smoothly until she started showing me her real colour which I didn't really see to be anything because I think for relationship to move forward you have to tolerate each other, but the one that pains me most is each time I talk to her about issues she will get angry when she knows she is wrong and she will want me to apologize to her for her wrong which I keep complaining about. I will call her privately and she will still want me to apologize to her. So today after church we decided to do some home cleaning and she brought out some trash to burn outside ...while burning them the fire extended to a near by bush and the fire was allover the place, I quickly came outside to put off the fire and I was angry & I shouted at her that why will she burn trash in the afternoon when she is aware that its not Good. She took I as offense and went inside. so I went into the room to continue with what I was doing, after like 30mins I discover that the food she was cooking was already burning. And I was because I shouted at her dats why she took I as offense?? So I got angry and told her that since she doesn't want to stop this her character that she will go and meet DOS that will tolerate her. She got up and went straight to the room to carry her bag that she was going, I stop her not to go any where and she went and pick knife that she will stab me, if I don't leave the road for her to go. I thought she was joking and I told her to drop my things before leaving my house bcose I wouldn't look for her again. She den use her bag to hit me and even use the knife on me and blood started coming from that spot. I got angry and took my ATM from her and throw her things out of my House. So she started using words on me that am a woman beater.
NOTE: this is not the first or second time she has been USING KNIFE AND OTHER SHARP OJECT TO THREATEN ME EACH TIME WE HAVE ISSUE

It was early August of 2020 when I got an invitation text to come for an interview in newly established entertainment industry here in the East.
We numbered over 300 who came for the interview and after much screening, 62 staff were selected.
The daily training was intense and interesting too because of the Manager we had, he was so detailed and funny also.
Amongst trainees were beautiful ladies of all shapes and sizes and intelligence. The first day I saw my girlfriend, I didn't feel anything, she's very young and beautiful and opposing too (one of my likes about women). I realize she's a little opinionated, hence she got my attention.
We were all given appointment letter to our various positions. Mine was what I applied for but my gf didn't get hers, she was rather given something else. She came to me to complain since we are now friends and I told her that maybe the reason why she wasn't given the position she wanted was because she's short (Sarcastically, but I meant it)
She got angry and opposed me (I have a thing for women who oppose actions, especially when they have reasons). I apologized and we got along....... Boom we started dating.
#FASTFOWARD# The next month, I got promoted to one of the managers, everyone was happy for me. I have been a senior staff for like 8 months now and I must tell you that it has been a terrible experience.
My girlfriend is choking the hell out of me at work. She's very lukewarm in terms of carrying out her duties, when I confront her to do her work, she will tell me that I'm being too harsh on her. How can you litter your department like this and go home? she will tell me she's tired, I will have to assign someone else to do it, but it's her duty.
This keeps happening all the time, if I shout at her at work (when she gets on my nerves) she won't talk to me again for weeks and she won't greet me at work. If I ask her questions about sales, she won't reply me.
The most recent one was her and her colleagues misbehaving and I queried them, others replied my query, but she didn't. I wanted to let go, but one of the senior staff asked about her own reply to the query. I was forced to surcharge her N5,000 since she didn't reply, that means she's guilty. After I served her the letter, she got angry and said "all the managers in this company are stupid" she said this to my face. Something she can't say to other managers.
Mehn! I was so furious and I was walking away when she threw her book at me, in front of other junior staff. OMG!...... I just walked away. She's still keeping malice (her specialty) with me. I am not happy with her either.
I keep avoiding her so as not to get into more of what we are. But the work is suffering because of her dereliction. Currently, I don't know how to tell her I don't want to be with her again, but I love her.
My advice Never date at your place of work especially when you are bossing over her!
Keep loving her. Treat her the way she wants. Spoil her and assign other people to do her work. Let her job be collecting salaries. Your eyes go clear when you loose your job. There is always a clear cut boundary in everything. Once you fail to observe and keep the necessary boundary you are clearly a kid. Stop dating kids.
