fk001: Lol I'm only saying it on behalf of those people driving especially in Lagos.
I sympathise with them on how those Task force extorts them daily.
I still stand by my words ehailing should not be a full time job or at least you should have other things running for you. Ehailing is a job with so many risk and uncertainties and disadvantages It wastes your time You make peanuts thinking you are making money. until when you have issues or repairs with car, you will understand It exposes you auto crash or accident to any given time. It's dulls and block your brain, you will never think of better ways to make huge money that will give you the life style you want. And this is why alot of drivers are stuck and trapped, they dare not quit cos they will go hungry It's kill your self esteem, self worth and self confidence. It exposes you to assault by law enforcement agencies, Riders, car owner partners, Tout, arm robbers etc It damages and wreck your car before recouping the money you invested on it It affects your health badly, you could develop diabetes, hypertension, poor circulation of blood, nerve damage, scatia, eye defects, Neuropathy, chronic back pain and so many illness associated with stress and prolong driving and sitting in one position for a long period of time. All these don't usually show on time until when you start ageing on the business. Exploitation from App coy. They take 30% of your money. You are left with little after other expenses You are target to car snatchers if you drive Coro Road safety, police, Lastma, VIO, Local government boys, Airport official, Task force are waiting to Collect your hard earned money. Cos you will break law on duty, it's unavoidable. There is no bright future with Ehailing, if you stay longer on it. It will kill your destiny. Except it is your destiny to move Lagos. You will receive all manner of insults you have never received in your life. |

Viking07: I agree 100% with this. But e-hailing is not something you want to spend the rest of your life doing. Especially if it is your ONLY source of income. There are so many dynamics. By all means I’d continue to encourage anyone involved to please have a 2nd income, it doesn’t matter how little. Pearl1910 is a good example of diversification. If one door closes you should have another door on standby. I am very sure even Mr Cheerful also have his own side gig. Funny enough it was his dashboard that got me into this hustle.
Yesterday on my way to the airport, I had a serious accident involving 6 cars after one useless bread seller decided to drive one way at high speed, 4 cars were severely damaged(tumbled upside down), two of us were lucky because 1, we were not on high speed and 2, God just took over my steering I was able to avoid about 3 cars before the final impact. I just parked jeje and called my mechanic . I’ve spent approximately N156,000 between yesterday and this morning. I’ll be picking up my car in few hours. My bumper, headlights, radiator, condenser, bonnet were all damaged. Las Las my insurance company go still refund me sha. Emancipation ! Emancipation !! Emancipation !!! Alot of pilots here still didn't get my message. They will get it. when I launch my mission with full force.

northbird: 3084 ÷8000 * 100= 38.5%
Just because Bolt brought a rider, you want 38.5% commission..... They will come and say commission is still 20%. They went and mischievously tweaked the booking fee, so that when you look at the breakdown, it still looks like 20%. Since Uche left, Bolt isn't what it used be. Ridiculous commission they take from hard working drivers nowadays is crazy. You hardly keep enough after expenses. That Bella girl is out of touch with realities on ground. The company is gradually going down and she didn't know. This is one of the reasons for my recent outburst. |

Ehailing that people have used to save up and travel out? Start other side business? Pay school fees? Feed families? Purchase assets? As in ehn. . . His failures and ignorance is too pronounced in his life that he had to try and share it with others but his plan has failed here today

And I still get to keep my job and can still afford to squeeze out time on weekends to drive on ehailing if I choose to.
You’re there saying someone should give up what puts food on his and his family’s table because you yourself couldn’t feed or make headway in the same job the person is doing. Projecting your inadequacies and numerous failures on other hustling people just to feel good about yourself
Better run away from this thread and stop coming here to be dulling other peoples shine all because you managed to return the vehicle you drove for years in Lagos on Uber without achieving sh1t . . . Since 2015 till now lu le

You say I will be waiting for December for 5 extra years because YOU yourself know you can’t and couldn’t make anything tangible while you were driving your hp or rental all those years ago lol you FAILED yourself and you are all alone in that miserable boat you occupy on the rough high seas. Someone here drove on ehailing of a year and saved up more than a million naira and you are still there chanting that a human being can’t be a millionaire with his driving skills on ehailing in the same Lagos you failed in?
Without any due respect, you have an ostrich head (big head with groundnut brain) that’s why you must have sold your fathers land or house to quit driving and enter your phantom online trading after failing year after year on the roads moving Lagos upandan.
See ya mawut like online trading lol lazy mugu better go and look for someone else that has a very low mentality like you to discourage his hustle and stop littering here with your bad energy ELEDE

Conner44: See you . . . You forgot to tell us how many years in totality you allegedly wasted out of your life driving on ehailing before you were able to raise the capital to get involved in your alleged trading of nameless phantom goods online and offline. Or did the capital fall from the trees?
You drive for years and saved up to start your business abi? Why can’t you allow someone else drive for years and save up to purchase another vehicle to give a subordinate to drive and make periodic remittances to him? Or isn’t that another business model as well? Must everyone stop driving to go into something else?
After you resigned driving after some years and started selling online and offline for another amount of years what other business have you ventured into since then with the capital you should have saved up from your ‘online & offline’ business? Or are you now willing to die ontop the online and offline selling business forever? Even after your god has opened your 3rd and 4th spiritual eyes?
Everybody has what works for them depending on how diligent the person is while working at it. If driving was working for you then you’d still be doing it wouldn’t you? It wasn’t working again for you either because you weren’t principled or your health couldn’t take the heat hence your withdrawal right? You can’t say it was a waste of your life and that’s why you stopped if not then how did you come about the capital you used in starting up you new ‘offline and online’ trading business?
Or did you sell an asset or property to delve into your another business after failing for years at driving?
Hmmm . . . It's obvious from your comments u re not a driver and never drove on any these platforms. Typical spoilt Brat that mummy and daddy will buy Car for and look for a driver that will be giving you weekly rentals. Continue with your motivation speeches. |

Conner44: No no baba bishop but check am nau
Why is that Muhammad trying to discourage that guy from his legitimate hustle?
Does he think finding or keeping a job in today’s Nigeria is easy? What of when you finally get a job that pays manageably but you keep getting owed salaries for days or weeks? What if you get a good job but have a terrible person for a boss ? A job you can get suspended or sacked at any time? No time for yourself as you have to be up and doing every day for 5-6 days a week without fail from 6am you leave your house till 8pm you arrive back home? Miss a day of work or come late a few minutes past resumption time and you get queried?
Chai! Hooo gawd How much money will bellefull you when you don’t have peace of mind? Does he think everybody is as learned as he is to secure the type or level of job he has that is making him feel so secure and comfortable with his daily routine?
As in ehn . . . Me I no want talk too much about this issue. I’m still looking forward to December dashboard postings here
one very clean bald head is getting pissed on soonest December posting: nah where u still dey, u still dey. Next 5 years u will still be waiting for December posting. Weren’t you here when other drivers on hp paid up and took over ownership of their vehicles? Even as recently as last week or so there was a testimony here of someone becoming a vehicle owner via hp under 12 months . . . Or did you miss that episode?
