Is he exclusively breastfed? If yes, is he feeding well. Pls take him 2 d doctor. 2 days of not peeing is not good.

I have plenty questions this morning abeg make una bear with me and help me answer them. When do babies start sleeping for longer hours thru the night? My baby is 5 months old and we still wake up minimum of 5 times per night and she wants to comfort nurse everytime she wakes up to go back to sleep.
Pls is it necessary to teach a baby to sit or they do when they are ready? She's also not interested in sitting on her own and people are already bugging me that i didn't start early with her. For now she's only interested in rolling over and she's already rolling on both sides.
Lemme stop here for now as i await answers. Thanks in advance

Cos u r picking her up immediately she cries makes her keep waking up. Y not leave her 4 a bit nd c if she sleeps back on her own. Else she 'll keep waking up even wen she is not hungry just 2 comfort feed nd it's not a good trend u r setting, just b consistent. 2ndly has she gained neck control? If yes u can start putting her 2 sit by support all her sides wit pillows. She can seat for like 5mins den wen she starts getting use 2 it u increase d time. Gradually she learns. Sorry 4 my epistle, oda mamas 'll ans.

If ur baby is taking adult meals n not choosy, den go ahead. I stopped @ 1ur cos she takes everything. I give her pap n tea including all our meals. God crown our efforts.

My dear, d earlier d better o. Just keep putting her on it till she gets use 2 it. Nowadays kids wear diapers till more dan 2yrs bt It's better 2 start training dem early.

The reason why it wasn't emphasized on your first visit was cos your baby was only given BCG, Hepatitis B vaccine and Oral Polio Vaccine so those ones were less painful. But this six weeks visit, Penta was given together with OPV too. Penta injection contains five different vaccines hence the name 'penta'- five. These include, tetanus toxoid, diphtheria, pertusis, hemophilius influenza and hepatitis B. So you can imagine giving your baby five vaccines at once. If you can remember vividly how painful the TT injection was when you took it while pregnant. Generally we advice we give the baby PCM syrup BEFORE the injection not after as the pain immediate. No worries, while going for your 10 and 16 weeks visit you can give her the PCM as the second and third doses of Penta will be given again. Hope this helps.

Ayam just comin from the pharmacy,as the hospital z a bit far from us.i decided to improvised the pharmacist gave us altmal...hope i got the spellin rightly,with bonababe and pcm.hav givn her the altmal and the temperature haz reduced,she z sleepin.chai motherhood z an experience.

Bonababe contains pcm pls, u either give her bonababe or pcm, bt not both. I'm not an advocate 4 teething medicines sha.

He may b coliciky, he ll outgrow it by 3- 4 months. 4get all dose myths n diagnosis been peddeled about. U shld also watch wat u eat cos some foods aggravate it. Myb u shld try ruling out beans n dairy foods 4 now. Pele.

Yes, bt in benin its given @ 9mths. I had 2 take my dd 4 her 9mths immunization in Benin cos I cldnt make it 2 Lagos dat period, she was given ipv, measles, yellow fever n vit A. I dintcollect dd Vit A cos we collected @ 6mths wen I was in lag. Benin dsnt av 6mths immunization.

@ proudmum, ur immunisation is in order. U ll b given d vit A wen u go 4 ur 9mths. My colleague uses specialist in Benin, after 14weeks d next immunization was 9mths. No 6mths. D vit A was given den.

She will be takin penta 2,Rotavirus n pneumococcal but my question is dat intend skipping the 14th week immunization of rotavirus n pneumococcal n only get d penta 3.hope it wont cause any issue?cos me dont hv another 19.5k to gv at 14th week.
