Chieftain of the All Progressive Grand Alliance(APGA) Etigwe Uwa SAN has dismissed the statement of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Hon Benjamin Kalu that the All Progressive Congress(APC) will take over the Governorship of Abia State in 2027. Reacting to the development, the APGA Chieftain said Abians are politically astute enough not to hand over leadership of their state on the basis of any franchise granted by any political party. He said Abia Will seek for the most competent Political Party to hand over the Governorship. “Quite apart from the fact that political parties in Nigeria, with the exception of one or two, have no strong ideological anchor, the ingress and egress of politicians in and out of political parties is dictated largely by selfish considerations of where best a politician’s bread is buttered” “Any discerning and realistic observer does not require too much wisdom to know that Abians would seek out the most competent person in 2027 and succeeding elections regardless of party affiliation0 “To posit that a party would take over Abia State in 2027 now that Abians do not know who the candidates would be is an overly presumptuous and condescending insult on the corporate intelligence of Abians, Abians would make an informed assessment and determine for themselves who they would elect when the time comes” “Abians are cautious and deliberate and would make critical decisions advisedly,Abians would look before they leap. We would for instance not vote an unsuitable candidate simply on account of a magic wand waved through a party flag” “One thought that these points are fairly self-evident given the degree of enlightenment Nde Abia possess,The greatest impediment to the progress of the Nigerian State are most members of the political class” He advised politicians to focus on governance and leave politics as the atmosphere is still too early. “Politicians would do well to focus on governance which relieves the pain and sufferings of their people rather than engage in the confused chatter of the confounded barbarians who attempted to build a meaningless Tower of Babel”

I Am in the race to take a stand against bad governance! To take a stand against imposition and the stealing of party structures through undemocratic means! Am in the race to stop impunity and conscienceless plunder of the commonwealth and patrimony of our people. I have taken a stand and I am willing to stand by its consequences. I stand on the side of truth and conscience. I stand on the side of the people who die every day because of the absence of hospital infrastructure across the state! People whose pensions have been denied for several years and who die of want and deprivation even in the midst of plenty! I stand on the side of Restoring Abia to flourish. I do not aspire to be a good politician and will not be. I aspire to be a man of conscience and conviction and to be fearless and courageous in my pursuit of the greatest good of the greater majority of our people. Martin Luther King took a stand. Mandela took a stand. I have taken a stand and I am on the side of what I believe in. I have decided to stand with the people against the oppressors of their destiny. I honestly believe that only through a selfless pursuit of the good of our people rather than political interest can our people be saved from the dungeon and abyss of hopelessness and grieve they have been plunged into these two and half decades. Thanna Hand Sanitizer, proudly produced in Aba, has a National and International acceptability in household products, does not reduce the quality and essence of a sanitizer. The sanitizer was produced with Tea, Cabopon (Thickener), Aloe Vera Gel, Glycerin, Methanol, Isopropyl and Fragrance. Whilst that in itself has been produced to kill harmful germs and help keep hands soft, we found it more compelling to make it affordable for people to use against spread of germs during this pandemic.
