olakrim: Salam! pls,no one should bother saying I should end the relationship cos I have decided to take her as my wife after much considerations..........not after being with her for 4yrs+ Actually my girlfriend is igbo/Christian while am yoruba/Muslim and we have decided to leave it as it is except that our children will practice Islam which is my own religion....I would love her to convert though but I know Islam is about free will,so I will just wait for Allah to touch her while she is in my house.
Now this is where I need your advice..... We are actually planning to get married soon and its going to be traditional and court wedding as agreed, but I don't know how I am going to balance the religion aspect at the traditional wedding since the whole thing will take place in the east. Brothers and sister, how do I stay within the tenets of Islam and at the same time not make my in-laws feel encroached? What does Islam state relating to this kind of situation? ADVICE hollermeelaycon: I see u r already a judge concerning wt Allah has clearly stated in the Qur'an. Pls kindly refer to surah Al-Maidah ayat 5 n also ayat 48 wch i post below We have sent down the Book to you with the truth, fulfilling [the predictions] revealed in the previous scriptures and determining what is true therein, and as a guardian over it.. Judge, therefore, between them by what God has revealed, and do not follow their vain desires turning away from the truth that has come to you. To every one of you We have ordained a law and a way, and had God so willed, He would have made you all a single community, but He did not so will, in order that He might try you by what He has given you. Vie, then, with one another in doing good works; to God you shall all return; then He will make clear to you about what you have been disputing. Seek more knowledge on dis issue n refrain from condemning d idea - Fiqh of the family » Conditions of Marriage. arures 20227: Wants to marry Christian woman
I like one girl, and we are gonna get WED in future. My parents are fully agreed with my decision, so her parents. Everything is going alright. The problem I am encounted with is, "She is Christian." While discussing with each others, I have asked her to Embrace ISLAM, And I have been given many information regarding islam so she can understand each and everything, It seems she doesnt want to EMBRACE islam. As she said " I am very very strong christian, I just cannot accept any faith than christianity, I cannot become muslim. She doesnt eat pork, nor, does she drinks, She is a Chaste lady with her true feelings and a Clean heart. This is true that she has nothing against my faith. She is agree to accept me with my faith and she wants me accept her with her faith, and the children would be MUSLIMS. This is what we have decided so far. Some of my friend adviced me to FORCE her to EMBRACE ISLAM, Like threaten "I won't marry you if you dont Embrace islam" This is what my friend adviced me, But as far as I realize, This wouldnt be fair at all. please Tellme Should i force her to become muslim? I guess, to embrace islam she must have the feelings that ALLAH is one and she should have the real feelings instead of fake feelings. I dont want to force her cause I scare, that IF she becomes muslim JUST to show me, JUST to get married with me, Its gonna be SIN on me. I want she to become muslim from her true feelings and real feelings with that ALLAH is one and he is the god. I am trying my best to provide her knowledge of islam and to showing her the right path. Please tellme Should i force her? IF she refuses to embrace Islam, Can i marry her? Can I and her get married and lives as husband and wife?. Published Date: 2002-06-19 Praise be to Allaah.
Allaah has permitted us to marry Jewish and Christian woman, on condition that they are chaste and avoid zina (unlawful sexual relations), and that the wali (guardian) of that Christian woman is a Muslim.
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Made lawful to you this day are At‑Tayyibaat [all kinds of Halaal (lawful) foods, which Allaah has made lawful (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables and fruits)]. The food (slaughtered cattle, eatable animals) of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) is lawful to you and yours is lawful to them. (Lawful to you in marriage) are chaste women from the believers and chaste women from those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) before your time when you have given their due Mahr (bridal-money given by the husband to his wife at the time of marriage), desiring chastity (i.e. taking them in legal wedlock) not committing illegal sexual intercourse, nor taking them as girlfriends. And whosoever disbelieves in Faith, [i.e. in the Oneness of Allaah and in all the other Articles of Faith i.e. His (Allaah’s) Angels, His Holy Books, His Messengers, the Day of Resurrection and Al‑Qadar (Divine Preordainments)], then fruitless is his work; and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers”
[al-Maa'idah 5:5]
What is meant by chaste is refraining from zina (unlawful sexual relationships).
Ibn Katheer said:
This is the view of the majority, which the most correct opinion, so as to avoid the combination of her being a non-Muslim with her being unchaste, which would mean that she is totally corrupt and thus her husband will get, as the Arabic proverb says, “Bad goods and cheated on the weight.” The apparent meaning of the aayah is that what is meant is those who are chaste and refrain from zina.
Tafseer Ibn Katheer, 3/55
The condition of the woman’s wali being a Muslim is indicated by the verse (interpretation of the meaning):
“And never will Allaah grant to the disbelievers a way (to triumph) over the believers”
[al-Nisa’ 4:141]
However, we do not advise you to marry a non-Muslim woman, nor do we advise you to marry just any Muslim woman. For married life is not based only on beauty and attraction, rather the wise Muslim must look with insight at what is beyond that, because he needs to be sure that his house will be looked after in his absence, and he needs to bring up his children, and he will not be able to find that or other things which every wise husband seeks, except with a religious Muslim woman. This is the advice of our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Please whoever is deleting this truth post should fear the Day of Judgement and accountability. I have posted this before buh it was deleted. |

