I'll take Ramos. Just because he was outpaced by one of the fastest players in the world doesnt mean he's lost it.
Its not ideal that he's 29 already though but he'll bring a wealth of experience and leadership.

Sky are claiming united have bid £28.6m for Ramos.

Seems Arsenal have signed Cech. I really rate Cech but i think I'll be happier with iloris who plays alot quicker off his line in the sweeper keeper style LvG prefers.

I'm not going to deny I'm still okay with Evans being part of the squad. He still a decent squad player and I'll always have a soft spot for him because he's from the youth team.

that fixture list isn't decent at all.....

the way to assess it is to look at the games coming after the midweek european games. only 2 of those 6 league games are at OT after UCL tie. the others are away from home. it means we could be flying from spartak moscow on wednesday to face stoke @britannia by noon on saturday.

That's only really oct and november that might be affected. but its also assuming we'll be playing away in the CL and away to Stoke in the same week. That's why I said as it is, it looks decent. when CL fixtures are released and we hopefully qualify that's when we'll assess the fixtures. I'm also assuming the squad size and quality will increase to handle the increased demands.

On paper, those fixtures look very good for us. Our start is decent and our last 10 or so fixtures has only City from the top 4. I just hope we dont conspire to shoot ourselves in the foot against the smaller teams like this last season.
