Well no, Gerrard is obviously better than Lampard. |
Important win but very wasteful performance. Happy with kagawa's performance but he really should have scored that chance. Rooney was also very wasteful. Happy Fellaini wasn't on the pitch and Giggs actually played well even though I didn't want to see him in the match. I really hope Kagawa starts a run of matches now. |
We're closer to the relegation zone than to the top. i dont think we can talk about top 4 yet. We need to try winning some matches first to get some form and see where that takes us. |
coogar: you are joking, right?I agree that Moyes made the wrong subs. Moyes isnt going anywhere as much as we'd like to think otherwise. So the club need to get better players to give him the best chance of a better team. We have to also accept we've thrown nearly £30m down the drain in Fellaini. |
chamotex: 27.5m...This is our reality. Money down the drain. ![]() |
chamotex: We have not seen anythng yetHe took Rooney off, What's the problem? |
We did well considering we played most of the match with 10 men. I've never seen a midfielder get dominated so much in my life like Fellaini. Passing, tackling everything. He was just the worst player on the pitch. Not going to blame him though. DM is mostly culpable. We cannot keep fooling ourselves with Welbeck and a few others. Simply not good enough if we want to be a force in the league and Europe. We need to be more ruthless with the squad. So far, DM cannot get the best of out them so he has to find players he can get more out of. On to the next one. |
Interesting lineup. A little worried by the lack of Vidic but hopefully they all bring the A game. |
Januzaj has signed a 5 yr deal. good start to the weekend. |
RVP. Is a doubt. As is Welbeck. Would like to see Rooney as the main 9 with Kagawa behind him, I'm assuming our citizen of 10 nations Januzaj will start on the left with Nani on the right. Hoping for something like DDG RAfa Evans/Jones Vidic Evra Carrick Fellaini Nani Kagawa Januzaj Rooney |
GustavoFring: ^^This is life without Baba ![]() |
I think you're doing soton a disservice. Not making excuses but they have heavily invested in the squad and have been playing well. They also have one of the brightest young prospects in the country in Luke Shaw so I think it's a little unfair to expect it to be an easy 3 pointer, even against the other title contenders soton will give them all a game. |
Actually Very nervous about the soton game. They've had a very good start to the season and we're still trying to find our feet. We really need to start kicking on from here on but no one knows what to expect under DM at the moment. Here's hoping sha... Come on united. |
@Starboard,i agree. We should temper the expectation.but at the same time.its a known fact that the wolves are circling Januzaj, and his agent must be licking his lips and adjusting his belt. If we don't throw the riches at the kid, along with game time of course. We will lose him. We don't exactly look the most attractive option compared to the other big guns so we need to do all we can to ensure we don't lose anymore talent. With regards to England, England ko,Team GB ni, see their nose like England player. Here's hoping he plays for Belgium or any other. |
Firstly, I will shoot David Moyes and Woodward if we lose Januzaj to anyone. If that kid is not tied up to a contract and handed the united number 7 shirt, there will be hell to pay. The Sunderland win was huge required for confidence in a difficult away match. I know it's only Sunderland but it was hugely required. We need more from our strikers Rooney and RVP and midfield is still sluggish to retrieving the ball. Important win, on to the next one. |
I fear that Fellaini might not be the player I was hoping we would sign. ![]() He just looks the definition of cumbersome and ungainly. Almost wish we signed Cabaye instead. I think we need 3 players in and 3 out. Tough point but not bad. On to the next one. |
Here's hoping for more success in October. ![]() |
Carrick is awesome and I'm a huge fan but he's 32 and never really been an aggressive combative midfielder which we need badly. So I wouldn't mind if we got someone in to replace him. |
Obviously the results and performances aren't good, but I'm still prepared to give Moyes time to sort it. Still back him to succeed unless we finish outside the top 4 this season. |
Anyone called Fergie to find out if he's busy? I need to speak to him about a small favour if he's free for about 6 months. ![]() |
Yep, that was bad. Really really bad. Moyes in trouble. Ma utd in trouble. |
DDG,jones, rio,Evans, butter,Nani, carrick, anderson,Kagawa,Rooney and Hernandez. Interesting lineup |
If you think overall valencia has been the best then im going to assume you didnt see the 09/10 season and 10/11 seasons. |
So if Nani isnt our best winger who is? ![]() |
The reality is that football is not played with numbers. If it was we'd have mathematics professors as managers and not football people. |
Good to see we can roll out our 5th choice lineup + the under 12s and still beat the scousers. ![]() |
BinghiNya: and what has nani done in man u all his years, if he were up to scratch young, zaha, valencia wouldn't have been boughtAre you serious with this post? |
Jon's and Giggs in midfield ![]() It's like SAF. Never left. |
Hmmm, Liverpool going all out with their first 11. |
Goes to show you can prove anything with stats. |
coogar: like i said on sunday, our weakness came from the smalling/valencia axis. even dailymail carried the news that fellaini battered toure to a pulp. if we had rafael & valencia wasn't such a tool on the day, we woulda kept things tighter at the back.I suggest you stop reading the daily mail. |
It's all Aguero's fault. I always have nightmares about him. |
