And we as fans need to let go of this mentality and sense of pride that we shouldn't be hiring & sacking managers like other clubs. The club's football side is currently a complete sham. Jose isnt the man to turn it around but it also stems from the top of the hierarchy. From the owners, woodward, Jose and half the players need to be cleared out. If we sack jose and replace him that isnt going to drastically change things. A full restructure from the top needs to be done. Changing the manager is t going to do that. You cannot compare our football organisation to the Barca, Real,Bayern, Chelsea and even City because those clubs sorted out the top level structure before having a good foundation to move forward. The club is making tons of money other the strength of its brand but that strength wont wont last forever based alone on that. Also, its amateurish for a club the size of man utd has things leaking to journalists exactly when the manager will be sacked. This happened under Moyes and LvG too.

This doesn't even address what I posted. Did Moyes a d LVG scout well? So the point is the scouting has been poor aince Fergie left, not only when Jose arrived.

As much as I don't want to see Mourinho at United again, I don't think that the laziness is due to the tactical plan. Defensive teams even have to put in a shift for it to work. The players are not just willing to put in the extra effort required of a big team with ambition. It's either because they don't agree with the tactics or fitness level is poor, which means the fitness coach is doing a very poor job.

Its a combo of both. Those players are a disgrace and should be ashamed of themselves because they're supposed to be professionals and are extremely well paid by the club. None of them are giving their all. Regardless of what the manager is doing, the manager isnt on the pitch kicking the ball with them. The effort has to be 100% because the club paid them and gives them a lot to do their jobs. The manager is also failing in his job to create the right environment for them, the right tactics. The right team selections etc. But lets not absolve the players completely from their own responsibility.

Fury has been a disappointment and like you alluded, despite his size and height, he lacks the power in his punches but I must say he has some of the best foot-works for a boxer his size. Sometimes, I am not even sure if I am watching comic boxing when he attempts to entertain the crowd.

Truth be told, Wilder did not look comfortable when he boxed a fighter bigger than him in Ortiz consequently, I have my hesitations because he takes a lot of risks and Ortiz rocked some heavy jabs to his face that could have dropped him but he is younger, with good stamina and is relentless.

Fury will get his shit rocked for sure.

I do think AJ will beat Wilder though. AJ has been boxing very smart lately and his Jaw is tested as well.
