Seems its been confirmed that we paid Jose and his staff 19m to go.

I thought it was over 20m for just Jose.

Still a ridiculous amount due to the idiocy of Ed giving him a new contract in Jan.

Different challenge now. Will be interesting to see how the team responds to a defeat.

PSG showed a next level though. Properly outcoached Ole. And exposed our players.

This Mata and Alexis sub don kill our attack.
Lukaku was definitely the better sub instead of Mata.

They are one of the best but i wouldn’t day they are the best.
Our 07-09 team with VDS, Vidic, Rio, Carrick, Rooney and Ronaldo winning 3 straight EPL titles and winning the champs league was better in my opinion.
Exactly. Proof is in the pudding. So far this city team hasnt achieved what that united team did. Or even the treble winning team. Until they do that can we have that conversation.

City need to calm down. Don't want them to over do it and Chelsea sack Sarri. Need him to keep his job till the summer.

That win was really Ole and Pogba magic.

So much still wrong with the team but hard to complain after a 3-0 win away from home that moves us into the top 4.

We need to get rid of

Lukaku
Sanchez
Mata

Yes. In terms of the squad maybe for the 1st 11 but i feel our midfield is superior to Liverpool's by a long way. Our defence is weaker our keepers are better and we're neck and neck in attack , they may have a slight edge in attack.

Transfer target of 200m pounds. Me think we need more than this o
Its so annoying that newspapers like to make up rumours as it actually impacts the club's transfer plans this summer. Clubs will be happy to believe that's what we have to spend and add even more premiums on their players.

Nothing you said in this post is related to tactics.

Huge 3 points.

Some quick thoughts.
Great goal from Rashy from Pogba's lovely assist.
Good to see us keep a cleansheet but it was very lucky. If Leicester had better finishers some of those chances against us would be goals. Good to be lucky though. That's another tough away game chalked off.

I'm not sure we can salvage Sanchez's career at man utd.

Pogba went missing for a lot if the 2nd half. Almost like he was too tired before he got that final burst of steam.

Anyway. Massive win.

Annoying but I'll take the 2-2. Always hate playing Burnley.

More annoyed City have given the title to Liverpool.

Just checked it on Sky Sports. Hope Valencia and Rojo would be offloaded as well to free up space - they are occupying for nothing!
TFM and tuanzebe could easily be doing what those two are doing for less than half the cost! Smh

This fixture list makes it now even more imperative that we win the next 3 games against Burnley, Leicester, Fulham.
Those ones are very winnable. Use the first 11 for all 3 games and get all 9 points, and when the horror fixture list starts we can start making use of the larger squad.
Obviously I'm not coaching expert, But feel rotation has to begin now especially in midfield. The number of minutes the midfield 3 have in their legs now will start getting to the fatigue and injury zone. Fred and Perreira have to come in sooner rather than later. If 3 play our main midfield 3 for the next 3 games then the Feb/March big fixtures will be problems for them in my view. We can just manage in attack and defence since they're are not far off in quality from each other but currently the middle drop off is big if we lose them to injury.

I believe something like changing 1 of the 3 per match might help preserve them. Of course this is real life and not championship manager but these run of futures will test any team in world football.

Good away win. Its only arsenal though so nothing to be too excited about.

I would still wait till the summer and see what he delivers before he gets the job but he is definitely in serious consideration for it.

Good for Martial to score then because he was totally off the oace before that. Seems he wasn't sure about himself.

Much more improved by Bailly too.

I don’t think we watch the same Lukaku because the one I know is utter fvcking shite in that ST position, all he does is try and beat the offside trap, run and shoot, That would be great for Mid table teams we are Man utd and when you have the Sam allardyces and Tony Puliss parking the bus he’s just ineffective and miserable...If it were left to me I will Sell every fvcking defender in that squad except Bailly Dalit Lindelof Shaw and Jones...
I'm not sure you read my post very well if you think I was praising Lukaku.

Well according to some people Lingard cannot cross, he cannot dribble, he cannot Body But Lukaku can cross and body so 2/3 isn’t bad. cheesy I know Lukaku can whip a mean cross from that right flank but I have never been one for crosses or traditional wingers. I stand by my stance Lingard is good enough for that RW
I like Lingard but just like Lukaku, he also plays in an important position that you cannot be average at when you're talking about being a top level club. I think if we should be looking to upgrade that position in the summer. RB and CB is obviously a no brainer.

DDG, I'm going to find you and I'm going to kiss you. Whether you like am or not. cheesy

Defensively we're still hopeless. Kane was using Jones as a rag doll. Shaw was letting in every cross.

What a result.

Ole has definitely thrown his hat in the ring for the job.

You got this spot on. I'm ashley young. Used to be a nifty winger but old age has dulled some of my attacking instincts so I spend more time defending these days. Its like you watched my Saturday morning match.

Saw some RVN highlights on twitter today and it got me wondering how we went from RVN to Rooney to RVP to Lukaku. undecided
Its why I maintain that for the level we aspire to reach, Lukaku isn't good enough for us. Said that before we poured £75m for him. I like the guy and he has a very good goal record but he'll never be an elite striker.

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has slapped a world-record £225m price tag on Christian Eriksen, according to AS.

Real Madrid reportedly view Eriksen as the ideal replacement for Luka Modric but are not willing to fork out such a fee for the 26-year-old, who has 18 months remaining on his current Spurs contract.

grin

We should stop dreaming of Poch as a possible United Manager, rather keep our Hopes alive on OGS to turn a super Manager.
Levy is a crook. grin

I hope all clubs also hold them to ransom the same way. He can't not sign players forever.
