I guess Moyes is just starting to scout and identify his targets now. Anyone tell him this could be done before 1st of January? ![]() |
SailorXY: We both know that price is a christmas wish even Santa can't grant.Shaw is excellent. Kinda like Rafael on the left side. high energy and gets up and down the left flank as well. Very young as well but has also had a few injury issues. To be honest outside of man utd, Rafa isnt highly rated by most but I think hes excellent and I think Shaw is the same. |
SailorXY: Moyes should try & get Fabio again this winter on a permanent buy. If he doesn't succeed, he should entrust that position to Fabio & Buttner by alternating them let's see who can really rise up to the challenge.I dont know if Contreao is the answer either. Baines i think would be a decent buy if under £15m. I think Luke Shaw would be preferable but he's Chelsea's by all accounts. So I really dont know. I still think Evra is a huge personality at the club and still a very good attacking presence but defensively he's really exposing us. |
So are we going to keep ignoring the Evra issue? Are going to assume its burnout and fatigue that's responsible for his form? Im a huge Evra fan but Im starting to get worried about his performances. |
A bad but Unsurprising result, again. oh well.Season is over. Let's see how we do in the cups. |
Happy new year guys. May 2014 bring us all the success our hearts desire to you your family and the Manchester United family. ![]() |
Anyway, DM has said RVP not ready for spurs match and Rooney faces a late fitness test tomorrow morning. So not looking good for both of them. I don't think we'll beat spurs without at least one of Rooney or RVP. Just hope we can keep it tight at the back but I'm not looking forward to it. Cleverley will be glad to hear that Paulinho is out. |
Happy Birthday to Sir Alex. ![]() |
4llerbuntu: at this point you cats need to make up your minds about moyes. If you think Moyes is replicating Fergie's moves blow for blow then it means you've never watched united under Fergie. |
Merry Christmas to you all. ![]() Come on united. |
By the way, on the Christmas card we're sending Moyes, can we let him know that Fabio is a real person and not a reflection of Rafael? ![]() |
Honestly not even sure who I want to win between Arsenal and Chelsea. Not sure I care to be honest. |
Fellaini is out for 2 months after his wrist surgery. I'm thankful for this. Here hoping he's out for the season as well. |
Another reason why I have no faith in Moyes. Barkley was there, but he thought better to spend nearly 30m on Fellaini. |
SailorXY: How about when the burn out sets in, what will keep them going then?Well I guess that's where the manager earns his pay. I don't think they'll fall away easily. Just as I think we've made too much of a mess of this season for a top 4 finish. |
SailorXY: Everton just got their fitness to count on, I see nothing special hereWell they seem to get results regardless of if they're playing well or not. That's a special quality to me. |
Can we pls open another thread to discuss Kompany and Bayern Munich? I really don't care for those 2. I've come to this thread to discuss Manchester United and our failures this season. Thanks. Only non man united chat that should be allowed here is the Super Eagles. |
We still can't hold on to the ball, even against Stoke. |
Still no Nani ? |
I definitely see city beating Barca. I'm sure Barca are also not pleased with the draw. |
Arsenals fixtures around the Bayern matches are crazy though. Premier league doesn't help unlike bundesliga that will allow Bayern play on a Friday and hammer some team 6-0 with their second string side. |
coded guy: Like play like play Moyes go win champ league.I'm sure you couldn't even say that with a straight face. ![]() |
Good draws but again I don't trust Moyes to get past Olympiacos. Looking forward to the other ties as well as it's seems arsenal have it all to do in the month of March with spurs,Chelsea and City as well as Bayern. |
Here's hoping Moyes is next. |
Gutted spurs sacked avb. They might get someone that can do well with 100m worth of talent. ![]() |
coogar: if we win our next 3 games, we would be in top four by first week in january. our fixtures going into christmas are the easiest. the teams at the top get to play each other from now till january.Thats coz he wont. He'll find a way to make a mess of things some how. just praying Spurs dont sack AVB now. |
elampiro: So how does anything that transpired today meant Rooney is a problem to our attack? I want to know.I think you might want to log off the forums for a while and change your Rooney boxers and bedsheets while you're at it. |
Its going to be very difficult to get into the top 4 this year. ![]() |
I missed today's match but just seen the goals. I heard Evra had another less than impressive match. So a few questions; 1) Should we start to worry about him? 2)Should the club be thinking about replacing him in January 3)or wait till summer? 4) If so, is Baines the answer? if not who? Im a huge Evra fan as I think hes such a experienced personality at the club but I think his powers are on the wane, and its getting quite drastic. |
Steve Clarke sacked. You cant even have one good season and one dodgy one anymore. harsh. |
They are obviously not playing a proper match. So else has Moyes broken from the first team squad apart from RVP? Heard rumours of Vidic and Evra being doubts. |
elampiro: 'The happy one' is not finding his return smooth. Chelsea is so dull today. Palace able to restrict Chelsea to few threats while creating chances of their own. That may be true, but the happy one would still get results more often than not. |
