montelik: we need special prayers to help Fellaini, he is all over place. only useful from set pieces.
What use has he been at set pieces?

We are awful. Fellaini is short one.

So Jones injured as well now. We have Anderson, Fellaini, Cleverly and Giggs for the middle spots.

Jesus grab the wheel. undecided

nitrogen: Compensate ke? We don't need that boy to replace scoring goals and holding the ball with running from one post to the other, that guy is just one of our numerous problems, yesterday, he was worst, infact, he was dispossessed easily, he lost the ball many times and he couldn't even pass the ball to a close player, Imagine a 'million pounds per month player' with qualities of a 'hundred thousand pounds per month player'. Arrant nonsense!

PS. I like the boy o, but when e reach time to talk the truth, it is necessary to just talk am.
Fair enough.

Rooneys first touch wasn't very good yesterday as was his passing but I guess the effort was enough to compensate.so I'll overlook that.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by MrTA(m): 10:27pm On Nov 10, 2013
@coogar, I agree with you a little but don't share a lot of your confidence. The weakness in midfield is still there and the lack of pace through the side is still an issue. I expect we might be good enough to finish in the top 4 as our best case scenario but without serious surgery we won't be pulling up tree when if matters with this squad and unless Moyes becomes a very fast learner.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by MrTA(m): 9:42pm On Nov 10, 2013
Well that was pleasing and very surprising. I'm still getting thoughts together but we still need more from our midfield. I feel we should have kept jones in the middle and brought on Nani, shift Valencia RB to give us something going forward from fullback and a fresh Nani running them ragged. With Smalling replacing Vidic. I've still been very dubious of Moyes' subs but he got the result today so he must be commended.

Hopefully onwards and upwards.

Too bad we play Arsenal next. undecided That win will have their confidence and belief sky high.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by MrTA(m): 11:00pm On Nov 05, 2013
coogar: before tonight's game, we needed 4 points. a win tonight & at least a point in the next match would have put us through.

now that we could only managed a draw, the least requirement in the next game is a win. we have to win in germany to qualify.

please remove fellaini, anderson & young from that list. they have done really well with limited opportunities. you can sell the others on the list tomorrow.

even roy keane said fellaini was excellent tonight & was unlucky with the cards.
I have to disagree with you there. I might remove Anderson from the list as he's a good player I like, just unlucky but Young and Fellaini are awful and shouldnt be wearing the Manchester united shirt.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by MrTA(m): 10:44pm On Nov 05, 2013
Well I wont be watching the Arsenal match. I'll still support the club but I cant deal with us getting destroyed by Arsenal. Fortunately Im off from work on Monday.

We need major surgery this summer.
Young
Valencia
Giggs
Fellaini
Anderson

At the very least need to go.

StarBoard: How will I forget?
We hired someone to help us plug the hole in our midfield, he made it larger.
We might be lucky with Fella, like Evra and Vidic who also had a baptism of fire in a derby against city? Here's hoping.

mhozzis: I don't understand the buzz about this nexus device
- Costs half the price of similar devices like the samsung S4,HTC one and iphone.
- made by Google (+ an OEM, this time LG) who use is to release the latest version of Android and showcase what they want Android to look like.
- Runs without any bloatware and runs much smoother than its counterparts.
- Will be the first to get any future android updates

coogar: stop being a pessimist....
van persie, rooney, kagawa, carrick, evra, rafael, etc are capable of stopping & beating arsenal. 3 points win for us won't dethrone arsenal & they should be weary after lewandowski must have carved them apart.

we should get the carling cup boys to do justice to that tie. the league is more important at this stage & i hope moyes didn't rest giggs/rio today because he is starting them against arsenal.
I don't think I'm being pessimistic considering how we've performed this season so far. You've listed good players but how many of them have given consistent performances in matches this season particularly in the big games. They will dominate possession as they're stronger in the middle and recycle possession better. Even when we were beating them they always dominated possession because SAF knew he didnt need the ball to beat Arsenal that they would shoot themselves in the foot. We know longer have that advantage so I dont know how Moyes will bring out a big game performance from this team.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by MrTA(m): 8:54pm On Nov 02, 2013
Well we wont beat Arsenal next week so you might as well forget about that.
Moyes is not someone who can win big matches away from home.
He's bound to get it tactically wrong V Arsenal and not use Fergie's template which he laid down to beat Arsenal.
Essential Moyes hasnt got a clue how to setup the team to play on the counter and that's the only way we'll beat Arsenal if everyone is on their game.

Small matter of the CL game against Sociedad away before that although Arsenal also have to face Dortmund in Germany so that should help us a little atleast.

I would prefer jones and cleverly in the middle v fulham. Vidic and Evans at the back. Rafa and Evra fullbacks

Huge win for Chelsea. Still my favourites for the title. City only 2points ahead of us despite our disastrous start to the season. We really need Moyes to buck up his ideas but get results as I'm not confident of top 4 at all. He also needs to make the January window count and not make it a farce like the summer.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by MrTA(m): 6:51pm On Oct 26, 2013
Harsh to blame DDG for the free kick.just such an excellent strike. Very flat with lots of power.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by MrTA(m): 6:18pm On Oct 26, 2013
That was a hard watch initially and just relief at the end.

I think Smalling should have played in the middle with Jones at RB.
Nani was poor which is a shame as I expect he'll be dropped now.
The win just papered over the cracks but I hope it can spur us on to a bit of form till January.
I have to say despite the win I've almost lost all faith in Moyes. I still don't think he's the man to take us forward in a new era.
I'll still like to give him time but I just hope he doesn't make irreparable damage to the team and we realise it too late.

On to the next one.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by MrTA(m): 12:48pm On Oct 25, 2013
I like Carrick a lot but I view him as a different type of player to Lampard,Gerrad and scholes. He doesn't make runs into the box or carry the ball he's a deep lying playmaker, a pirlo more than anything else. May as well compare Cristiano to Zlatan.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by MrTA(m): 12:39pm On Oct 25, 2013
If I was playing a central midfield 2 then no I wouldn't pick Gerrard but if I was playing a midfield 3, I would pick Gerrard ahead of Lampard.

Scholes>Gerrard>Lampard a footballers.