Buh the man-made laws who says a 13yr old is a minor have not only shy away from the various vices that affects a 13yr old girl buh encourages them. No Pastor Bakare u dont have the moral or spiritual jurisdiction to judge based on Sharia. And a believing slave woman is better than a polytheist, even though she might please you. And do not marry polytheistic men [to your women] until they believe. And a believing slave is better than a polytheist, even though he might please you. Those invite [you] to the Fire, but Allah invites to Paradise and to forgiveness, by His permission. And He makes clear His verses to the people that perhaps they may remember. (Mumtahina 10 ) O you who have believed, when the believing women come to you as emigrants, examine them. Allah is most knowing as to their faith. And if you know them to be believers, then do not return them to the disbelievers; they are not lawful [wives] for them, nor are they lawful [husbands] for them. But give the disbelievers what they have spent. And there is no blame upon you if you marry them when you have given them their due compensation. And hold not to marriage bonds with disbelieving women, but ask for what you have spent and let them ask for what they have spent. That is the judgement of Allah; He judges between you. And Allah is Knowing and Wise. |

EBUBS: Due to the high cost of data/internet in Nigeria, Nigerians are getting so used to the habit of looking for short-cut/awoof, mostly among the students. Inasmuch as using these cheats has advantages, their disadvantages counts more. 1. ITS STEALING: Stealing is defined as the illegal act of taking another person's property without that person's freely-given consent. the truth can be bitter you know but it must be told(lol). That someone is a thief is not only when he carries a gun, illegal means of acquiring services from providers is also stealing. 2. KILLS TIME: since its free you would want to use it really well, at least before the network blocks the cheat (nawao). You've done allot, only to realize that you've not even used up to a gig, (omoh). you then start looking for unimportant and irrelevant things to do online to make sure you use it to the fullest, meanwhile there are important tasks ahead of you. This will eventually lead to more and more procrastination. 3. SLEEPLESS NIGHTS: As per unlimited things you didn't pay for na, you then try to download all the (irrelevant) games and movies you need so badly, but the network disconnects at times so you need to stay awake to make sure you connect back. you then check the time only to realize its 4am (lol) and you either work or lectures to attend to by 7am. (Na only serious coffee go save you). The funniest part is that you'll repeat same things the next day since the internet is faster at night. 4. PORN ADDICTION: You told yourself that you never visit that porn site anymore, but then remebered that you have a veery fast and free internet at you reach. You then tell yourself just one clip, from one you end up spending hours watching porn (how you go take stop). addiction continues since the na awoof internet. 5. A SIN: Exodus 20:15 says ;"You shall not steal". If you think its not a sin when you use cheats tell me how. The truth is so bitter..... Pls tell this Nonsense to the Telecommunication companies. Tell them to offer reasonable data charges instead of this ur FIVE REASONS YOU ARE NOT MAKING SENSE. It is your Problem if you dont have self restraint and control. Pls change the tiltle to "Five Reasons Why I, EBUBS Should Stop Using All Internet Cheats ASAP". Then you will make sense to ur self and those in ur shoes. One of the medium of data transfer is through the Atmosphere(i.e Electromagnetic wave). Tell me whether you and them follow go take permission from God before una dey use am. |

