iterator24: you're a confused personality that's trying so hard to justify his mistake. Nigeria has a stable government, same as liberia [in this context], those countries you people highlighted are not stable! fact! . even south africa is not stable ...lol In your dreams. The three states in Northern Nigeria are in chaos as in today. How is that stable? EvenLiberia is not stable. Go and advertise your lies somewhere else. |

iterator24: you still don't understand the word.
e,g We stabilized liberia.. there's stability there right now OH NOOOOOO!!! Nigeria failed bitterly in LIBERIA. Both Ecomog Nigeria and Liberian government troops were defeated by Charles Taylor and Prince Johnson rebel groups. The president (Samuel Doe) of Liberia was kidnapped right in Ecomog base and was tortured, dismembered and killed. The whole government was toppled and Charles Taylor claimed victory. The mission to stabilise Liberia was handed over to UN. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Mission_in_Liberia |

lezz: As if your opinion counts. The words of major general Daniel Mofokeng, the foreign relations officer for SANDF ring longer and louder than the broken letters of a thousand patricks.
Fly away. This guy does not know the language of international relations. We do it to almost every country that supported anti apartheid campaign. That language we've heard it being told to almost every African country that visited South Africa. |

Henry240: There is nothing spectacular in this vehicle. it's just an armoured car with a 30mm cannon. It's just like bragging about mounting a 30mm cannon on a Nigerian army Igirigi APC. Even a grade 1 pupil will not hesitate any inch to confirm to you that MBOMBE is far more superior than IGIRIGI. Igirigi will not even survive a day inine infested area, so that effectively rules it out as a vehicle that can be used for unconventional war because it does not meet the requirement of an MRAP. It will also not withstand an RPG impact. It is just bad as hell. |

Henry240: Yes it was, as it is on record that your generals begged for APCs and Helicopters from Pretoria to no avail. That is untrue. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 7:32am On Nov 22, 2015 |
Henry240: Not according to the UN, BBC, AFP, Reuters, Aljazeera, TVC.
Your Special forces got roundly defeated in the CAR. Clearly you do not know the definition of defeat in war. It was a retreat not defeat. If South African government could have challenged the war and sponsored it fully to achieve their objective, a failure to do so would have amounted to defeat. SA did not have any interest in the politics of the country and their sole mission was to offer training to CAR forces in accordance with the MOU signed by both governments. SA troops only had to defend themselves and save the life of the President of CAR, the mission which they accomplished with bright colours. The coup then signalled the end of MOU between two countries and as well effectively rended it null and void. |

AugustineAgain: Show me where UN laws of war says it's babaric to kill an enemy with a military Bayonet knife. In war of the Bible days don't they use swords to cut off the head of an enemy in war?
SANDF killed no Seleka until you show us proof, all we see are 15 dead SANDF elite troops, so only SANDF troops died in Bangui. SANDF cannot stoop to your level of cannibalism and barbarism by posting grisly pictures of the bartered enemy on the net. We conduct ourselves in a manner that is professional and we do not derive our joy from humiliating the enemy. SANDF has never taken pictures of dead enemy and posted it on the net to prove its might throughout its history. We have killed many enemies in engagement from the Bush war to Congo insurgency. It is a prosecutable offence to take pictures of the dead enermy in SANDF. We refuse to associate ourselves with the high level of backwardness exhibited by Nigeria's armed forces of brandishing cut-off heads of enemies. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 12:22am On Nov 22, 2015 |
Xbee007: Trust me they are not civilians. Nigerian Army strictly adhere to rule of engagement. If any civilians were killed at all, it is done by Boko Haram because they are one crazy blood thirst monsters. Any village they enter, they will kill all the civilians and still their foods and livestocks. ICC does not say so. It says you have committed many extra judicial killings and tortured the innocent in detention. Your charge sheet is now being prepared to appear in court. |

