If any jet wants to attack our frigates and fly 13Km away from the effective range of Umkhonto MK2 which is 15km, then that will only tell you that the enermy wants to show you some flying skills. The enermy will be rendered useless because instead of being at war, he will be showcasing his talent in an Air show away from the frigates. |
agaugust: your Umkhonto missile can keep on radar locking and unlocking as many Alpha jets as it wants, fact is that it will waste all its efforts because the Alpha jets will fly at 13km above sea level outside the range of the Valours Umkhonto missiles, or some flying demonic spirits in the air will use their bat wings to help south african missiles fly more than their technical range from DENELI don't know what do you understand by 15km range. Yes you can fly 13km away from the 15km radius of valour type frigate because umkhonto is sad to be more faster than any pilot can ever take any counter-measures. Everything happens instantly in seconds and beside there is no any pilot who can take such a risk unless is not well upstairs. |
agaugust: i hear that it is a harmless patrol to help french oil company Total Nigeria Limited offshore get some protection.Simple, because imperialists show you their white teeth and your leaders are willing to obey them in exchange of protection. |
agaugust: .Albatros is rather recce than fighter jet and they are generally light aircraft. Any Airforce is as powerful as its fighters and trainers. Your Airforce is weak in that department, thus cannot compare to its South African counterpart whether refurbished or not. SAAF is however more powerful than NAF. Like it or not, it will only be fools who will be convinced by your idiocy. |
agaugust: no nigerian F-7 jet has crashed since the 3 that happened 2009 to 2011. the F-7 jets have done combat action in mali and borno state and no crashes.Your F7 crashed while on idle and generally Nigerian pilots are regarded as bad flyers. Do you want me to show you the list of Air crashes in Nigeria? Not impressive indeed because it happened every year. |
agaugust: hahaha 33% brain ! i set a technical t.rap for all you south africans to fall inside and say what you just said now.You know nothing about missiles. Speak about forth generation fighters which always stand 10% chances to manuevre missiles attacks and not the slow Alpha jets. Roland SAMs were specifically developed to stop such jets as Alpha jets. |
agaugust: your south african military men on nairaland dont know real life war, so you depend on what i tell you from time to time, and i will never tell you everything i know in one day, not even in one year. it comes from many years of training which you do not have.Umkhonto does not even need to hide from Alpha jets. It has got double the speed of Alpha jets and definitely once its sensitive seeker head locks with your Alpha jet, that I am 120% sure your fighter pilot is already with his ancestors in heaven. FACT! |
agaugust: .Renewed Airforce my foot. Do you call Alphas and Chengdu F7s forth generation fighters? Damn until you bring forth or fifth generation your Airforce will remain in mess. It doesn't matter whether you have 100 Alpha and 100 F7, because those jets are notorious of falling on their own from the sky without being hit by anything. Even pilots are scared of flying those jets. |
agaugust: it is still too short range. fact. What is wrong with you? since when ancient Alpha jets fly more than that range because your 13km is smaller than 15km. How do you do your maths there in Nigeria |
agaugust: yes i used the MK 2 but it is still too short range to hit any of the 30 nigerian jets flying at 13km above sea level.MK2 range is 15 km, so what? |
agaugust: sorry sir, you have no relevant military qualifications, technical competence and professional training to say the above comment/opinion with acceptable authority.Your arguments are now growing to bore us because you keep on changing statements like underwear or are you just testing our patience. Recently you were boasting that no plane can hit the target at high altitudes and now you are here telling us that your old Alphas can hit targets at its service ceiling. You really cannot stand by your words mister. |
agaugust: none of your business what i want to hit from 13km above sea level. Why wouldn't they use MK 2 instead which have better seeker head to lock and down all your plane like a fog. You like to limit us to suit yourself. |
agaugust: source please !Provide SAEngine with a link first to prove your NNS Arandu is capable of firing 8 multiple missiles at once. If you can do that I will be at handy to provide you with a link. |
NaijaPikinGidi: I wonder how I missed this silly comment! Only your low level thinking ability will make you ask the stupid question above! Are high school/university civilian sporting activities what you now equate to heavy military drills (physical, mental, psychological, etc.). The rest of your comment is more of your lying efforts to save face! SMH and feeling sorry for you!I really do not have any energy for this. It was discussed and it came to pass. I told you those were the games we used to play during our spare over weekends and were not as formal as those of real military training. Besides there were many of us who have had military training before, remember I was in the army before I went on to further my tertiary education. We taught other folks how to play such games/sport. Beside I don't know what are you up to because I have even shown you a more intense university reserves training programme. So I do not know what do you want and I am not going to go any further with this. This is where I call it THE END. More of it will just be ignored. |
