Man messed up big time. Malacia for Shaw would have been very helpful (re preventing Arsenal from scoring in the last 10mins). Saka was literarily eating Shaw on the pitch. Maguire and Lindelof were there too, just remove some tired forwards and midfielders and bring on fresh legs to aid our defensive play.

I dont think you should get too down about the defeat. I hate losing to Arsenal but this one no pain me like previous years.

The squad was on their knees by the hour mark. Just dont have the legs or the quality of squad to handle City, Palace and Arsenal in 8 days.

Overall I thought we did ok for the first hour. I just felt we carried Antony who was a minus for us again. Shaw got tortured and AWB had his usual lapses in positioning. Midfield had no legs. McTom,Eriksen and Bruno just isnt going to cut it away at the Emirates. Wout was ok but not a threat in anyway. I dont think we're a team that can play to his strengths but this is were we are.

I just don't know why the manager did nothing to correct the issues which were glaring. Olise was troubling us and their midfield gained impetus and began to press much higher up the pitch but we couldn't take advantage of the situation no that to Erikson and Bruno.

I think he tried to do things to change it but it just didnt work. McTom and Garnacho were brought on to give us more control just after an hour but they didnt have the desired impact. Just goes to show the lack of quality on the bench.
