Where are your cheap F7s when your soldiers are being constantly killed by the BH.

agaugust: nigeria has about 60 jet fighters flying today, south africa has about 30 jets flying with the rest in a cold room freezer long storage, that is the meaning of budget constraint, you have the example right there inside soweto, you dont need to look up the meaning in a dictionary cheesy

.
South African Airforce has no any Gripen on storage, says general. We are tired by all these your lies. The media will lead you astray my friend and only end up inside the net of SA trap.

South Africa is the world leader in mineral wealth. In 2010 it was discovered that in relation to mineral reserves South Africa comes first. These Nigerian can never lie to us because we know the truth, the world knows the truth.

Henry120: Go down the link, look at the table of 4th generation fighter jets, and tell me if the saab jas39 gripen is not listed there as a 4th generation fighter jet.

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth-generation_jet_fighter

Or this link

www.militaryfactory.com/aircraft/4th-generation-fighter-aircraft.asp
Fighters whose projects started 1980-2000 are 4.5 generation fighters

Those whose projects started 2000-present are 5th generation fighters.

I hope you know how many years does it take to produce a fighter jets. BTW 4.5 generation fighters are still classified as 4th generation fighters, but to be more specific you have to use 4th and 4.5th to indicate to the generation in which they were produced.

The 33% brain power is educating the 419 brain.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 7:52pm On Sep 06, 2013
Henry120: The gripen is not a 4.5gen fighter. The gripen is in the same class as the F-16, india's indigenous fighter jet and the JF-17thunder block II. None of them are 4.5 gen. Stop lying to yourself, they are all 4 gen fighter jets.
Griffins are 4.5 generations fighters sir.

It seems to me that the confused Chris cannot differentiate between offering military training and support. I know that sounds so disturbing for his comprehension but I will be so friendly to give him typical example. What Cuba has offered Angola during bush war was a military support. The tiny Cuba situated in achepelago of the Caribbean far away, thousands of miles from the mother continent, offered their support to their brothers by pledging over 45000 troops to fight the Apartheid government, where was the all powerful Nigeria which conquered the whole continent in peace keeping and enforcement missions.

[quote author=chris365]you see why i keep calling you confused slowpoke? you are not even coherent to understand yourself. now you've narrowed it down to Nigeria attacking apartheid south africa. what a mess of a graduate undecided

chris365: i guess you don't even know the meaning of "almost". keep swimming in your pool of illiteracy. olodo grin
Almost is something that was more imminent but couldn't take place. I want you to boldly tell me that the economy of SA was compromised by the ANC's activities. Which is still untenable, because the Apartheid government still had control of economy and protected the borders with an iron fist. Why don't you ask your brothers why were they afraid to visit SA then.

chris365: i see the slave mentality still lives on in you. olodo.

even a lot of drunks will present better conversation than you.

i said ANC uprising almost crippled the economy. i hope your libraries hold the truth about south africa, not just propaganda. cos looking at our conversations here, we seem to be teaching you the hard truth about past events in SA grin
Almost but couldn't, so what is your point? Why would you raise the issue that never happened, aint you making yourself a fool.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 11:16am On Sep 06, 2013
chris365: see this ignorant agbaya. talking like a kid. i think you need to go back to the history of your country. you don't seem to have a clue about anything. check the history of ANC and it's reference by the west before the rainbow south africa.

the apartheid was only bold to attack weak countries like Angola, Zambia and it's weak neighbors. Nigeria openly dared them and openly declared support for ANC cos the apartheid regime supported Biafra. read history boy, lift you from darkness grin
That's a lie, Nigeria were only talking from the distance with a faint voice. The ANC once asked for their military support but instead were denied it in exchange of lousy financial support. Nigeria wouldn't even dare to attack apartheid government.

Why can't you reinstate Biafran agenda and breakaway from Nigeria for good.

chris365: and how did they put a lid on it. militarily or politically.

dude, ANC activities almost killed south african economy. that's a fact
Lie!! Apartheid South Africas economy was more flourishing than it is today and never had any competition in Africa. Those racists whites never took any chance when it comes to the protection of their economy and territory. There were no any foreigners nor any foreign diseases.

NaijaPikinGidi: It is not about taking it lightly but about SANDF's inability to make the best use of it. Air power should be used accordingly. Take the damn crafts to DRC and finish off the job! But wait ... That's not possible because you don't the right calibre of men to pilot them. Again you are giving more excuses that reveal the critical weakness of your military logistics and deployment capability! FIB is not fully setup because SANDF is more interested in the financial gains than anything else. It is a show of your personal interest as SA. The rest of your talk is mere balderdash! Enjoy!
I cannot believe this stupidity that comes out of this men. The UN has never indicated any interest in making use of Gripen fighter jets to fight rebels. Let UN make that request we will make sure that their wish is fulfilled by every count of it. That will the day you will see that SA has a capability to fly Gripens.

chris365: did you go through what you wrote at all? UK kept a lid on IRA and Thatcher was almost assassinated and almost 1000 british troops and SAS died during the insurgency. do you even know anything about the IRA insurgency?

ANC was not as deadly as boko haram, yet were unstoppable with the combined efforts of your military, police and intelligence. now imagine they had training camps in SA and shared the same ideology with boko haram, your country would be shut down by now.
Who said that the ANC was a terrorist group? The ANC was a political party representing the right of the black people. It never failed because it was the most supported party and all that they have done was sabotage which is no way near terrorism.

