larride: We are average in the league this season. We are not average in the Europa League. We are the only unbeaten team remaining in all of Europe competition.
We fully deserve to be in the final by virtue of our performance in the Europa league and we fully deserve to be where we are on the PL table. I didnt even see that you said average in the league. If you consider that the 3 relegated teams are pretty much championship level teams. We along with Spurs are the worst teams in the division. I think that qualifies us for atrocious, disastrous in the league not average. |

ChristineC: well that's not a factual claim. he may or may not have what it takes, but there's only one way to find out. I don't think quitting will look good on his CV. if the club is quiet on the transfer market, then the public idea is that they expect Amorim to develop the team from youth. if that's the resolution, then I'd like to believe he gets more than enough rope over the years. whereas if he's backed in the market, then we get the idea on expectations as well. Of course its not a factual claim. Just an opinion like yours. Is that not what we're all doing here? |

CrystalTiger: That his interview is looking like he's not going to get players..
But why do you think he should resign? I think he knows he hasnt got what it takes to improve this squad and there isnt enough money to fix the issues with the squad so he is the one going to take the blame. He is not going to leave this club with his reputation intact so probably best to walk on his terms and with a trophy if he gets it. |

None of the clubs deserves UCL spot next season but rules are rules. UCL is meant for Gladiators not Weaklings. Bilbao we beat home and away are 4th in Laliga. DO they deserve CL football next season? |

larride: What else do you expect the manager to say? That the game are meaningless or what?
If they ask you which game is more important between the Europa League final and yesterday game, which will you chose? I think the point is, its not and should not be either or. You cannot have your team losing matches continuously because they have a final coming. Its very easy to carry that losing streak into the final. |

Patrickmuf1: Whoever said it is going to magically fix everything...A UCL spot guarantees we can spend more and attract players of a high quality, which is good for the team, so I don't understand what you mean by path to destruction...
Even if Amorim plays our best 11, they will be very cautious because, whether he likes it or not, the players know where our priority lies and none of them will like to sustain an injury that will see them miss the UEL final.
PSG was supposed to do an unbeaten season, but as soon as they won the league, they cared less about Ligue 1; even when Enrique fielded his best 11, they lost to Nice some weeks back. Its a path to destruction because history has always shown you cannot consistently pick and choose when you raise your game for matches. The losing mentality is settling into the players and also helping our opponents who not only see where we are on the table but know we have not won a league match against a non relegated team since January. Winning mentality is extremely important. 17 league defeats is not helping. |

Patrickmuf1: All we need is a ticket to the UCL, that's where the money is...At this point, finishing a position or two higher is inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. Let the players use the remaining games to build fitness for those who need it. Honestly, this attitude is a path to destruction for the club. Good thing Amorim has seen it as well. A europa league win isnt going to magically fix everything. |

Patrickmuf1: What exactly will a win, a loss, or a draw do for the team?
Is it too hard for you guys to wait for the UEL final before you start? I am sure when we win the final, some of you will begin to speak in tongues unknown to man. A win does a lot actually. Confidence momentum etc ahead of a final. Also getting used to so many defeats is not good for any team. Not to talk of the difference in prize money for league positions when we know money is already tight. Even if we win the Europa League final, its not going to make everything ok. It doesn't work like that. |

CapitalCee: Yoro is a World class players in waiting.
Garnacho has played himself into the bench.
I think the final first eleven is almost Sorted. The only issue we have now is Hojlund.
Dorgu was abysmal, Maguire, Ugarte and Lindelof are dogshit.
Bruno and Casemiro only came alive after the substitutions.
For me, for the Final.
Onana; Yoro, Maguire, Deligt, Mazraoui, Dorgu; Bruno, Casemiro, Amad, Mount and Hojlund.
If Dorgu and Hojlund is our week point. Zirkzee would have suited Spurs more. Is Dalot out for the season? |

odizeey: Chido not being ready, my question is to the person who says he's not ready.
We are in a state where we need these academy players to play more. Our first team players are either useless or injured.
You'll introduce an academy player and he turns up but in the next game you won't play him to build up.
See how arsenal are using MLS and Nwaneri? I do agree that our academy players need to be used more. I over did it by saying Chido is clearly not ready so I take that back, That was wrong. but at the same time, I don't want us to bring in these kids into a bad situation that will hamper their development. Being ready doesn't mean they still wont need development and we can see how bad that can go if not done properly and in the right environment. |

I like Cunha. I'm guessing he's for one of the behind the striker roles rather than the main striker role. He's also a bit of a bastard which we need in the squad. He's also a good age. As long as he's not our only attacking signing I'm ok with it. He's a bit crazy though. |