Xbee007: Innocent civilians in Boko Haram camo U are one big clown. Perhaps, u might even say that the soldiers wore the uniform for them after they purge them. What about those who could clearly be seen wearing civilian clothes. Remember that your military killed many innocent people throughout the campaign against insurgency. |

agaugust: LOL....Boko Haram is begging us for mercy each time we capture them alive in battle .
SANDF could not capture one single Seleka rebel, they squeezed your Elite Paratroops' balls till they leaked salt-water
SANDF was fighting in self defence and were not protecting territory. Why should they capture the enermy or even take pictures of the dead enermy? We are not some cheap barbaric Nigerian troops who go about taking pictures of horribly killed insurgents and upload them on social media. It is against the policy and code of conduct of SANDF. We are a professional army and we don't rally around with the cut-off heads of insurgents. That attitude is barbaric and terroristic. |

agaugust: Snail pace? Nigerian Proforce produces 40 vehicles per month in that factory, how much does does one South African company produce monthly?
Envy is eating you up as we will soon overtake you like we did with GDP.
Meanwhile, show us South African armoured vehicle factory where you people say robots are working for you like Japan, show photo proofs ! . Denel plants are fitted with assembling robots, dammy. Engineers use them to move and fit parts and even welding and joining parts together. The level of professionalism in Denel made armoured vehicles will tell you that only computer can produce such fine products. |

The Proforce ARA or Thunder MRAP currently under-development is better than the Otokar Cobra.
I'm currently staring at the photo of the vehicle and specifications in my laptop, i just can't extract the image. Somebody is dreaming here. |

agaugust: Give us technical proof that it is low grade.
Proforce Nigeria produces world class military armoured vehicles comparable to world standards, tested and proven ballistic capabilities....our LAV products are superior to some American LAV of same class, we make better quality....better than even South Africa.
"“The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr Olusegun Aganga, has been there; governors have been there and so many eminent people and they realised that the quality of our products vis-à-vis the quality of vehicles from Dubai and from the US are far better."
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/01/nigeria-produces-300-armoured-vehicles-annually/ Nigeria is still so stupidd that they call ordinary bulletproofed car an armoured vehicle. South Africa produces thousands of such cars annually for local and external market. |

BTWN....Israel trained more Nigerian COIN troops than Eben, not to mention 5,000 trained by Russia and Pakistan for Nigeria's COIN brigade . Eeben Barlow learnt everything from SANDF and is a product of the same lohatlha battle school. He and his team. |

http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/01/nigeria-produces-300-armoured-vehicles-annually/ Surely it is now evident that proforce is still one of those struggling companies as it can be clearly seen by how they are producing their armoured cars using old 1800 method. Go to any plant of Denel and see the kind of technology they are using to produce vehicles. The robots are doing welding and everything. |

agaugust: Go see tactics videos from FLINTLOCK 2015 exercise hosted by Chad, even the US military was praising Chad for the relevant training theatres provided despite Chad being financially poor compared to a gold and platinum rich buy mentally poor South Africa. Those so called obsolete tactics were used by Eeben Barlow to improve the attacking skills of your military against BH and it worked perfectly well. Do away with all this new Hollywood fantasies and do it the right way. Back to Basics is always the answer. Do it the old South African way. |

agaugust: Proforce is posting a photo of their own look-alike of the Cobra under development, the windows and lights are different, true they used a Cobra photo as layout, but no big deal in that.
No copyright issue, the design is not peculiar to Turkey, as Russia has a similar APC design looking like a Cobra.
http://www.army-technology.com/projects/bpm-97-apc/
Turkey actually copied an old Russian year 1950design called BTR-152 http://survincity.com/2011/08/reincarnation-btr-152-bpm-97-the-shot/
Proforce Nigeria is right with that design, or you wanna arrest Russia first for a simple common sense design of BPM-97 APC?
You Southies just wanna accuse Nigeria's 100% owned and fast growing defence industry just because we finally exposed the European ownership of 90% of South African defence industry.
#WRECKED SOUTH AFRICAN ENVY LOADED ARGUMENT. Proforce will be commiting a day light robbery by stealing the cobra design. Otokar will have all the legal powers to shut down their business for intellectual property crimes. |
