Here it is. My EDD was 24th Juuly but I guess God had a better plan till Aug 1st, contraction began with blood at 2pm. Immediately I started climbing staircase thinking it would help to fasten the whole process but dat na miss call. I went to the redeem hospital where I registered and the midwife simply told me that I would deliver the next day. I slept over at d hospital till morning

I don't think babies can have dandruff. It is called cradle cap. What I did for my LO was, pour olive oil on his head, wait 5-10 mins and comb out with a fine tooth comb.

There is a special shampoo for it though.

Hahah story of my life. I don't have any hair but my dd is blessed with long full hair. To wash, condition, comb, plait, whatever is serious war....

She doesn't agree to hair bands or cap or anything on the hair. Seriously contemplating cutting it

I use shea butter alone except for the few times I use anoited olive oil and I dont apply it in the morning..but most importantly I wash once in 15days and condition with egg yolk. Then I cover her head overnight with net(I use the cap used for bonding,it goes for just 50bucks.

Although, I think it migh t be herediatry cos I get comments about my hair too

Has anyone tried BOOTS products? I use the lotion,oil,powder,shampoo,soap for my daughter.. Five months plus,no rash,no reactions.. And my baby has a lot of folds on her neck and laps..yet no rash or any skin problem at all.
Though I use shea butter for her hair, infact,people stare at her whenever we go out cos its so long and full.

That sounds more like sensitive skin and an allergy to some chemical compound (she's reacting to baby oil). May I suggest switching over to more organic creams and oils (coconut oil and olive oil) and baby washes (Johnson's is notorious for being pretty harsh, try Aveeno or a few other brands if you can get them from abroad).

Some advice from a pediatrician and dermatologist for babies with persistent diaper rash: they advised that a lot of chemicals and synthetic fragrances are in a lot of bab products and recommend using more organic products. Diapers (unless they are those cheap cheap Chinese ones were one doesn't know how they made it) are usually safe (but they contain SnP, the ingredient used to trap moisture and parents don't like that it's a petrochemical) but leaving them on too long can irritate the skin. Wipes can be drying or have something that irritates skin, so switch to using a soft face towel with warm water to clean up for a while (less harsh on baby) and get a mild organic butt cream.

I want to buy Frisogold, Cow and gate, Purity and Heinz for him,pls hope these combinations are not too much? And pls those of you mamas that give your babies cereal how do you rotate it? Like can i give frisogold in the morning, cow and gate in the afteroon and purity in the evening or i will have to give a particular brand all day.

Just a quick question please, I'm 38 weeks Pregnant, and I have noticed a slight reduced movement with my baby, Had my appointment last wednesday, heard baby's heart beat 149bpm...I just want to know if this reduction of movement is normal.

@ dis stage, if u notice nytn u r not comfortable wit, head 2 d hospital 4 check, beta 2 b told all is well after a checkup dan 2 just assume all is well. And u ll also b @ peace wit urslf. It ll end in praise by God grace.