LoJ: Hello Benodic,
I am one of those that admire many of your posts, and was among the first one to commend your financial advices. Since my previous comment may have pushed many to embrace the system presented in your whatsapp seminars, I felt I have a moral obligation to air my views on the topic. This is just my opinion, and everyone should be free to follow his or her own intuition.
Money is in my opinion not an end in life, but a mean to the end, and the manner in which we acquire the money matters.
Multi level marketing (or MLM) is in my opinion incorrect and contrary to Justice and love. Yes it can turn some few into milionnaires, but is doomed to make many more loose their initial investment. Therefore, at some point some will definitely get rich from defrauding others. The fundamental problem with MLM programs, no matter the low investment and high return on investment they suggest, is what is called the Ponzi Scheme.
http://www.investopedia.com/terms/p/ponzischeme.asp https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ponzi_scheme
For instance, when in a MLM Program Each person is asked to recruit at 3 other people in other for the process to continue, we will get : - One person - 3^1 = 3 people - 3^2 = 9 people - ... - 3^21 = 10,460,353,203
It can be seen easily that already at the 21th level, for the system to perpetuate it would require more than 10 billion people which is far more than the whole population of the earth. It means that, even if the whole world would suscribe to any particular MLM program, it would still not suffice for any one to get promised results.
That’s why MLM programs of any kind are morally wrong. They are mathematically impossible to sustain, and will necessarily at some level defraud the last batch of people, which are the majority. It is therefore in my sensing morally and even legally in some countries (like in Europe) unjust to enrich oneself that way. Only those at the very top, or who joined early enough, collect a lot of money from the misfortune and gullibility of others.
I repeat again, My intend is not to bash anyone. People should be free to do whatever they want to do with their money. But let it be clear that I do not commend a program that will necessarily defraud people’s money, even if it is a low as 1k. Anyone can do his own research and come to his own conclusions.
Cheerful greetings. I have always had my doubt about this thread. with the way He deceitfully constructed the thread name thereby recruiting his own downlink without his recruits knowledge of what they are getting into. MLM is a fraud. A professional one. I appreciate you airing your opinion on MLM. Truly you positive comment bout him made me to accept his promises. So I gave him my number and he added me to his recruitment group in the name of Seminar. Lo and Behold it was MLM, immediately I told him my mind on whatsapp and he removed me immediately before I spoil his fraud business. |

How come you bump into him at different places? Try as much to cut out any form of familiarity with the guy. Abeg stay in your house if you truly love your friend. Lobatan!!! I wish most if not all women can think like this. There should be boundries if not restriction to our relation with person of the opposite sex who is not ours. esp our friends husbands, wives etc. Thank you @titi4fola |

Stupedinluv: But what if she asks me why i stopped coming over? We are so close. Apart from her house, i bump into her husband at different places sometimes. Stay away from her husband. Yes, stay away from dat house. ''we are so close'' what is that supposed to mean. Ehn if u are so close, that means her husband is ur husband cos apart from ur father and mother. The only thing that can make two women ''close'' is a man that sleeps with them both and on the pervert people is lesbianism. So what are u talking. Dresswell una no go gree. |
