Its well ma. Was told same thing too. Infact till 36 weeks, d placenta was low lying and covering d internal Os (birth canal). Came here and mamas assured all is well and to av an open mind on CS as d most imp thing is #motheralive #babyalive.
But I kept trusting in God and prayed always for a turn around. So I asked for a last scan at 37 weeks and God did it.
The placenta moved up and baby is head down from breech to transverse presentation.
Don't lose hope as well as keep an open mind in case of casity.
May God grant u ur heart desire. Amen

Hmmmm, am presently battling with same issue o, in fact I'm so so so worried, went for scan at 20weeks, d baby is said to b breached, with a low lying placenta, though d doc said there is stil 100% chances for everything to turn normal, my second pregnancy , d first was very normal. I m trusting God for a turnaround . Ur testimony has given me so much hope.

Av u spoken with ur doc? What's is recommendation? Is d fibroid affecting d birth canal?
There's nothing to use to reduce Lo's weight now. Just pray for a safe n easy delivery. U can try d natural ways of induction. But in all God's time is the best.

Am grateful to Allah (swt), my last scan showed placenta has moved up and not hindering baby's engagement. Also Lo is head down (cephalic presentation).
Its only God oo.
Been feeling dull menstrual like pain since yester nyt.
The pain isn't intense. No show yet.
How soon does labour start in 2nd preg?

Its well ma. Explain ur fears to ur doc cuz infection in preg is bad for LO. Also, amoxicillin is safe in first trimester.

Pls experience mums,what do you think ?my doctor prescribed amoxicilllin because I complained of lower abdominal pain, it started with brown discharge but its now yellowish white although not too much,but fear will not let me take the antibiotics ,I am just 12 weeks.thanks

I know discharge is not the only sign of ovulation. What I want to know is if discharge is a MUST whenever one is ovulating.

Cervical mucus isn't the only method to detect ovulation. If u know ur body well, u wud knw whn u are ovulating.
U cud go for follicular tracking, do a progesterone test on cd 21 to know if u did ovulate.
Infertility in men is best diagonsed by a urologist.
Never say never. Believe in God.
All things are possible thru Him.

A pelvic scan will be in order. It rules out a lot of options.
It cud be a dysfunctional uterine bleeding or due to fibroids.
Go for the scan. All the best.

for a whole month? It keeps acting as if it would stop and any

@sayoddy: to my knowledge unripe pawpaw water is for jaundice. As for the 'ipin' u can put drops of breastmilk to d affected eyes but some drs object to it. Best option, take ur child to see his pead.
U can use a postpartum belt for d tummy and let ur husby hlp massage ur body to relieve d swolleness.

Are u anglodyslexic? We're talking medicine, you're talking science. Under negative feedback, a high prolactin secretion triggers a low FSH/LH secretion. In some women, high prolactin secretion may not antagonise the secretion of FSH/LH. You need to read carefully and understand the use of words like 'may/might', 'will/would', 'can/could', and 'probably'.

U are not totally correct. It has been a fact that women with high prolactin level gets pregnant. Science is evolving.

Don't respond to a post you don't understand. If prolactin level is high, ovulation "may not" resume. I see you can't different btw 'may not' and 'will not'. It's true no two humans are the same. Nursing mothers who ovulate 3months after paturition have high FSH/LH level as against an optimal prolactin level. Nursing mothers with low FSH/LH level, as against high prolactin level, will not ovulate 3months, 6months, 9months, 12months after paturition, not until the FSH/LH is high enough. Yea I said it, WILL NOT ovulate.

I beg to differ. No two persons are the same. It is a proven fact that women who are still breastfeeding their LOs get pregnant. Some at 3months, 7months, 9months and immediately after breastfeeding. It just depends on ur body. The fact that u arnt menstrating doesn't mean u arnt ovulating.

Why not space your child a minimum of 12months? Actually the reason why your flow is yet to present is because of high prolactin. As long as your prolactin is stil high, ovulation may not resume. You can carry on with intercourse anyway, and may be fortunate to have it within the time the ovulation would resume, in which case menstruation would not present because the fertilized egg would implant.
The way to increase your chances of conceiving is to discontinue breastfeeding, so you prolactin level can drop. But since your baby is 8months old, I won't advise you discontinue breastfeeding totally. You can reduce frequency, and hopefully your prolactin level would drop.

Sorry ma. It happens in some cases. Whyy not offer it to him when he is hungry or express it in a bottle if he is on d bottle. The bottom line, offer it first before d 2nd one when he is hungry. Hope ds helps.

Just saw day u re more than 36wks gone. That makes chances of baby turning slim. As soonnest said, keep am open mind. CS may b ur best option. cheers.

Hi mama, your chance is very slim. I guess you hv reached d 36wk mark. Placenta is low though not covering the Os, I doubt if any Dr will want to tk any chance. Moreover, ur baby's lie is transverse. If i'm to advise i'll say prepare your mind for elective CS. All the best dear
