seanfer: Abuja is the capital of FCT, and the NASS act as the House of Assembly for FCT. Now are you going to say the Senate President and Speaker must have 25% in Abuja also? Mugu is national assembly same as state assembly so how is national assembly acting as Abuja state assembly...haba se ogun laiye ni |

seanfer: Chai. So you don’t know that Abuja is the capital of FCT. Maybe you should go back and learn states and capital. So who is the governor and deputy governor has well as the speaker of the Abuja state house of assembly |
Politics › Re: “Nobody Can Be Nigeria's President Without Getting 25% In FCT”—Kadaria Ahmed by Mrtaye: 7:58am On May 22, 2023 |
Physicist: It is not logical that a candidate must have votes of at least 25% in FCT to win the Presidential election. If a candidate wins with a margin of 98% in 36 states but the same candidate polls 20% in FCT and some people insist there is 25% FCT provision that prevents the candidate from becoming President. Then, that reasoning is not logical at all. In that case the principle of "res ipsa loquitor" which mean the matter speaks for itself.... you say 98% and that is overwhelming victory.....it is very much different from less than 50% |
Politics › Re: “Nobody Can Be Nigeria's President Without Getting 25% In FCT”—Kadaria Ahmed by Mrtaye: 7:50am On May 22, 2023 |
seanfer: WAEC is different from election. You read and write WAEC yourself and you must be scored based on what you wrote. Election is determine by voters and because those in FCT might choose not to vote the candidate with the highest number of votes doesn’t mean he is not qualified to be declared a winner. If this explanation is not clear enough for you then you need to go back to JSS1. It's enshrined in the constitution just like what Kadaria said Abuja is a federal controlled State with a minister as the head who was duly appointed by the president, hence why there is no gubernatorial election in Abuja and no commissioners |

Supremos: They are not saying that other states results are not important. Kindly understand that in WAEC, you must score credit pass in English and Mathematics, it doesn't make other subjects irrelevant.
The constitution has said it, you must abide by the constitution More like compulsory and elective courses in the university |

Aquila99: So in d stupid constitution u r quoting from. Some peoples vote are more important dan others.. twit caps.. SMH It's not about some people it's about status, Abuja is a special status more like a special government headed by the minister of the fct because of its special status as the federal capital territory hence why you don't have commissioners of transportation, education, works, budget etc ....it is actually a federal controlled zone |
Politics › Re: “Nobody Can Be Nigeria's President Without Getting 25% In FCT”—Kadaria Ahmed by Mrtaye: 7:34am On May 22, 2023 |
Tflex01: Sometimes I wonder whether you guys really know how daft you all sound to ever imagine 25% in Abuja should decide who govern Nigeria.
It's like saying Adeleke should not be declared Osun state governor because he didn't get 25% in Oshogbo LG or makinde in Ibadan LG. Mugu Abuja is the federal capital territory añd headed by a minister unlike states with governors hence the difference abi do you have commissioners in the Abuja just like states where you have commissioners of transportation, education, works, budget, etc |

lhordspy: Soldiers die in war, my friend. That is why it is called battle. It is not where kids play in sand.
Bakhmut is insignificant and of no strategic gain to Russia. But they needed the win to PEPPER the west. This isnt just a win. It is more like flushing 'Billions of dollar' invested by US, UK and the rest of war-mongers, down the toilet.
This is not just the slippers wearing, Ak-47 wielding untrained fighters US bullied in Afghanistan. We are talking Ukrainian army, the second most trained army in the world, armed with weapons, military intelligence, secret fighters from almost 24 countries. Guess what, they lost to a single Mercenary troop.
Money wasted and Confidence level reduced to -0.344. But why do you so much love tyrant russia..your ways are not pure |

APC is the Majority in the two Chambers. 🤣 Don't shift the post I am referring to the combined number of votes amassed by LP, PDP and the other political parties okay... let's talk about LP and PDP alone in this presidential election ooo their votes combination outweighs and supercedes hence they are majority have have a valid call |

My friend son ovie alway want to have a taste of whiskey becos he sees me n his dad drinking it .. he wants it does it mean it is good for him. Legal proceeding and legal terms are beyond us as elites, you need professional guide, analysis and interpretation orelse people will blown things out of proportion. Parachoko: There's no reason for it to be televise
The Tribunal no b BBN.
The Tribunal in Anambra State was not televise live before it removed Ngige as the Governor of Anambra State and made Peter Obi the Governor If you conduct an opinion poll you will realize that the number of people that want to watch it live outweighs and supercedes those that don't....also combining the votes of both PDP and LP you will agree the it outweighs and supercedes that of the apc which means majority of combined LP and PDP voters and Nigerians want live telecast |
Politics › Re: This Is Not Big Brother Naija: INEC, APC, Tinubu Oppose Live Proceedings by Mrtaye: 10:30am On May 19, 2023 |
Parachoko: The tribunal case is not held in secret
You can't tell me you haven't been getting information about what have been going on at the tribunal
The Tribunal was not televise live when Obi got justice in Anambra State.
There's no need for it to be televise live
Broadcasting it live does not matter if there will be transparency. The Tribunal that removed Ngige as the Governor of Anambra State and made Obi the Governor of Anambra State was not televise live
So your argument does not hold water. Why comparing presidential tribunal to Anambra |

chidiokay: How can you compare Oputa panel to Election Tribunal ... Oputa panel was about restitution moreover there was Sanity then, no social media madness no influencers and propagandist wasnt a livelihood.
IF Atiku, Peter Obi, counsels and journalist are all presence in Court what other openness do they need, court proceeding is not a theatre act or entertainment that should be consumed directly by the public there are so many legal terms that will be in use the even elite out law school won't understand, a live broadcaster means the public will start doing there own interpretations without a proper guide which might lead to an uproar and pressure that can manipulate the court because of bogus interpretations.
Just like crude oil, legal proceeding is not a end product it must be digested/refined by professionals/journalist/analyst and broken down for people to consume.
Emotions are all time high nothing good can come out of a live broadcast social media will ruin it It's not just about the people in the court but about the generality of Nigerians who came out to cast their votes and want to witness the process and outcome live.... majority want to see it live |

Though, they are not tribalistic in fact, they remain the most detribalized region in Nigeria
