OfficialAwol: Aboki thinks we are still in 1967 when Nigerian soldiers committed atrocities against Biafrans and got away with it.
Hague awaits them.
From their Commander in Chief to the least idiot that fired the bullet.
Blood sucking demons!
And to think some people are here defending this atrocity makes me cringe. if you have brothers or sisters in enugu right now just call them and ask them what is happening there rather than running your mouth here on social media when so many people have already turned to refugees in their own country. |

manduwem: Well I believe the two outstanding words in the report are... PRESENTED & ALTERNATIVE PERMANENT ACCOMODATION
I stand to be corrected but none of the above meant the house was a permanent deal (the phrase alternative permanent accomodation in the Nigerian context isn't the same with dictionary meaning). I merely asked the OP to clarify because I didn't no N-Army owned a house on that street. So it's either it was bought or leased. But about your comment on being given particulars of the house, it wasn't captured in the report by the OP. So I'm guessing ure conversant with the report happenings personally? These were just the basis for my comment Yeah I have the video where they presented the house to him and in appreciation he said this is the house he was not able to build but was given to him when he least expected. |

manduwem: OP, me I applaud the gesture but the question that hasn't been asked remains... Who will pay the rent when the current one expires? I didn't see it in your post. Abi the man must die before then? If you ask me a room & parlour would have sufficed so he can pay from his pension (because I didn't hear any mention of his family). someone that was given the particulars of the house you here talking about the house rent renewal. Do landlords pay house rents in their own house too? |

pacespot: go over my previous posts to see how I have spoken against the minimum wage, I know you are a salary earner, that is why you are happy with the policy, that is a short-term gain, but in the long run, you might lose more with the new minimum wage policy. while you are an armed robber or company owner that's why you are not happy about it I guess? in your entire life what you been able to do that changed someone's life? all you people know how to do best is just to criticize but never contribute in anyway. |

pacespot: you are the only one who reasons well as a Nigerian, minimum wage will not solve the economy problem in this country, in fact, it will create more problems than it solves, because this will discourage savings by businessmen due to fear of losing the value of their money, unless they can convert the money to hard currency. the more people are discouraged from saving, the more inflationary pressure will be applied on prices of goods and services. at the end of the day, workers will not be able to enjoy the benefits of the pay rise, the marginal benefits of domestic inflations will fall into foreign countries whose goods have become costlier due to higher exchange rate of naira to dollars. And it was the same people like you who have been making noise that the president is delaying the approval of the minimum wage. Human beings with complaints are like 5&6. |

ajbf: In February 2011, FG started the implementation of the new national minimum wage of #18,000 per month. The naira exchange rate to dollar was $1 = #154. This means the then minimum wage in 2011 was $116.88 Today, the FG want the workers to be rejoicing that their minimum wage has increased from #18,000 to #30000, which only equivalent to $83.44 as you have put it up there. Is this an increment in real terms? please stop mentioning that 18,000 minimum wage because the only minimum wage that affected my salary was the one during OBJ and yar'adua. That one of GEJ made my salary to decrease instead of increasing. |