The apartheid government was so tough that no any country that supported the ANC had ever tried to infiltrate its borders. Of all those countries which included among others, Nigeria, Mozambique, Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe, etc, have never even at once tried to offend SA because they feared the Hiroshima type bomb which could possibly be landed on their countries.

CraigB: Sigh*

One of those.

I take it you are at least 50 years old? you've gotta be. How else could one explain your being stuck in 1943?

Last time I checked some Naai-gerians felt sidelined? They decided "enough is enough" and picked up weapons to fight your government? MEND? Boko Haram? Ring a bell?

I think you need:

a) a book;

b) a zip - for the mouth; and

c) a brain.

You do know that Naai-gerians don't have to travel to South Africa to be killed, right? Boko Haram takes care of that small matter.
What puzzles me is that when they are killed in SA they cry me a river, but when the same is done with them at their backyard nobody says anything. I have never heard anyone of them complaining about being killed in Nigeria but they all have the guts in the to complain that they are being killed in SA.

NaijaPikinGidi: Desperation must be killing you today! From your defunct Velvet Airline to 1Time ... Tell me one South African civilian airline that is not substantially government or foreign owned? Every airline in South Africa is teetering on the fine lines of bankruptcy. Need I put up links to expose your dirty behinds? Pathetic fo.ol.
All of your Airlines are playing YO-YO. You all leave them with a particular name before you leave your country and once you return back home, you find that have all changed their names and under a new management. This trend keeps on repeating itself over and over again.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 11:27pm On Sep 05, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: You should rather do a count of existing civilian airlines in both countries for your own shock and education.
Nigeria is a bush, smaller than SA in leaps and bounds. FACT grin

to think that this person graduated fro two universities. SMH
Look who is talking, as if he is writting anything better. I even pity your children more because they will have to be raised in poverty and eventually leave Nigeria in search of greener pastures just like you.

NaijaPikinGidi: Do you MsauZA still have a head? Because the last time I checked you had no brain.

You blunder by saying there are no civilian airlines in Nigeria ... I point you to Arik Air that continues to give your lousy SAA a run for Nigeria/SA passenger traffic and you feign silence only to resurface with same old emptiness? Even Nigeria's military runs an Airline, something your SA and SANDF with "big budget" cannot afford. The rest of your same old talk is recycled material trashed long long ago! And I will treat them as such. cool
Nigerian Airways has been bankrupt and absorbed by Arik which many do not have a gurantee if is indeed a Nigerias indigenous company. Your gov did not have chinchin to run their own Airline-FACT!!
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 9:41pm On Sep 05, 2013
Nigerian pilots have killed many people than the world combined together. No wonder all of their Airlines were bankrupt to the extent that the whole country had zero Airlines.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 9:36pm On Sep 05, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: Shibobo'ed MsauZA, where is the truth in your assertion that there are no civilian airlines in Nigeria? I point you to one which is South African Airways major headache on the Nigeria/South Africa route and you shrink from stupidity into ignominy? Now your delinquent juvenile brother seeing your stupidity and ignorance in display has weakly come to your rescue by talking about Arik Air's fleet. If you can boldly tell readers how may Airlines in South Africa have closed shop in the past 18 months and how many times the corrupt and grossly mismanaged SAA has been bailed out by your government then, you would have earned yourself some credibility! Like I said recycling is your mainstay! Gabbageman MsauZA and delinquent juvenile brother!
Airline owned by military is something to compete with SAA. Come on, the world knows how bad is your pilots. Nobody wants to fly proudly Nigerian, no wonder your pilots are trained by us.

Why should I try something new when the truth prevails. You are beaten as bro.

chris365: i really don't understand how hypocrisy has become a life style for south africans.

let's not talk about UK, Russia and other world powers that also faced such problems(many till date),
South africa was almost crippled by ANC terrorists during the good times of the real SADF. it was so bad that the country had to be handed over to these terrorist group that transformed to a political party.

you think internal insurgency can easily be curtailed militarily? why not ask britain how they ended the IRA crisis or whether SADF was even close to ending the ANC.

boko haram now attacks from weak cameroon, unable to claim one portion of land in Nigeria, even at that their leadership has been weakened within two years etc.. if that's not progress, then tell me what it is as you claim to be in the military
Nigerian military is too weak for BH that's all. America has also offered to help the faint heated who use civilians as a cover to fight BH.

NaijaPikinGidi: That ratio remains a fraud like everything else SANDF on the African continent. How come you are unable to repeat the same feat in DRC. Stop your lies please!

The Boko Haram issue is more of a Policing item than a military matter. They only cowardly go about killing civilians using civilian appearances! The military engageed them and dislodged them and have held ground since the SoE declaration. That's a strong military for you! We do not retreat. Boko Haram has retreated, evaporated and gone underground across nearby Camerounian territory! The work to be done here is in intelligence gathering and civilian/regular police action! Military intelligence is at work, that's why the Army has largely succeeded! Help yourself now!
There's a huge difference between offensive and defensive. South Africa in CAR were merely defensive and simply defended their lives to the extent that the enemy raised the flag. In DRC, SA were on offensive mode to push the enermy back in position until the enemy retreated. That's all.
