Although I don't mind signing a player like this if he's identified as incredible potential. But we badly need experience and leadership in the back line. So ideally we get one of each and bin, Jones, Rojo and even Smalling sef if we can get those.

It would be a heck of a shock but the Manchester Evening News have quoted a report suggesting former Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho could move to Manchester United this month.

The Barcelona and Brazil man has started only nine league games this season, and according to the report is unsettled at the Nou Camp.

Its silly season. All these are rumours.

I know this is simply a Forum, and our Opinions only matter here only. But if I have the Opportunity to advise the Board on Transfers; I will gladly advise the Board to engage in Swap Deals instead of direct Sales. Cos no ambitious Club will drop Money for any of the Deadwoods at the Club.

I will gladly offer Fellaini and Tom to B. Dortmund for Axel, Darmian and Fred to Jeventus for Douglas, Mata for Samuel Chukwueze. Valencia to Fulham in exchange for Ryan in addition with Grant as a Promo.

Finally..... I will honorably do a direct swap deal with AC Milan with Lukaku for Higuain. Nobody can improve Lukaku's first Touch. He's a good Striker but his first Touch is letting him down. I think Serie A gonna suits him well, cos if Bakayoko can become a Star there, then Lukaku has hope.

You were doing so well till you went for Higuain. God forbid bad thing.

I'm going to give Fred, Sanchez and Lukaku the benefit of the doubt. They haven't played much recently so probably arent match fit.

That was such a great game between City and Liverpool. Atleast now Liverpool won't walk away with the title.

Willing to give Sanchez some time to get fully match fit but he certainly looks like he's lost a bit of pace and he hasn't realised he needs to adjust his game. The best of his football was over reliant on his pace.

Smalling and Lindelof have to be our 1st choice defenders for now. Jones is guaranteed an oafish moment every single game.
And Bailly is Bailly.

Midfield should be Herrera,Matic and Pogba for now.

Sanchez still looked very wasteful and washed up even though he setup the 2nd goal.

I'm pretty happy with any front 3 pairing to be honest but I dont think Mata should start big games for us.

Please, Valencia must leave the club this summer. He needs to retire. He shouldn't even join another club.

Just a quick one. I know Rabiot,Ndombele are amazing players but what does this mean for our current pool of midfielders? Especially when you consider we just signed Fred? (looking a bad signing in hindsight although its early)

And it didnt do much for them last season.

This season we're defensively very poor. Top teams will have their way with our defence. Our midfield and attack will cause problems for most teams if they're on form but we defensively, we'll conceed so many bad goals.

Not really.theyve been ridiculously solid defensively this season.

This is the reason we can shine against poor teams but you're not going to play outscoring football against the top teams. Bailly is an idiot and has regressed a lot.
He has put himself way back of the queue of defenders.

Happy with the attacking effort and the passing from the middle has been good. Even Matic has played some excellent forward passes. Long may it continue.

Don't see why he will not fit... Currently we are not even playing Classic MUFC brand of football... We're just playing a brand of attacking football... The real MUFC style is wingers bombing foreward and providing Crosses... RVN back then worked for MUFC, all we had to do was just provide the Crosses/passes and Ruud boi did the damage for several seasons... Don't see why Lukaku should be any different, if he has sufficient service he will score goals

1st touch and better movement. RvN had this at an elite level, Lukaku doesnt.

Point is there are far better teams that will punish our defence a lot more if we dont get our act together.

Atleast goal difference is increasing positively.

I am just watching this Fred like Jega. He is very untidy for a CM and many simple things look like a struggle for him.
They should better take him off before a gets a red card.

I'm hoping its a lack of confidence. He hasn't impressed me in a single game this season. Definitely doesn't look like 50m well spent.

Imagine arguing about this current pool of defenders. None of which have leadership qualities and none of them are world class. They can sell them all and I wouldn't blink. By God's grace Jones and Rojo will be the first out the door. We shouldn't continue to habour mediocrity if we truly want to be be the best team in the country and in Europe. Even Smalling Bailey or Lindelof. I wouldn't lose any sleep over any of those mugs. You're not winning any major titles with those jokers.

Can Lukaku fits into the new Tactic? If not....... Then January Transfer is just few Days to its official Opening. Hence both him and Fellaini should be offered as Xmas Gifts to Clubs that show interests without an iota of Hesitation.

There's zero chance Lukaku will be sold. Atleast not without the say so of the next permanent manager.
