I do not blame LVG for this di maria issue. ADM has great quality but has always been inconsistent over the course of a league season . Also if there ever was a player who was the antithesis of LVG'S philosophy it is di maria with his occasional idiotic out of control runs.
I would be happy if we kept him for a 2nd make or break 2nd season but i am equally happy if we sold him and got quality replacement.

Those runs are precisely why LvG bought him. They are not idiotic. They are supposed to provide a spark and change of pace to LvG's passing possession style. It didn't work out that well but its just such a shame to give up on it after one season.

That's a shame. Di María did that. Not turning up for the tour as agreed is very unprofessional. I really want him to stay but if he's going to behave like that after our investment in him then he can leave.

Liverpool sign Benteke. I'm actually a little bit worried about Liverpool. They've made some pretty decent signings this off season and they look much much stronger than last season. Benteke and Clyne in particular are good improvements to their team.

We really need to hit the ground running at the start of the season.

Well LvG is right. The shirt is currently Valencia's and its up to Darmian to displace him. I'm not fan of Valencia but I dont have a problem with this approach. Darmian has to earn that RB shirt. He has come to a new country and a new league, he will need some time to adjust but he needs to know that he has to work very very hard and perform at a high level to gain his spot. i dont want anyone thinking they have an awoof shirt at Man utd.

Oga, i never told you i am LVG, But recent developments should have made it clear he will be manning our goal post this season. hopefully, He will sign the 200,000k per week contract this year.

He wont. Its more likely he'll stay for one more year then leave for Real Madrid on a free next summer. As long as he gives us his best for one more year. I wont complain. That's more useful than the money from Real to us this season.

Dont get me wrong, I'm not complainig about LvG. We all know him and his rep. SAF was pretty similar also. There is a nastiness that comes with that type of drive and winning mentality.

As long as I see him dancing in victory next summer. Happy days.

He's not a striker but he can play off the striker. Considering we'll mostly be using 1 upfront as we are blessed with so many attacking players. I see Di maria likely to create space if we went for a Cavani etc.

i think we'll sign a CB and use Rooney, Hernandez and Wilson and take stock in January.

All in all we better win the league next season ooo.

I think its a little unrealistic to expect to win the league because we're signing so many new players. So far we have signed 3 players and need another 3 ( Keeper,CB and Striker) so with 6 new players we're expecting/assuming they will gel and all start performing straight away. It doesnt always work like that. I'm expecting a title challenge for sure because of what we've spent but Chelsea and City are the more settled and established teams so they'll be the ones to beat.

With the current additions we'll be lucky to finish 3rd. We still lack goals. We badly need a 25 goal striker plus the DDG situation not been resolved.
