90 percent performance. BAT is repositioning Nigeria on a different route from how we used to have it. I see hope rather than despair |
Exceed15:Olodo, do you think any foreign investor will come if you undervalue the dollars they are bringing. Go to school, you said no, now you are disgracing your lineage on a public forum. |
flexlatifa:Check yourself and stop blaming Nigeria for your woes. Take full responsibility. |
politicoNG:He did not ask the court to be brief. The Justice asked for the lawyers to respond to the judgement so far. He felt that was the end of the judgement and he observed that they have not dismissed or granted the relief sought. The Justice then pointed out that the Judgement was still ongoing and he apologised. I watched it live. |
Abufarmer101:If he contests again, he will lose with a wider margin. A bad product is never sellable |
fergie001:Awon werey ![]() |
greenandy:Go to school, you wont listen. Abacha's son case happened in Nigeria. He was subjected to Nigeria law. Tinubu's forfeiture happened in the United States, and Nigeria Court must rely on the interpretation by the authorities in the United States. The US authorities said Tinubu was not criminally indicted. And the case was in the civil registry of Illinois,Chicago. So, you are suggesting that the Nigeria court should forcefully make that a criminal case, when the US where it happened said otherwise. And do not forget, the Tribunal Judge said according to Nigeria constitution, after 10 years of conviction, you cant use such conviction against that person. Which means if Tinubu was even convicted, You could not use that to nail him. Get sense, Ogbeni. |
honestivo:Just cite one example please |
chokekachy:Funny Punch Newspaper. If Atiku tendered the result and it did not help Atiku, tell me how it would help Obi. Atiku and Obi are born losers. |
lexy2014:Ogbeni, he is the President, he can use his clout as he pleases. Has he broken any law by going to India? If he has not, stop disturbing us and let us focus on all this gbas gbos taking place in the Tribunal ![]() |
APCnaPDP:It is not. It is the position of the constitution. US constitution own is worse. Someone in a prison, serving terms, can contest for an election and be declared winner. This loophole is what Trump is riding on right now Law is law |
spagettiluv:Yes. Thats the position of the law as stated in the Nigeria constitution. |
lexy2014:What caused all these tears and gnashing of teeth ? ![]() |
cjudy:At bolded is not legal in Nigeria but you guys relied on a case that happened in the US. And US states that it was a civil case and not a CRIMINAL case. So, you expect the court to ignore that. Also, let us say he was convicted and sentenced, according to Nigeria constitution, after 10 years, you cannot accuse him based on that criminal conviction. It is the position of the law and this case, according to US authorities, was a civil case. |
inoki247:Do you know what they call "double jeopardy" in law? You cannot try a person again on the same charge in law. |
Laggafin:Can you please cite your uninformed reason to call the judges comedians, if you will? |
It was detailed. US embassy didnt find any criminal record on me. His case was civil in the US. His forfeiture was done without criminal indictment And any criminal conviction, after 10 years, cannot be used on a person. Thats the position of the constitution. Based on these, obi's prayer was dismissed. |
At the same time, Obi and Atiku are suffering "caridac attack" in the Tribunal |
We warned you guys that the so-called "Software Architect" who claimed to work with amazon was a tainted witness, you guys wouldn't accept. See, how his testimony was set aside and considered INCOMPETENT by the tribunal - Someone who admitted to be a member of Labour Party, and who had earlier contested election on that platform, coming out as a witness. |
Alchemy528:If you know nothing will come out of the tribunal, then why did you guy pin your hope on it? |
Pwettylinda:I am sorry, I dont join issue with chest beater and born-to-lose . Lost at the ballot box, and losing in court. The tribunal judge was even lecturing your silly lawyers the meaning of "shall". Its that low for you guys |
Obi's petition was extremely disgraceful. I will be shocked if the Tribunal does not award a cost against him for wasting the time of the court |
Rumundele:You made a mistake resting. If you had watched it, you would have been tracking Atiku and Obi to give them senseless beatings for giving you false hopes. Their petitions are comical as firmly established by the Tribunal. |
Horus:and your fact, sir? |
Obi should demand refund from his lawyer. Easy peasy for APC so far. They will only approach the supreme court to save face. |
DesignMaestro:Yes I know. They raised that in Atiku too. These litigants are jesters. They have no fact to approach the Tribunal. The Tribunal ought to impose a fine on them for wasting the time of the court. |
ReacherSaidNoth:I will take you serious if you can point to any part of the judgement so far that you disagree with. Let us talk on fact and dont be frivolous in your accusation. I doubt you are even listening to the judgement. So typical! |
southsouthking:I doubt you are watching and listening to the Tribunal Judge The guy is hitting all the right chords. |
Theyoungmaster:For those of you who only see court room in Nollywood, this is how court operates. The Tribunal must follow the law to the letter, not all the rantings going out there will determine the outcome of the case. It is trite in law that he who alleges must prove. They failed to establish their case. |
ReacherSaidNoth:You want to become a judge in your own case? |
Atiku and Obi's petition are being bloodied as I type. How can you approach the Tribunal without clear cut evidence. The Tribunal Judge was so clear and pointed out the loopholes in their petition. For instance, Atiku claimed his votes were reduced without citing exact number of votes that was reduced and the pooling booth it took place. The tribunal said it was too generic, evasive, frivolous and lacks substance. |
koiki4bat:If you take a step back, you will realize that you are the olodo here. For every action, there must an equal and opposite reaction. All you mentioned are consequences to certain actions. So, always reason before you type. |
