Well we havent lost it to Serie A yet, but a repeat of last season's performances wont help us. Juve getting to the finals and no EPL team getting to even the semis will see us lose our spot pretty soon.

Yeah, but the big difference is Arsenal have a lot of pace in their attack that Newcastle are struggling to deal with. We have no pace in our attack so it was easy for them to contain us.

Just awful. Let's not pretend that LvG has a clue what he's doing. He absolutely does not. He has assembled an awful single paced team. With what he has spent the performances and the lineup is a disgrace. Every tom dick and harry can see we badly need a striker and some change of pace in the team except LvG.

Unfortunately we have to watch him turn us into Arsenal or Liverpool.

Sometimes,we like to make simple things unnecessarily complex. Some things are obvious. Players who would very obviously improve us by 10-20% minimum.

If LvG spent all this time chasing pedro and then decided at the last minute that he no longer fancies him. It shows indecision and that I cannot trust.

My confidence in him has definitely wavered.

I know the money isn't the issue. But we dithered because we spent over a month chasing players LvG wasnt 100% on. That's a waste of time and resources when we could have pursued other targets and settled them into the team/country by now. That affects us more than helps us. Otamendi and pedro would have probably improved us by a huge amount.

Seems we took defeat from the jaws of victory in this transfer window. City increase the gap between us and them with a player we need while Chelsea are about to do the same. I guess LvG is happy with another fight for the 4th spot again.

Romero will be a problem this season. I really don't think we can rely on him to be our number 1 if we want to challenge for the title.

Smalling our most consistent player so far. Hope he stays injury free.

Good to see Memphis off the mark with 2 good goals, more to come hopefully.

Well, its because Aston Villa were not good tonight, Blind isn't sharp to stop balls, and he lacks speed. He was good tonight, but he is still the weak link. That RB guy is a beast, shaw too is cool, while Smalling is our best defender.
