they have shown other Nigerians that they can't be trusted with power and they may have to wait another hundred years for a shot at the presidency. Biafra is our promised land and we will never back down from it. |

EVarn: Your father has poisoned your heart with baseless propaganda; saddling his son with the ideological burden that lead him to his failure as a youth. Do you even know what Biafra signifies?,what type of leaders will biafra have; Godswill Akpabio?,Diezani Alison Madueke?,Pius Ayim?,Ike Ekweremadu?,or David Mark who ruled as senate president for 14 years without benefitting either Nigeria or his region?: do you want biafra to spend another 45 years suppressing military coups and ethnic unrest, building its democracy for the scratch? How will biafra fund itself?,or do you also plan to annex the niger-delta oil fields,as well as the gulf of guinea?,what about igbo people who have intermarried with other tribes?,what about their businesses all over?,or do you plan to annex lagos too?.lol. hahahaha.. Those are just only petty talks. Let Igbo people rule among themselves and you must stop acting like a sooth sayer. We will cross the bridge when we get there. Biafra will just be a country like any country that has its citizens married to other nations outside as well as having properties and businesses outside. Does Nigeria today not having its citizens married to other nations outside and even having businesses as well as property? Those who have intermarried will remain with their foreign wives in SA, Nigeria, Ghana, etc. So is that a problem? |

Henry240: -Nigerian Proforce LAVs are used by the Rwandan police in the Central African Republic, "you remember this country right?"...... Same country SANDF special forces conspicuously ran away from after getting beaten blue-black.
- Proforce LAVs were also delivered to South-Sudan, but i do not know thecountry that ordered it, probably Rwanda. Who said SA special forces ran away from CAR? SA troops were withdrawn by the high command. If there was no government, there was no use for SA to continue their stay in CAR. Neitheir Rwanda nor S.Sudan finalised purchase of proforce vehicles. Rwanda only sent delegation to Nigeria to inspect the vehicles but none of them were bought. |

Another UAV from a different company
Vehicles (UAV- Drones)
The utility of Proforce' Un-manned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) will be felt after the first phase of its launch as they are classified as man-packable and easily deployable for over-the-hill aerial intelligence in any environment.
The Ade-Predator 001 in its operation brings secured and simultaneous tactical situational awareness to ground forces and remote command. Our UAVs operate based on the Vertical Take-Off and Landing(VTOL) flight; therefore it enables fixed hover for precise observation with low-risk retrieval on land or ship.
Proforce UAV platform brings the world of aerial intelligence directly to ground troops. With an excellent user-interface any soldier can easily become an expert in tactical surveillance gathering.
Our UAVs fly beyond a sight and see what is happening anywhere, with an endurance of up to an hour in air. However, night time flying is possible anywhere with thermal or infra-red imaging system.
Proforce UAVs are suitable for quick emergency and disaster response with mission payload, data links and ground control system. Show us that UAV please and stop going wild about something you dont even know how it looks like. |

EVarn: You know not what you speak of. Your leader, ojukwu, fled to cote d'ivoire after losing the succession war, leaving behind a disillusioned army of rebels and a starved nation; that tells you the calibre of leaders that propagated the dubious idea of a sovereign state of biafra. If he had stood his ground and perhaps, even died for his cause(like hitler, napoleon and others did),he would have been a matyr and biafra would have been in existence today. As it is,60% of educated igbo people do not want biafra; they understand that succeding from Nigeria would only spark another vicious cycle of socio-political flunctuations range from the military occassionally seizing power to greedy politicians inciting violence between minority clans. Biafra would have to relearn democracy. That's why we Igbos do not want to associate with stupidd people like you. We want self I determination so that next time when we visit Enugu in Biafra we should do so with pride. |

