You can not tolerate contrary opinion or party affiliations and you claim that you are progressive democrats.
A progressive party that had to retrogress back 30 yrs to pick the most despotic archaic and sectional being as their presidential flag bearer.
GEJ till Janjawiids are delivered from the evil possession of their brains called Buhari. |

chemali: Has Jonathan ever answered the question of the money laundering allegation against his wife? Has he acknowledged the role he played in the malabu scandal? Did he tell us the name of those involved in the gun business when pressed? Has he explained the $20 billion scandal? Now u want a vp candidate to explain the words of a criminal who would say anything to prevent the firing squad. Why not ask Mustapha to clarify. Has tinubu denied his drug dealing past or admitted to his certificate forgery and fake claims of being a Lagosian? Has your Buhari refuted claims that he stole $4 billion dollars and mismanaged the affairs of the NNPC that the newly elected civilian president, Sagari was forced to order a joint investigations with the senate into the activities and earnings of the NNPC during his tenure? Is your saint Buhari not a die hard apologists of the Sbacha regime till this moment even with evidence of repatriated stolen money from abroad? |

Is Obasanjo not from the south? both Muslims and Christians voted massively for him and Nigeria is not divisive , why is your own heart sicken with hatred that you don't want a Muslim to be president. Is that what they teach you in primary school. Mtchew you need surgery on your brain! Nigeria of today is not what it was in 1999 and for your info many northerners protested Obasanjo's emergence. Do you how many times OBJ was threatened with impeachment? Do you know that there wre more sectarian riots during OBJ time than even in today's boko ravaged north? The build up to the insurgency started during obj administration. |

mikeansy: Except I watched a different interview but this is what I saw:
1. The Interviewer established that Buhari is a sour loser who refused to congratulate his opponent even though most credible international institutions adjudged the election to be credible and represent progress.
2. Even though International observers admit that there was violence from both PDP and ANPP. Buhari claims that only PDP engaged in violence and wont climb down even he was given specific examples. That's living in denial.
3. Asked to condemn violence whether from ANPP members or PDP members; Buhari preferred to claim the matter is in court.
4. When his lack to democratic credentials were question he had no credible defence but claimed he became a born again democrat after the collapse of soviet union.
5. When told to his face that as an unelected soldier he had no right to intervened by ousting a democratically elected leader he had no defence.
6. When challenged with the fact that during his rein as dictator he had no time table to return Nigeria to democracy he had no defence either
7. when asked why he stifled the press and jailed journalists who embarrassed the government with the truth he said he did so in order to ensure that Government is focused on the problems of the country.
8. when question why a Government with so much problems like poverty and corruption to deal with had time control how people stood in bus queues he still had no credible defence.
9. His selective anti-corruption campaign where the well connected got off lightly while political enemies got long jail terms or executed was also questioned. He had no defence.
I think Buhari was put in his place by Tim if you ask me. He did not defend anything and was anything but Presidential. There is nothing Presidential about a long history of failed records, no grace, no tact and pursuing views that are diametrically opposed to everybody else even independent international observers!
And quite frankly I am not surprised that Buhari has not been back to BBC Hardtalk since then! This generation of plebs loitering Nairaland will never admit that they have been sold a well concealed bigot and despot as a saint. |

1stCitizen: Let him go ahead and buy a space shuttle if he likes. He will be kicked by Nigerians before the aircraft is delivered and then leased out to a new national carrier to earn money for the Federal government. Why you daft Yorubas keep seeing yourselves as regulators to the central govt at the expense of your local affairs in your state is a mystery. Tinubu not so recently acquired a private jet from your collective magga states una no complain. It's not like the FG is using cocoa earnings to procure this jet if this crap is true. |

Do you think the President uses all the aircraft you ignorant dunce. The only aircraft used by the president is NGR 001. Even if we are to accept that he is as poor as a mosque rat that will only serve to show that after serving at the highest pinnacles in government and as a head of state which I am sure he was paid for, the man can not manage his own savings but some how feels that he can manage Nigeria's commonwealth. Most of you complaining about the total number of aircraft operated by the Presidential Air Fleet are ignorant on who expandede the fleet to its current capacity.
Buhari confiscated executive jets purchased by NNPC, NITEL, NEPA and NPA and commandeered them into the presidential fleet.
Prior to this the Presidential air fleet had only 3 aircrafts during the Sagari era.
Those jets were at the disposal of Buhari and Idiagbon only. |
Politics › Re: President Jonathan To Acquire A New Private Jet? by MudRaker: 4:36pm On Dec 23, 2014 |
First of all it is not a personal acquisition. The purchase is by the Presidential Air Fleet.
Secondly, the source is suspect.
Thirdly, PAF services not only the president but foriegn affairs delegations. |
