Lastly, who are we to judge another culture. Have you questioned the particular rite in question? From my vantage point, it seems that they are venerating women, in their own special way. At least that culture has the foresight to see some clear advantage women have over men: Empathy. Most cultures in the world are in general agreement that women possess a greater emotional IQ than men. And its also generally agreed that women are peacemakers and men are more predisposed to belligerence and violence. We shouldn't judge others, can you truly say your values are superior, just because they are the polar opposite of another person's? I'd say the greatest judgment of values is if they aren't anti human.

Most of Lagos GSP is locked up in the Ivory towers of the big financials. It has nothing to do with the common guy/chick. When you divide all that wealth with the number of people, you get a grossly inflated per capita GSP, that doesn't reflect in anyway whatsoever in the general life conditions of the average Lagosian.

Get rid if this notion that Kenya "depends " on one commodity only. The wildlife attractions, its associated tourist earnings are just a cog in the machinery. This is what happens when you come from a country which has been a mono(oil&gas) economy for more than 5 decades. You become fixated and addicted, and you think everyone else is a drunk!

See Mombasa has a better inter-city rail network, while PH has a better intra-city rail network.

The rail you see in the pictures above is NOT light rail, and neither is it intra city. Its conventional, long distance, with standard gauge. It is about to open anytime now, to replace the older one. Its a countrywide project.

Yes, mobile menus in Kenya are in both English and kiswahili. One can use several apps(mostly locally developed ), in kiswahili.
In Tanzania, one can study certain professional courses entirely in Swahili language.

Nope, we don't "inferiorise​" folks. Its just that on average, the average Tanzanian bloke is less woke and there is a real perception backed by mere observations, that the average kenyan bloke is also more educated. What that means in most cases, us that our perspectives differ and clash based on those factors. FYI slums are also in Dar.

The Standard kiswahili dialect taught in schools from day 1 has its antecedent in the dialect spoken in zanzibar, called KiUnguja. The proper name for Zanzibar is Unguja. In all there are about 17 dialects of Swahili, and the congolese one is among them, and is referred to as KiUngwana. Its very refreshing to hear them speak it ,and remember at least 1/2 of Congolese speak it, so it must have its due attention.

The development of strains in languages is nothing new. Geographical separation can and does cause changes in accents and vocabulary. You yourself said here ghana hausa is different from Nigerian hausa. But its still hausa.

Congolese swahili is as distant and strange to a kenyan ear, as british english is from singapore English. You can tell its swahili right but the meanings are as far as Everest is from Kilimanjaro.
Example:
Congolese swahili:twende kunyama. (Meaning lets go and eat)
Kenyan (and general standard swahili):Twende tule.
Congolese swahili : Place/situation: Fasi.
Kenyan swahili: Mahali.

Use in a sentence:
Congolese: Twende fasi kunyama. (Lets go to a place to eat).
Kenyan: Twende mahali tule.

I was once in Dar es Salaam and at 7 pm during the early evening newscast in kiswahili(all channels), the Tanzanians were all glued to the no.1 kiswahili 7 o'clock news channel called Citizen Nipashe from Kenya.They dont like their own news channels. I mean,its just the other day i learnt that this popstar kid called Justin Bieber is a Canadian!!!You don't hear canadians bragging that they are dominating American music, do you?

for polygamy , I don t know and never seen any polygamous couple, my great grandfather back to what I was told had several wifes, but from my grandparents and all the people that I know no polygamy, the polygamy is seen badly in the society and extremely rare in Algeria and maghreb .

The station doesn't show Tanzanian movies, it seems they had no movie to show then, what we enjoyed was the Mexican soap operas, then indirectly we saw some of their local music videos. Also the old nollywood( which was made for local viewing and had more of the witchcraft) was/is not popular among Nigerian youths.
But let me ask you, do you have beautiful Kenyan girls like Dillish of Tanzania from Big Brother Africa? From my observation only Ethiopian beauty comes close to that of Tanzania from East Africa but we do not see them regularly in BBA nor do we see their musical videos.