agaugust: keep running away from me, you hear ?Yes, there is no secret about it, your F7 were built from China's used F7 specially for Nigeria. |
agaugust: so DENEL is now a soldier and Dicon a military man, both going to fight each other ?Oh! I forgot that your small 419 brain cannot function properly. I meant that Denel develop far better weapons that are more modernised than your so called Dicon. |
agaugust: i enjoy kicking all you south africans around the field like a footballYes, that only exist in your small 419 world. Everything that you say doesn't have a sense upstairs. |
Denel will defeat Dicon and that's a fact. ![]() |
agaugust: like this....120,000 soldier force very experienced nigerian army vs 30,000 soldier force no experience south african armyBwahahahahaha!! No matter how strong a man can be, but when it comes to weapons they are reduced to just new born babies. The G5 and G6 will be making mess in Nigeria and Our weak engined Rooivalk will be killing all your 100 000 soldiers mercilessly. |
agaugust: the first engine project is dead because it performed badly during tests, if you try it again, south african Rooivalk helicopters will end up like this....It had never entirely failed, it is just that it could not perform to the way it was expected. South Africa developed many helicopters before without any foreign assistance. |
agaugust:Listen let us put all that away and Nigeria put theirs away and see what will be left behind. After everything else let us engage our forces in war and see who will win. |
agaugust: source says all 8 otomat missiles can be fired against a single target and that is all i care about, i dont care how many seconds apart interval and i will continue to post it as often as i wish because i have a source to prove multiple firing.Even three missiles at a time are also regarded as multiple firing. FACT ![]() |
agaugust: i posted few days ago, evidence of arms sales log showing ethiopia and eritrea buying SU-27 Flanker fighter jets and Mig 29 Jets almost every year of the Badme war 1998-2000, the jets arrived complete with russian and ukranian pilots to fly them. where was UN at that time ? sleeping ? no sanctions !Simple, let us remove South Africas foreign made weaponry and Nigeria remove theirs, so that we can see if Denel cannot defeat Nigeria. Denel made weapons will definitely defeat all African countries If we were to put aside all foreign made weapons from all our armies. Denel will simply fly their rooivalk with their first engines and destroy the whole of Nigeria. |
agaugust: english language is your problem not mine. the source on Otomat missile i posted says Otomat is configured to have all missiles fired againat a single target. so, NNS ARADU can fire all 8 Otomat missiles against a single target like south african valour frigate. the missiles can be fired one by one and that means a vaour frigate 50km away will be attacked by 8 missiles fired one by one at intervals, but they will tail each other and all 8 missiles will be travelling simultaneously at the same time in a long chain/trail/queue but will arrive on target at intervals of some seconds because they were fired at ships command discretion like 30 seconds apart.Agaugust I wonder if you sometimes can even understand a thing about what you have written yourself. You want to reduce the technology of missiles into that cheap high school physics. The technology behind such a masterpiece is very complex for the whole of Nigeria to comprehend including their academia at large. |
@Agaugust- I see you are confidently making uniformed assertions that South Africa has never produced any manned war plane. The whole world know that Atlas Cheetah was produced in South Africa and not in France even though it bears resemblance of Mirage fighter jet. Tell me did Atlas Cheetah fall from heaven? The answer is a big NO. Atlas Cheetah is proudly South African product and was developed from scratch on South African soil. Who tells China that their products does not belong to them, because the world know that China survive by copying products from other countries. China has even stole many of South Africas weapons and design them as their own where they have even tried to copy Rooivalk. The AHLAC is another SA made recce and war plane developed in South Africa, irrespective of who assisted where. Nigeria has never even tried anything nor even to copy design of any plane. With respect to the G5 and G6 Artillery guns those are designed to hit targets at long ranges not to hit your cassava farms. Those Guns are intended to destroy your military establishment by the simple use of coordinates on the map and those guns are very accurate at the normal weather, with the gun is set at the right coordinates, it will take out the target by more than 80% chances. Moreover the G8 are meant to scatter your troops in disarray until our infantry launches offensive to finish off the job from army that is already disorganised. |
