Good morning doctors in the house, please I need a help. I don't want to bore you with my story but I will make it brief.
I have been suffering from pulmonary tuberculosis for almost two decades and have taken an anti tuberculosis on almost three to four occasions but I'm still coughing and whenever I go for a sputum test the results are always negative, so finally when I went to teaching hospital I was diagnosed with aspergillosis of the lungs and was placed on itraconazole for six months which I strictly followed but up till now I'm still coughing so I don't know if there's any other drugs I can use because I'm really not comfortable with the disease. thanks in anticipation.

I understand what you are trying to say but the question here is that how sure are we that this said man is willing to let go of what has happened? You never can tell after she might have agreed to quit the job he will still jump to a different condition and one thing you should know is that finding a job in this country is a hot cake and quitting the job is not a good idea because if he later calm down and decided that she should start working again the job probably must have been taken by another there by sending her into a fresh labour market in search of job. Though we have not heard from the man whether he has been asking her to quit her job before the development but if he using the development as a bargaining tool then I must say he is being childish.

I don't think this issue is enough reason for the husband to ask her to quit her job and take care of the kids because she is no longer fertile, I won't be surprise if she decides to quit the job he may as well decide to get another wife who can give him more children with the condition that if she still wants to bear the name married woman and answer his name as a husband because to me three children is kk for an average Nigerian and asking this poor woman to quit her job means he just wants to frustrate her life. Some men even delude themselves with the idea that they don't have a biological clock which is another lie. Every living thing has a biological clock. At certain ages men tend to develope erectile problems and prostate problems too. Also the quality of men's sperm decreases after age 40 but most men don't know this and there is increased risk of having an unhealthy baby.

In Europe men marry very early and even marry their age mates all the time. Justin Beiber who is just 23 or 24 is already engaged. Many european footballers marry in their early or mid twenties too. I think finances has to do with it but I think the major reason Nigerian men don't marry early is simply because they don't want to.

I totally disagree with you because I'm a man and I'm willing to marry but but the means to sponsor the marriage is a very big factor, that's the more reason why you see girls would be persuading their fiance to try and do something on her head and I repeat we men are scared because of money because Nigerian ladies can easily send you to an early grave if you don't have money because there will be no peace for you in that family.

Was talking to my mom some days ago and I got to know that my father got married at the age of 23/24. Can you just imagine? Nowadays Nigerian men thinking they have all the time marry when they're approaching 40 having young kids to cater for in their old age.

You don't compare 1960, s to 2018's these are two different centuries, then when you get married all you need to do was just to put food on the table at most with clothing but nowadays we are not even talking about the children's school fees but the mothers are not also helping matters because they always like comparing themselves with neighbors, friends and anybody their eyes can see and expect the man to do all that including that of her family which I believe is the major factors affecting the youths from getting married. Men are seeing what their colleagues or friends are going through and are trying to take caution before you know they are already 40+. Lastly and I repeat unless our Nigerian ladies learn how to be contented with whatever they are having at their disposal and stop comparing themselves with other women Nigerian Men would continue to marry at old age. (You can imagine someone who has seen the woman he loves and she loved him in turn but the list for the traditional marriage is 1.5 million for someone who's yearly income is not even up to 500k, how do you expect such person to start thinking of getting married?)
