Exactly what Afrodoc said. Letting Sancho rot on the bench also doesnt help us and further reduces our leverage. we were the ones that gave him a huge contract. Now he has a year left on his deal. he can just wait it out and be a free agent next season.

Bruno will either be one of the 2 CMs or will be gone for 100m.

Mount is the difficult one. He is the one who might challenge Zirkzee for the substitute role in the left 10 position.

Garnacho is gone. The club are willing to sell him and he himself sounds tired of the on and off love. He is also our 2nd best route to raising funds after the Bruno offer from Saudi.

7 players for 3 positions is not a bad idea considering the possibility of injuries.

The 4 new players will be replacing Rashford, Sancho, Antony, Garnacho, Hojlund (5 players).

Zirkzee can be a good bench option as a left 10 in Amorim's 3-4-3. Cunha to start and Zirkzee on the bench. He can be a 3rd option CF if the first 2 options can't play.

So assuming, we get Delap, Cunha, Mbeumo. Sell Holjund. You think Zirkzee will get a enough playing time? considering, we'll still have Mount,Bruno, Amad who can do a job there (assuming Garnacho is gone).

Cunha, Mbeumo and Delap would definitely be an interesting regeneration of the attack.

I would not sell Bruno for £100m but I would not be upset if the club decided to do it.

All the criticism of him was that he was poor in midfield which he was. In his last season under ETH, He was crashing the box and getting goals for us when he was played in a more advanced role. I think he got 10 goals or so. The problem is we always played him in a midfield pivot. Most of his time in the academy, he played in advanced positions or sometimes even striker and he showed it for the first team as long as you dont have him in midfield trying to control play he can be a useful goal getter.

Amorim wants Garnacho out.

I agreed with pretty much everything you said except the players arent bad. I don't fully disagree because you're right they're not bad players but this squad of players are not good enough for what they're expected to do and achieve. This is very clear and evident.

Yes, they should not be 16th position bad but if you think they're good enough to be top 4 in the league then I don't know what to tell you.

So happy for McTominay. Even in his last season with us, he showed us how useful he could be if only we used him properly. Funny that he would have probably been a great fit for Amorim's so called system as one of the 10s crashing the box and getting goals. But he has moved on and life is so much better for him.