kingzizzy: The reason you see things the way you do is because you think you have a nation. You don't. What you have is the 'forced conscription' of ethnic nationalities into an unholy union by white men. You are only a 'Nigerian' because Lord Lugard made you one.
The Igbo nation is a tribe of over 40 million people, much lager than most African countries, so tell me why we Igbos should be in Nigeria?
Ghana is country of 28 million people but have their own country. So why should Igbos who are much larger not have their own country? What connects me as an Igbo man with a Yoruba or Hausa man? Lord Lugard? I want my own country, I want to administer my own affairs, I want to control the resources of my land, I want my own embassies, I want my capital closer to home and not far away Abuja, I want to choose my own name and not the one Lugards girlfriend chose for me.
I know as an Igbo man that I can survive without Nigeria, my ancestors survived when there was no Nigeria and so will I. I also believe in the ingenuity of my Igbo nation.
But the biggest reason I want my own country is that Nigeria has not worked as a nation in 55 years and it is time for me to attempt something different. Nigeria is a representatiion of modern day slavery when people have no right to decide if they want to be Nigerian or not. Yet, we are living witness that Britain, which created Nigeria, granted Scotland the right to decide if they want to be British or not. Self determination is a right, not a privilege Well said. #BringBackBiafra |

madenigga: when Buhari came into seat and started making his appointments we detribalised Nigerians that saw beyond tribe and ethnicity was told to wait that he has not finished making his appointments despite the fact that his intention to marginalize the igbos were clear the excuse he gave the first time is that he would reward them with better ministerial posts asif according to the constitution every state wasnt entitled to at least one minister. They came out to protest even if it was right or not a government dat really had them in mind locked up and ignored them, despite the numbers and how citizens marched with there strength, they instead sent the military to start giving them threats, a sane government that sees its citizens in this mood in any country just like a father calls its children and talks to them, but because it was igbos they deserve not to be talked to but to be punished. Why the southeast deserves not to be developed but to be left in darkness while its people become economic wanderers and there daughters turning to prost1tution, do u think we igbos are happy anytime we go to any club and the girls there bear chioma or ijeoma. But Nigeria doesnt care and doesnt have any intention to care. Anytime the ohaneze or any igbo group makes a statement Nigeria just sighs and doesnt take them serious because they know that if they try any thing they would handle them with force, but if Arewa m or any northern group makes any statement its allowed, Asari came threatened Nigeria both on radio, tv and news it was allowed, Lai mohammed came and cursed every generation of igbos it was allowed, Faani kayode did the same it was allowed but Nnamdi kano, before he could say Bia he was in the highest prison available in Nigeria without bail and the govt intends to keep him there till the end of his life, he did the wrong thing but did he kill anyone? I am not from the southeast but evil thrives when good people look the other way. Injustice to one is injustice to all. U might say u dont care because u are not at the receiving end but who knows what tomorrow might bring. Such pity talks will not deviate our focus. #BringBackBiafra. |

Politics › Re: Biafra Agitation: Arewa Youths Write ACF, NEF by Msauza(m): 8:03am On Nov 17, 2015 |
kjhova: Let us look at this Biafran project from a more realistic and holistic point. The core of the Biafran agitation is the Igbo home states of Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu & Imo. If the agitators get an independent Biafra which is restricted to these states alone, I foresee numerous challenges viz; landlocked, total en-circulation by potential enemy Nigeria, small surface area, reduced natural drainage and forced relocation of many extant Igbos to Biafra amongst a few other challenges.
Biafra would be better off if it can include a few Niger Delta states and/or Benue and portions of Kogi within it's borders although the chances of this is unlikely. Also, if Biafra is founded on the basis of enmity with Nigeria, the country is dead on arrival as it will only be a repeat of 1967-70 all over.
This is not to suggest that an independent Biafra (restricted to the five Igbo states) cannot be viable as nothing is impossible with good leadership and an enlightened populace. However, certain indices may count in favour of or against the very existence of such country.
At any rate, If I would advise the agitators for Biafra, it will make more sense and probably achieve more if they take the fight up from an ideological/intellectual viewpoint rather than as militancy i.e. consider the ANC anti-apartheid approach rather than the Hamas Palestine methods. Biafra must be realised, like it or not. |