blackchris: like the way south africans have been changing theirs? 400, 600, 800? meaning you and seleka share the same deceitful tendencies? cry me a river abeg.South Africa never lied to you they televised the funeral of thirteen soldiers for the whole world to see. That seleka man who is claiming to have killed 36 SA soldiers must have been Rambo indeed by fighting and counting how many soldiers they have killed at the same time. In war you do not speculate, you wait until the war subsided, then you can know how many were killed and how many were injured. You cannot surely differentiate between the dead and the injured because both of them lie still on the ground. South Africa had the credible source about the number of their casualties while Seleka did not reveal the number of their casualties out of shame and disgrace. We have only come to know about their casualties from the doctors without borders who helped to resuscitate many of their injured rebels some of whom died in theatre and some on arrival at hospital, while many more were already killed on the spot in the battlefield. Instead, Seleka resorted to their usual insult of planting propaganda to confuse international media. The international media came to SA and confirm the numbers themselves and from there dismissed Seleka claims as lies. I know that ratio must have been a disappointing news on the part of Seleka as they expected to have killed more, they, ofcourse, could not believe it and their only consolation was to fabricate lies looking into how many comrades they have lost in relation to the small number of South Africans they have killed. The greatest disappointments of the century indeed. |
blackchris: bla bla bla bla bla..... your own minister and officers have already spoken. you are just a civilian novice that's trying to give himself hope. beg zuma to save your military first before you can talk of fighting great Nigerian military.Bwahahahahaha!! How on earth can the minister of ANC criticise the military that is run by his political party that made him the minister. Can you by any chance analyse your statements before you type anything, because you are making a mockery of yourself. How will the ANC keep that minister who criticises its own administration. Zuma will not spare that minister any day in office. He or She will be fired by not only the president but the ANC as a whole. You must make sense even when your 419 brain cannot allow you to do so. |
Nigerian military is just used to its level, that's why its citizens will never bad mouth its force because they do not know the difference between well equipped military and poorly equipped one. They have never in any occasion were the best equipped military in the continent. That is why they cannot figure the difference. The Egyptians will surely criticise their military if suddenly the new government can decide to cut ties and dismiss the annual US military aid, which eventually might lessen their military power. Many would possibly write in various blogs to scrutinise their military, but that would not mean their military is weak only that they are not used to seeing their military on that level. |
blackchris: thank you for supporting my argument. It doesn't matter if our Airforce is a shadow of its former itself, but with the little that we have we are ten thousands better equipped than Nigeria Airforce with fighter jets, missile technology and transportation. |
Now I understand why the world rate South African IQ to be greater than that of other Africans across the continent. We really do not have to go far to prove it, because our testimony is our one and the only Blackchris. |
blackchris: i see you've picked up from where @mike..za ran off. before you can talk of possibilities, there has to be evidence that such has happened before. i understand that what you've discovered on this thread about Nigerian military made you south africans pee your pants, and you want to use embargo and sanctions(which you clearly don't know about) as pretext just to give yourselves some hope.It seems as if there is still a lot to learn. South Africa was sanctioned during bush war and Iraq during gulf war. Google is your friend, relate with it and it will reveal the truth to you. |
blackchris: dude unlike you i like to judge things from real perspective. and from reality, your air force isn't looking good at allBwahahahahaha!! If our Airforce is not good then yours is worse because with the little that we have your fleet cannot even come closer. The only reason why many South Africans are criticising our Airforce is because they are not used to the standard that our Airforce find itself in, rather they are used to our Airforce conquering the whole of Africa. Remember, SA was once a military power in Africa and now they want to compare our Airforce to that of former regime which invested more of its revenues in defence. The ANC has now turned the tides because it does not project itself as a bully like a former apartheid government which used to invade Zim, Namibia, Botswana and Mozambique whichever way they like to launch attack on ANCs military establishment installed on those countries. The ANC decided to cut the huge budget that our defence used to enjoy and divert it somewhere else, particularly education. |
